This is my favorite place to purchase fish. They offer fair prices, a great selection and unlike many stores the animals are healthy and happy. My comet goldfish are doing great and will soon grow into their pond.

Animals in cramped cages, betta fish in plastic cups??? And a poor parrot with like no feathers eating the worst diet possible the store is boiling hot and reeks I would not recommend buying pets here unless you’re saving that poor parrot.

Love shopping local businesses like this. Tons of supplies that you can't get from the big name stores. Owner was super nice and extremely helpful. We went to try to find a breeder box for our bird cage. They didn't have one but she had one in the back that she gave to us and offered to help us raise any babies that our birds have. There's a super cool parrot that talks and a super friendly cat that roams the store and greets customers. We'll definitely be returning to purchase more items. Highly recommend stopping there if you're in the area

Unorganized, dirty, jam packed with stuff and animals. The animals enclosures were too small for the animals to be comfortable (to be fair, that's most pet shops but this one was particularly bad).

Only been there once but I enjoyed my visit. I ended up purchasing two African millipedes that were very healthy and the staff were very helpful. I’ve worked in the pet trade about 10 years so I appreciated the customer service and I didn’t notice and enclosure that appeared neglected or dirty. Also keep in mind all pet store do have a pet or animal odor especially the smaller family owned stores and their store did not have an overwhelming smell. I plan to visit again in hopes of finding a tarantula which I also like they have a nice variety of species unlike the corporate stores nowadays.

This quaint little pet shop is the best in the area. I come here every week to purchase a mouse for my snake, which I also got here. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and will help you out with whatever you need. The prices are great, and the cat that lives there is super sweet. They cary all sorts of animals from rabbits to hissing cockroaches (yes, I have purchased hissing cockroaches). I know that I will definitely be continuing to purchase mice here every week, and recommend you check this place out.

Small, but they pack a nice variety in. A good store for exotic supplies. I wish their fish tanks were a bit cleaner but for the most part it's a good store. They sell live feeders and usually have a good stock.

I was very disappointed to see how dirty the bird cages were, and not one of the birds had clean drinking water. I just feel so bad for all the animals kept in this place.

Very disappointed in this store. We are a huge supporter of the quickly dwindling mom and pop shops, but the poor quality and lack of compassion of this shop is extremely disheartening. We have shopped here for many years always with a great experience buying feeding crickets and such for our bearded lizard. We stopped there the other day to purchase some fish for my stepdaughter, we purchased 3 guppies, a couple of tetras and a Plecostomus. In less than 16 hours all that is left is 2 guppies the rest have already taken the porcelain highway to the great sea in the sky. The 2 that are left don't show much promise of making it too long. The tanks water was tested and everything is all in check and there are no other factors that could explain this series of events. It breaks one's heart to see the look on a 7 year old little girl when you tell her time after time that she lost another pet. It's a true shame that a place that was once so good and showed such promise has become a place to avoid.

This place is great! They are very helpful and friendly. They have a nice selection of feeders and for the size of the place a good selection of other items as well. It is really nostalgic walking into a small family owned pet store vs a big box pet store.

Lovely little mom and pop pet store, reasonable prices, and well-supplied for exotics. If you have a picky-eating snake, they even have live feeders. Wish the fish tanks were kept a little bit nicer though.

Pets of the World has always been my local pet store. The owner Julie is friendly and truly loves her store and job. Up until recently I have always been more than pleased with the service that Julie, her staff and her younger volunteers have provided. In fact, my brother worked for Julie through out high school for 5 years. For many years she had a young man named Zach working for her and he was PHENOMENAL! However, now that Zach is gone, and an older woman Phyllis has taken his position, I am appalled with the service.I recently took my dog in the store (with Julie's permission) and he was attacked twice by the resident cat Tiger. This of course was not either animal's fault. However, the way that Phyllis handled the situation was unacceptable. She yelled at me to get my scared dog out of the store, did not help me when Tiger had us pinned in the front corner and unable to exit, did not help me AT ALL while I was trying to juggle a scared 70lb dog, attacking cat and my scared 2 year old son. I had to re enter the store to get my shoes that I lost in the scuffle and she did not acknowledge what had just happened. I am pretty convinced she is the spawn of Satan.Thankfully, this is the first even remotely negative experience that I have ever had at Pet's of the World and I will be going back solely because of Julie, but only after calling to make sure that Phyllis is no where near. I caution you to do the same.

This pet store is very small but has alot going on in a small package. Altho I couldn't find a chameleon (what I was looking for) they had many other reptiles and had birds along with guinea pig type animals, i.e. mice, rats, hamsters. I was very impressed with how much was in one little store but the staff is really something to talk about. They are amazing! They respectfully told me that they didn't have what I was looking for because they don't recommend it but pointed me in the right direction.

I was so happy to find this gem of a pet store locally. The staff is so helpful, and they WANT TO BE THERE, unlike sooo many pet store chains. Zack esp was able to help me on numberous occaisions with advice, and above and beyond service. The family is super friendly and caring. Prices are very reasonable and the store has that local ma and pa charm. Support Osbaldeston's, you are guaranteed to make new friends!.

Great place! The staff is incredible, service is great, and prices are fair! Also, all animals are kept in good care. I go there for all of my lizard's needs (food, etc.). Overall great place, never had a bad experience.

Osbaldeston's Pets of The World is a one of a kind place. Or should I say a KING place! They are superior to any chain pet retailer and their knowledgeable, and most importantly, CARING staff are always there to answer my questions. As a snake, cat, fish and lizard owner, I go to Osbaldeston's for all of my pet needs and questions. Ask for Zach while you are there, he is the best there is!

DO NOT BUY RATS HEREI purchased 5 rats and they are extremely unsanitary. Rat poop, shavings, and other unknown substances were on them. I had to wash off the rat to avoid feeding my snake that stuff!
