This place is great. They do great work for a fair price and they even put up with my pup who was refused by petsmart because he cries a lot. They get right to business and let you know when you can get your pet. They are pretty fast if you ask me. Anyway, great place, great people with great attitudes, and I will return regularly.

At the Drexel Hill location John and Jacqui took care of my clingy pity! She hates her nails done and cries when we leave her… but when I arrived to pick up she was peacefully relaxing and smiling in a comfy crate she was cleaned, conditioned, with nails trimmed!She smells delicious and I’m very happy. Very reasonably priced and they accommodated a last minute appointment. Highly recommend!

We could not be happier! These guys know their stuff, are so friendly, and treat our dog like family. We have a very anxious 130 lb Alaskan malamute with A LOT of shedding and every time Doggy Spa gets ALL his undercoat fur off with a beautiful blow out. Our Greyson comes out sparkling and happy every time! 10/10 recommend

We scheduled an appointment after inquiring on their ability to groom an aggressive dog (Shih Tzu). We were assured that they can and groom a lot of aggressive dogs. I reiterated that our dog is aggressive. Provided cutting instruction (close body, clean face and showed him a video of how he should look), along with other information upon drop-off, . The male rep receiving our dog stated "don't worry they deal with aggressive dogs all the time. They can groom him." Well that was all talk. They are definitely overconfident in their skillset. My dog looks crazy. Incomplete tail, ears, face, and nails. The fur throughout his body is uneven. It was suppose to be a close cut. The male rep stated you were right, we tried. We did our best. They should be honest in their skillset before grooming. They are NOT good at grooming aggressive dogs. Seems like the boasting of their skill set was to get business. Back to my search for a new groomer. **1 star grooming + 1 star friendly staff = 2 stars**

I’ve never had a bad experience with Doggy Spa. Jacqui came in all the time to Wawa when I worked there and she’s been super awesome and patient with my little hell raiser, Charlie. I could not recommend her enough.Super nice people all around who work there, reasonably priced, and never had any kind of issue with them.

Every one was very friendly. I was about fifteen minutes later than my appointment time but my pet was still seen. He looked adorable when his grooming was completed. The only reason I gave four stars is because I came back after the four hour time frame I was given and he wasn't ready. It was almost two more hrs more which caused me to be a little late. Besides that, great service.

Update: The superior service here shone through today big time!!! Had issues getting all three of our dogs through the door. One helped watch my oldest Doxie and two of the ladies then followed me to help retrieve the other two who bolted back to the car. Just again, what a great place.Original review: Super great treatment and interaction with all three of our dogs. Prices are very reasonable and flexible scheduling really helps a lot. Highly recommend!

Just had our 2 dogs there for grooming earlier today. Gina could not possibly have been nicer or more professional! She loves animals, and our dogs took to her immediately! She did a wonderful job grooming both dogs and we will continue to go to Gina so she can work her magic. She has created a wonderful, pet friendly shop and atmosphere, (she has dogs, a cat, and hamsters there to welcome visitors! We highly recommend her and our dogs look forward to visiting again!

I took my dog here after calling for an appointment. I told them I could bring her any day of the week, or even the following week. They offered me an appointment for 11:00 the very next day. I was told it would take about 2 hours for her to be done. I dropped her off for her appointment, when I hadn't heard from them 4 hours later, I gave them a call, no answer. I tried 2 more times before heading over, I was getting worried as their site says they close at 4:00. When I got there my poor dog was stuck in a hot kennel, she was not bathed or groomed yet. I questioned what was going on and the workers said they had a busy day and some problem animals. So, they left my poor dog in the kennel for 5 hours. I was told they took her for a walk. I was very warm in their shop, and there was no water in the kennel with my dog, she was panting like crazy. I told them I had to run her outside for a break and so I could think about what to do. I decided that I didn't want her to go through such a miserable day without even getting her hair cut. I took her back inside, and they promised to take care of her immediately. They also told me it would be free of charge. I went back to pick her up and hour later. She was clean and cut, and they did not charge me. As soon as I brought her home, the dog had diarrhea, most likely from all the stress. I will never bring my dog here again. They didn't communicate with me at all, I would have had no problem picking her up and bringing her back later had I known she would have been stuck in that hot crate for such a long time. The one girl questioned as to why I would bring my dog in on such a busy day, had I been told it was going to be a busy day, I never would have brought her today. If you care about your dog, I would not recommend going here.

This has been our place to go for the last 12 years! They really care about your pet and their conditions and do they're absolute best in taking care of them. They have little something for everyone, allergies, skin sensitivity, ect. Or you just flat out that doggy smell out (which will take continuous time if your pet isn't on a spa schedule). The people here are friendly & serious... cause they know what their doing. They go by appointments & do walk-ins sometimes but good luck trying to get squeezed in at the last minute 😀. Your best bet is to make an appointment.

Not much to look at but they do a really good job and stay in touch with the doggy daddy (or mommy). I have been taking my Schnauzer here for about six months and I am very happy with the results. They really enjoy what they are doing and treat the animals well

Could not be more disappointed. I tried this place twice, and was unhappy with my dog’s grooming both times! The first time I picked him up and he had cuts all over his underbelly and behind. I was told I would receive a discount for my second grooming so I gave them another chance and brought him back. I even gave them a written description of how I’d like him cut and not a single one of my requests were honored. He hardly looks like he got a cut at all. I will never be spending my money on these overpriced underwhelming grooming services again! Only good thing I have to say is that the staff were friendly, but I’m not paying for friendly service, I thought I was paying for good service. Boy was I wrong. I suggest you keep looking if you’re wanting to find a good groomer at an affordable price, don’t waste your time here.

This was our first visit and I was completely satisfied. To the best of our knowledge our rescue dog had never been to a groomer for more than bathing but, in spite of being a bit scared to start with, she was wagging when we picked her up. She even wanted to go up to Jeannie as we left, wagging and acting happy so I believe she had a good experience.

I have been taking my one year old Cockapoo to the Doggy Spa since he was 6 months old. They always groom him the way i ask him. He has a very high maintenance coat, and had to be shaved once due to knotting, they gave me tips as to how to keep his coat well maintained in between his grooming sessions. I just took him again last week and they did exactly what I asked of them, I love his curls and they kept his hair long and just shaped him up, just like i like it!

I brought my two (albeit very large) dogs here previously without an issue. But the last time we went, they had the dogs in what they said were “the wrong cages” (I don’t know what that means) and let them sit in the cages for hours before they actually took them out to groom them. There were 2 tiny druggy looking girls doing all the dogs. They ended up having to call me for help and I am just as small a woman as the two ladies working there. My biggest dog got washed while I was there and I helped them clip her paws. The other dog became scared and restless and wouldn’t let anyone clip him (but we had already paid and tipped) so the lady gave my husband her personal number to try bringing him in again over the next few days… and then proceeded to ignore his texts and questions from that day forward. My dog’s nails never got clipped and we never got a response about coming back in. I will not be back.

Great place to have your puppy pampered. We use Jacqui at the Drexel Hill location. Our dog loves her and trusts her to handle her very sensitive ears and feet. She always comes out looking great.

BEWARE!! BEWARE!! BEWARE!! I trusted this place with my dog on January 21st 2021 and his eye was injured while being groomed. The cut was so deep if I hadn't caught it he could have lost his eye. The owner Dan Oliveri told me to email him the vet bill which I did. Then he blew me off for 2 weeks. Then he said he would only pay half the vet bill. I never heard from him again. He wouldn't answer phone calls or text messages. I have 2 file a civil suit against him at district court. Its not about the money now its about him not being accountable. How could someone own a business that makes money off people's beloved pets and not take responsibility when 1 is injured. It's scary 2 me that someone could be that negligent. Why would someone be that close to my dogs eye with something that could cause that type of damage. Why wasn't I made aware when I picked him up. He was very clearly not himself when I picked him up or acting the way he was when I dropped him off. He is a very easy dog 2 groom. I just don't get it.

First time bringing our Yorkshire terrier here for a trim and bathing and was very happy with the results. Very friendly staff who are extremely patient
