Im not impressed with tonight order. The food sat on the counter for 5 minutes while staff stood around and some needed hairnet while around standing by food .. 9 months ago-->This has been here around the 60's local spot. It has a 50 vintage vibe. The girls used to have roller skates. The rolls and sauce are different from the original burgers. The food is pretty decent, along with the treats of milk shakes, ice cream and etc. But yesterday and another day, my burgers were burnt, so the new cooks needed to pay attention. But please watch the flying traffic and park your car decently for other vehicles. It's a must to try.

I absolutely love this place. I have been coming here since I was a kid. The Red Rabbit in is a 50’s style drive in restaurant which was started in the mid 60’s. My favorite meal is the bunny burger, fries with extra bunny dust as well as the hotdog with chili. The establishment is only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from February to November. The prices are pretty reasonable, a Bunny burger will run you about $6.50 and fries are $3.00. The onlything I am sad about is, losing the poppy seed bun. That was what made the Bunny Burger in my opinion. They started to cut back on them over the past few years but this year was the first year they did away with them.

Great food, service and experience. Pulled up and they had our order delivered back to our vehicle in under 10min. Everything was hot and delicious. We got 2 burgers and fries with bunny dust.

We love the old diner feeling with carhops (sans skates). Love the nostalgia of the building too. You don't have to get out of your car. Everything is brought to you by the friendly carhops. The food is always delicious. We've never had a bad meal here. We even bought some bunny dust to use at home! They offer a variety of great foods; burgers, pizza, BBQ, fries, etc and prices aren't super expensive like most places. We live over an hour away but make the trip to Duncannon many times throughout the year just to eat here. Check it out... you won't be disappointed!

I heard their burgers are amazing, but I don’t eat beef so couldn’t try them. They do have other options. I went for the chicken finger meal which comes with fries (with bunny dust), coleslaw, and a roll. Everything was good. I’m not normally into coleslaw, but theirs was amazing. I also got a small peanut butter shake which was delicious. I totally get the hype. You can either sit in your car and eat or sit at one of their picnic tables around the building. If you choose to eat in your car, they hang a tray on your window. You’re right by the highway which can be quite loud so not exactly the most pleasant place to dine.Cash only. They have an ATM on site.Parking: Park and turn on your hazards for service.

This is such a fun and unique experience! You stay in your car, the wait staff comes to you, you eat in your car and drive off after you're done. The food and wait staff are exceptional! Always kind and prompt! One of our favorite summer treats and traditions!

The classic 50's drive up diner! Great prices. The menu is on the smaller side, but has all the classics. The double Bunnyburger is highly recommended.Great experience, great food, great prices, great curbhopper (waiter). Highly recommended for a luscious lunch stop on the way up or down the highway... Next door to Sheetz, and across from Rutters for a full gas and go, but the option of real food from Red Rabbit!Remember that Red Rabbit is "cash only" to avoid the bank fee at their on-site ATM.

Great little drive-in with outstanding burgers and much more. I was shocked when the bun came out toasted - a small touch that I thoroughly enjoyed. The servers were over the top helpful and handled our large group with ease. My only regret is we haven't stopped here before - as we've driven past this place many times. Highly recommend!

First time there, we enjoyed it very much. We got there about noon and the parking lot was almost full. You have to let the Hops know when you are ready to order by using your hazards lights, then they will come over. They were busy so you had to wait 15 mins or so, but it was worth the wait. I had the Bunny burger my husband had the double Bunny burger and he said it was to big for him to eat. My burger was just right for me. I liked the Bunny sauce on it. You had 3 choices for buns-plain, poppy seed or sesame seed. We had fries with lunch they were crispy and hot. We had sundaes afterwards they were twist ice cream, with CMP (chocolate, marshmallow, peanuts) it was really good. They open at 11AM TO 9PM, Friday, Saturday,Sunday only. They have take out orders. You can sit in your car or they have benches and tables. There is an ATM there they only take CASH. There are 2 kiddie rides there a merry go round and a car. You can also go to the window to order to. They have a good size menu for everyone. They do get busy so be wise on when you go or call them. We will be back.Parking: There is a lot of parking around restaurant and over by the curb. The hops will come to your car. You have to use your hazard lights to let them know you are ready to order.Kid-friendliness: There are kid friendly foods and games and a couple of kiddie rides there Wheelchair accessibility: Everything is either eating in your car or at the picnic tables. You can go order at the window if you want.

Always delicious, and fast service for them to take our order! It was quite busy, but I wouldn't say we waited a horrible amount of time to get our food. And the food is WELL worth the wait.

What a fun experience! I've heard of this place since I was little, and we stumbled upon it while out on a drive, so we had to give it a try. I ordered the bunny burger, fries, and a chocolate milkshake. My hubby only wanted dessert and ordered a sundae. My burger was delicious, and just as I ordered it (no tomatoes, onions, or pickles). The french fries were perfectly crisp, and the bunny dust was yummy. My milkshake was thick and, of course, delicious. Hubby enjoyed his sundae and ate half my fries, and tried my burger. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us the complete rundown. We will definitely go back. Make sure you check their website as they are only open Friday through Sunday. There are a few wasto orders, but we pulled in, turned on the 4 ways, and our waitress came to us. When she delivered our order, it was placed on your window via a tray.

The service was very good, and the food isn’t very expensive. We only got burgers and fries but they didn’t seem to have a ton of flavor. Might try something else next time

For what it is, it is really pretty awesome. A throw back to a different time. Pull in and flash your lights and a server greets you right at your car. Order to go, or eat right in your vehicle (they bring a tray that attaches to your window). Best soft serve ice cream ever. Wish it was open on our trip home (only open on weekends). Burgers looked fantastic (wish I got as I saw them walk by the window). Clean restrooms too (always a good sign). One word of caution... dangerous making a left turn out of there. Go right and turn around (if you need to go that way). Worth the stop and reasonably priced! P.S. Cash only $.UPDATE. So it's been months since the last time I drove by and had to stop in to see if the ice cream was really as fantastic is I recall. I know I was hungry that day. Well truth be told it is the most amazing twist you'll ever get. Super creamy and delicious!

Great burgers, fries and shakes. Reasonable prices. Only open Fri-Sun so very busy much of the time. Be prepared to wait a bit for food during their busiest periods but definitely worth it.

Cool experience. They come to your car, to take your order. They place your order, with the tray on your car window. Food was good. Also, serve soft serve ice cream.
