The Dublin Dollar General has much the same small, hometown feel as it's next door neighbor, IGA. Dollar General is mostly well organized, with a surprisingly high number of the name brands you've grown to love. Over the years, I've come to depend on very particular household cleaning products. Unlike other Dollar stores, Dollar General carried nearly every name brand cleaning product I used to pay far more to the supermarket. Personally, I would enjoy a larger decorative and practical household items section. I needed a large mat/rug where the pets come in from outside. However, I still wanted an attractive rug. What I found was quite lovely, and coordinated beautifully. Expect the staff to be helpful and friendly. Great local treasure.

They lock the doors hours before closing with no sign up saying they are closed. It's not the cleanest place also. I witnessed 5 people walk away tonight because the doors were locked and there was still 2 hours until closing time. I've been told the new manager likes to lock the doors when they are still supposed to be open. I'm not sure why but they are losing business because of this.

I just went into this store today. Every aisle is a complete disaster. There are carts and carts of boxes of stock not put away. Could hardley find anything. I definitely will make the drive to another dollar store in the area rather than going to this one. I used to love this store but it's now one of my most disliked stores!!!!!!

Came in the store yesterday to pickup a few things. Cashier vey friendly. Entire store a mess. Is there a manager or district manager assigned to this location? I’ve worked in retail for years. How is is such a terrible looking store allowed to exist. Don’t plan on coming back.

I came all the way from warrington to pick up my package, looking at their store time that says on their website. The girl who works apparently decided to close the store early, even though the store time is listed on the door. I told her, I came from far, I don’t need to buy anything, could please help me with that., She closed the store early for her own convenience and inconvenienced me., she was completely stubborn and ignorant and arrogant. she didn’t even move her finger to help me. She wouldn’t even have the curtesy to help me once. I told her, it will be very hard for me to comeback, but she completely ignored meShe was very rude&no customer service skills at all. Plus I feel like, she thought, I came to rob the dollar store 😇😇. She was keep on looking at me while i was sitting in my car and checking my phone like I was going to rob the store.

No signs stating "no public restrooms" and they refused to let me use the restroom. I came in to shop and I had a stroller with me and my sleeping baby. My stroller would not fit through the doors at the grocery store next door that I had just shopped at. I bought almost $20 worth of items and spent a lot of time in the store looking for Christmas presents. It's a shame that they discriminate people there. I am white so maybe that is the issue, or they thought I had merchandise in the stroller. Not everyone is crooked.. I just really needed to use the restroom.

This store is by far and away the most disgusting, despicable store in the Dublin area. The customer service is atrocious. The current manager is oblivious and ignorant. The store itself opens and closes whenever it wants. The register is constantly unattended. You ring a bell and still takes minutes to see a cashier most times. It's been like this for years. One good thing about the store was an employee named, Kayla. She went above and beyond. Clearly didn't fit in at that location and of course is gone now. I've complained to corporate numerous times. Nothing changes. Just gets worse. Wish something would change but sadly don't see it changing at all.

ALERT items aren't a dollar, however they aren't as expensive as other stores. The shelves are always fully stocked. The employees are helpful. They sell cigarettes for anyone who isn't aware of that. Bottom line the selection is bigger than dollar tree.

Ok, to start this off, I would like to say the middle aged lookin lady with a grey bowl cut, is wayyyyyy too rude. She has no respect for me or anyone else that I have witnessed. The only nice and respectful people I see and talked to there are these 2 young looking cashiers, god bless them. The carts being outside is such a hassle. I can never find a easy way to bring them in the store. I either have to pull it with opening the door with my back risking hitting the door on someone, or just slamming the cart on the door and having to deal with the annoying person I mentioned at first. So what I have to say about this…. Trash. #godblessthe2cashiersonly

Great prices on Tide,Gain, Downy, totally below grocery's stores like Giant. Dog food reasonable and fresh. Bar soap Zest 8 pack great price. Gel, hand antibacterial soaps and large refills are bargain price. Cases of soda on sale 3 for$10.00 on occasion. Cards 2 for $1. Plus name brand at $2, or 3, milk,eggs, frozen pizza,butter, potato chips, online coupons download in your cell. I love shopping here. Right now great Autumn items. Shoes socks underwear too.

Really good variety and some products are definitely worth more than the price. Today I bought a baby pool. Probably sounds weird, but I can't even find them online right now. Every other store in my area is sold out.

The middle aged woman working as a cashier on February 27th 2021 at this location in Dublin, Pennsylvania is the rudest employee I have ever encountered in the 15 years I've been using this Dollar General. Not only is she needlessly rude and has quite the mouth on her, she profiles customers based on physical appearance, and doesn't wear a mask. Save yourself the trouble of having to interact with this condescending woman and go to another branch.

I live just outside Dublin & I shop here about 4 times a month. They have good prices & sell just about everything you need. The staff is friendly & visible at all times. If you can't find something, ask.I have never had any problems shopping here. I'm in & out faster than Wal-Mart & if I prefer a certain brand, the IGA is right next door.

Worst ever - Every time i'm in there (which isn't very often thankfully!) there's something that reminds me why I don't go there very often.It's a number of things:- Daytime manager wandering around the store or hiding in the side/back room there talking to her friend on speaker phone..- Long lines - today I spent probably 10 minutes in line - one checkout person.. while the manager came by and got something from under the cashier/checkout counter and went to the back of the store with whatever it was.. meanwhile there were 6 people waiting to go through checkout.- often the workers are sitting outside instead of watching to see if someone's at the register..I could go on, but take this from my review.. shop-n-bag next door probably has what you need.. go there instead.

My favorite $ store, and the closest. This one time I couldn't find large snapping hair barrettes. Found a great selection at Walmart! Though I try to stay away from there.

Once again its Saturday and the Dublin store is closed again the nasty girl came to the door yelled at me when I asked if they will open soon, I spend 100s a month there not anymore I've had enough

This is my Dollar General and despite the aisles always being very full of boxes needing to be put on the shelves,the staff at the store here in Dublin is wonderful Always so nice Everytime I'm there (and that's a few times a week!)

Personally it bothers me when stores name themselves to sound like a dollar store when they are not.The store was pretty dirty, quite a few of the items I looked at had no price on them or the shelf. 2 of the stars are because of their location.. They are in the same shopping center as the DMV so it's something to pass the time while waiting 😐

no public restroom. I was told to use IGA next door. Very outdated store. Have to hold the door open to get the shopping cart into the store. Pooor old lady having difficulty doing so.

This store is packed full of stuff!Not everything is a dollar and most things are a little more expensive than they should be. There are somethings that are reasonably priced.
