My husband, Dan Flore III, is an established and published Professional Poet and we have enjoyed reading his poetry at the Doylestown Bookshop several times when Poetry events were hosted and musicians like Jeff Bance have performed. Always an honor and a pleasure to frequent this establishment! Employees and patrons always friendly so highly recommend for anyone of any age!

Doylestown Bookshop is a nice independent, local bookstore. The store is large and has a great selection of books for all ages. They sell a lot of other items also. The children’s books area has a lot to offer. I didn’t see much staff around. The store is clean and quiet. There are places to sit. The book prices are average. The prices of the other items are somewhat overpriced. And, not every item has a price on it. This needs to change.

I received a Book Box from the Doylestown Bookshop for Christmas and I can't say enough about the whole experience. I filled out a questionaire as to the types of books I prefer and from there, the Bookshop staff (shout out to Zoe!) selected one of the best books I've read in a while - so perfectly curated. I happily gifted my very good friend a Book Box so that she could be on the receiving end of this fun. I only wish that I lived closer to this gem!!!

A gem of this town. It’s a large store with ample of parking on the back. They have all kinds of book categories, even magazines and puzzles. From self-help, to history, politics, psychology, animals, plants etc, you can find something for everyone. Further, their owners are lovely people who really care about the community. Highly recommended.

Always the place to go. If not in stock, they'll get it. If you want a read recommendation they'll tell you theirs. Ask them for help and they'll help you.You can also collect points on the goods you buy toward future purchases.A solid place to visit while in town.They also have all the local and surrounding schools reading lists.

One of the best small business books I have come across. Huge store with a great selection of books. I have even been to a event here and it was so worth down the travel here. I always like looking at to see what books are on display on the display tables. Not only that but they have a great amount of awesome socks and other non book things!

I can't thank Doylestown Bookshop enough for making our family's book-shopping experience so enjoyable. They have a great selection of children's books, the staff was incredibly helpful in finding us exactly what we were looking for and the store itself is always so clean and inviting. This bookshop is always so clean. Customers and staff are super respectful and quiet which is nice while skimming through books. I absolutely love all the stuff they have for sale besides books. I’ve gotten reusable bags, kitchen decor, tarot decks, even candles and bath products. Everything seems so luxurious, while still be cute and affordable. I love that I can support a local business, get a good book, and maybe get a cute new mug or flower pot too.

Glenda and her staff are just fantastic and offer a fantastic shop right in the middle of town. Book club gives you a great sense of community and allows you to get out once a month.

A really great place to buy new books. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. This is my first stop to buy books. They've got all sorts ranging from the Dog Man graphic novels to classics like 1984. I come here for all of my books, and even before i resort to using Amazon. Reasonable prices and an over all great time.

Warning to all parents !!! Do not let your children into this store unattended! My 14 year old daughter was sold a book that is rated on the Target website as "suitable for age 22 and over" with no questions asked. When I called the store to ask them what their policy was and to suggest that they request ID for certain books if a parent is not present, I was told they are not in the business of banning books (which is not what I was actually asking them to do) and that they would willingly sell any book to any child without parental consent. What a disgrace !!

I went into Doylestown bookstore for the first time this past weekend. I was so impressed with the friendliness and helpfulness the employee showed us! I was also quite happy to see that some employees wore masks and others did not; thank you for treating your customers with the same respect and allowing us to make our own decisions. I will return here to get my books rather than ordering from Amazon!

This bookshop is the best. It’s so cute and welcoming and has lots of fun stuff in addition to a wide variety of books. It’s hard for shops to keep customers coming back with the prolific online selection and ease these days but this one does it for me- I’ll stop by any time I’m in town!

The selection of books here, is absolutely stunning!From great romance novels such as the Twilight saga to Anthony Burgess's A Clockwork Orange.If you're looking for any type of book from horror to sci-fi I would suggest the Doylestown Bookshop

I've been enjoying this bookshop for years. They have great selections, a tremendous assortment of other items like bookmarks, puzzles, you name it. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly. A bring authors of all types for book signings and discussions. A great local spot to visit!

This is a great bookstore! I brought a book to the checkout counter and another employee noticed it didn't have a "signed copy" sticker on the front and said "just wait!" before running to the shelf to grab one that was signed. The two employees then proceeded to tell me that the book is excellent. As a book enthusiast, what more could you ask for?!

A reliable bookshop for ALL of your needs, for all ages and all interests. They also have great events. My family attended a meet the author event, with my kids' favorite Brad Meltzer "I Am" Biography series! They loved it and still cherish the books and the memory!

This is always a place I stop by when visiting my parents. Growing up in Dtown and going to a CB school, it was easy to get my summer reading books each year--they were always stacked right in the main area, ready to be ransacked by teens and tweens of the like. I was even here at Midnight Madness, awaiting with most of my family for the last Harry Potter book to come out so we could buy our copy. I've seen this place changed around over the years, but I do think that it has been all for the better. Sure, they will not have all the books that a B&N has (but do B&Ns even have everything you want? No.), but I would rather support a local bookstore than the larger chains, without a doubt.
