The hours on Google and on the store doors clearly say they are open until 10pm. I got there at exactly 9:48 and there was this lady Erica standing at the entrence blocking me from getting in. I only wanted to get one thing. She said the registers were closed, but i saw people in the store. How were they going to check out if the registers were closed? I would like upper management to know about this. I have a picture that is time stamped and dated. I am going to try to contact corporate. This is not right. I was 100% within my rights to enter that store when i did.

Prices on the shelves are regularly incorrect by significant margins and Wal-Mart has better pricing on almost everything that isnt a DG exclusive (which isn't a lot or anything special). Nice to have something closer to home, but they should really change the name cause this isn't a budget store anymore, just a lower quality one. Only recommend going if absolutely necessary, or very few items are needed. We need something better than this for local shopping in the Drums area.

Absolutely rudest employee I have ever encountered. Went in 10 minutes before store closed just to grab a few 2 liters. Knowing I can't carry more than 2 easily I grabbed a cart. I was then chased down and yelled at for trying to shop so close to store closing. I was done shopping and out of the store with more than 5 minutes to spare and 3 more customers were walking in as I was leaving. She even said, not being rude but you better hurry up. Absolutely ridiculous.

I purchased an item I wanted to return. When I bought this item I used my bank card. It cost $15.90 & took 5 minutes to purchase. Returning took 25 minutes, their computer kept crashing. The cashier kept turning the register off & on. It didnt matter I wasnt keeping the junk item. After complaining she finally gave me the cash. Then I went shopping. I looked for laundry detergent, the one I looked for now comes in a much smaller bottle & the one I wanted they had hidden high on a top shelf. I had to get a broom and use the handle to reach. Nice right???

Not much in there for a dollar... got some cute decorative garden stakes at $1 though. Oh Easter candy and Easter baskets on sale from $1... Pretty much a standard Dollar General, this one is the largest I've been to.

Sales signs are always misplaced and sales never ring up properly. Dollar General is a trash huckster chain that people only shop at when they need a last minute item and a real store isn't close enough. Their prices are considerably higher than other stores. Double and triple check what your items ring up at check out, I guarantee at least one item will be a higher incorrect price per visit. This dirt merchant is the WORST!

Great stop on my way home from work. I always see Justin when I go in there and it's great to see such a hard worker. He really does a great job and is so nice and helpful.

Changing my 5 star to a 1 star. They essentially only have self checkouts that don't accept cash properly. Bring back normal checkouts, this is horrible.

I like shopping there because I am on a limited budget and I can get more for my money . They are excellent for home goods and low cost health and beauty supplies as well. Always shop the clearance too.. good deals there! Staff is friendly too.

The machines would not work and the lady insisted that it was my fathers fault. My father is legally blind and I was the one putting the card in and she insisted it was his card and even went as far as to yell at her elderly coworker. Whoever the women with the McDonalds styled eyebrows is she needs to learn what kindness is. That was not at all how you treat customers or coworkers in a workplace. I am only filing my complaint here because she didnt give us a receipt!

Love this store especially because of location being in the valley. Instead of driving to hazleton from sugarloaf i can just go here to drums. Wish a couple other stores would come around same area. Not big stores, ones like dollar tree , family dollar, etc.

Regarding this store FEDex Drop Off location. Do not drop FEDex packages at this location. They will not ensure the FEDex driver will pick up packages for days on end. Use another drop off location.
