An excellent grocery store, very welcoming , feels fresh , lot of various departments and sections. Cafe,fresh bakery , food bars, meat sections , cheese section , pharmacy and list goes on… every section is staffed and help is always there. Pricing is not expensive but May be bit higher than other competitor. But the shopping experience is awesome and Sunday morning with crowd it gives you a different feel. Their product selection , quality of products are top notch. Ample car parking space but there will be always packed. Staffs are very active , attentive , welcoming and friendly. Very well maintained, clean store and definitely suggest to everyone.

This would be the most ideal grocery store if they were a bit cheaper. The store is very well organized, staffed, and it's clean. I love the variety of items you don't usually see elsewhere. They have an address where you can get warm food if you work nearby for lunch or to bring home a prepared dinner.

This Wegmans is located on Lancaster Avenue in Downingtown. I always found this Wegmans carrying fresh vegetables healthy options for takeout, pizza/hoagie take out options, cake and bread. They also have wine and beer collection available for purchase. The store as such has custom order to cakes, and I always liked cake flavor and the decoration they put on the cakes. They're open a little late, and they also have a place to eat within the store around the cafe area. The parking is good enough. However, during the busy hours, it's tough to go in and get out. Nice place to shop.

Wegmans is by far the best grocery store I've ever been to. If you're looking for fresh produce fish meat and baked goods this is without a doubt the best store for that. I will shop here for my daily needs but also for all my special events as I can get a delicious steak a bottle of wine and a happy birthday card for my wife all under one roof

This is basically the best grocery store. It's very clean, organized and inviting. They have everything you can want and more. But I want to highlight their flower/plant section because wow. I have not seen another grocer that has done it better. The selection and care blew me away. So much variety and for reasonable prices too. You can ask to have a custom bouquet made for your with no extra charge. This is a great option when you can't get to a flower shop.

I love Wegman’s stores in general, so so much! But this one…I’ve definitely seen better, but like all Wegmans’ they still have a great selection of anything you could ever need and the cafe, market, meals-to-go end of things is still very nice, BUT I stopped by this wegmans on a Sunday and it seemed older, darker, very busy, and the bathrooms- very wet. 😅 but generally clean besides that and the customer service decent. So while I’ve had better experiences at Wegmans’ locations elsewhere, I still can go be them a rating below 4 stars, and have to thank the employees for being friendly and seeing after all of our needs for those of us chilling at the cafe. Thanks Wegmans.

Shoppers here are like deer in the headlights. Clueless and unaware of their surroundings. Not just that, Wegmans carries too much of their own brand, which is average at best, and premium product prices.

Easy to find and plenty of parking. Excellent variety in the Asian sauce section. They stock Angelo Pietro Salad dressings in the Asian section. Great selection of items in the bakery department. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The checkout was excellent.

This was a great store looked very clean and it was my first time at a Wegmans so I was very impressed by everything they had to offer. They had everything ,so many things I have struggled to find at other stores were easy to find here . Prices were around the same as most other places .

Best grocery store I've ever been to!! It has so many things you won't find at other grocery stores. Like this Cannoli dip! It has to be the best thing I have ever tasted! And I can only find it here and believe me I searched everywhere!! It also has a lot of food from other countries. And everything is top notch, so that being said, it is more expensive than other grocery stores. I definitely don't get all my groceries here, but I go here for certain things. If they had better prices, I think everyone would shop here!

I used to shop here just because it had the biggest selection but I always had to do so at 11:00 on Fridays so I could actually move around since the aisles are so small and it's not as crowded. Once a new store with an in-house butcher opened near me I was relieved since their meat is fresher and almost half the cost of Wegman's. I'm told that it's gotten better but whenever I drive through the shopping center it's always a madhouse.

We just hand the worst shopping experience of any grocery store we have ever shopped in. The checkout clerk was ultra aggressive wouldn’t reach our cart to scan a case of water intentionally placed the bread and rolls at the bottom of our bag crushing them refused to bag half of our items then flipped the receipt at me allowing it to fall to counter. Never shopping this store again we live between Malvern and Downingtown, Malvern is where we will shop from now on!!

I'm a huge Wegmans fan but this isn't one of the better stores I've seen. Large number of out of stock items, shelves are poorly faced and disorganized, isles feel cramped and difficult to navigate around other shoppers, produce quality seemed lower than I expect... There are at least two other Wegmans locations in the immediate area and I'd recommend either over this one.

Edit 7/18/2023: this store has gotten much better since my last review and pictures below. I usually find everything I need and the shelves are stocked.Previous review: Have shopped here for 14 years, but sadly, I think it's time to part ways. They are consistently out of every day items (like half and half). At first I thought it was pandemic related, but all of the surrounding stores have the items wegmans is missing. Staff is great, store is clean albeit small. But who has time to go to 2 different stores each week?

Lisa accommodated 4 classes with an informational talk on Wegmans during their busiest time of year! She was kind and patient. After shopping, we had the best lunch at Wegmans.

Great store but 75% of the associates stocking are rude and act like you are in their way when they are coming that way or say something is out of stock and then you come back 10 minutes later and it is there.

Always busy..always a good selection. Usually nice cheerful help...perimeter of the store with bakery,cheese and pizza and sandwiches rivals any other stand alone business. Great hoagies at decent prices. Overall a great experience but occasionally sold out of items or more likely just waiting to restock from back due to continual crush of people.

Wow the WORST wegmans I have EVER been to, the deli was the worst for me when I came up there the 2 older men and the chubby white lady just stared at me and waiting almost 3 minutes later to ask me what I wanted. On top of that the people that came up after me were greeted nicely….. I don’t play race cards usually but I definitely do feel because I’m brown skin I was treated and looked at like crazy ITS NOT ACCEPTABLE……

I called more than 24 hrs ahead and asked the floral Dept to arrange 3 single roses and I would pick them up . While I wanted a white or yellow o was told they o it had red. When I arrived I was told to “pick from the bin” of roses already laying out . I asked if she was sure nothing was put aside from me and she said no. Many were brown on the edges . I ended up getting another color . When asked if they had a tube to put water I. To keep Fresh she said no they only had a a green sandwich bag . I wanted to give the roses as a celebratory gift for 3 girls who have made a wonderful accomplishment. I was hoping to save some time . Now I have 3 roses in plastic bags and I can’t even get the price tag off .

I really like Wegmans. They have fresh fruits and meats. Hot foods, wonderful baked goods, I can usually find what I am looking for. They sell a great variety of things.

I haven't quite found the best time to go yet, as it's always busy. They have by far the best selection of groceries in the area. Most likely whatever you're looking for, they have it. Checkouts always seem to be well staffed, so I've never waited in a long line to check out.

Grocery store with extra long business hours should get 5 stars. They have a section for just cheese and excellent sushi section. Of all the grocery store chain, Wegmans is the best in my opinion.

It's changed, doesn't have the variety it used to have. Veggies are ok but no different than anywhere else. The olive bar is gone, they pre-packaged and it's all pitted. Their home made breads are nice but their packaged breads are all just mostly white bread or their own brand. The last few times has not impressed me like used to.

We always appreciated Wegmans when we lived here and now realize even more how exceptional it is since leaving its East Coast markets. We're back East from Las Vegas but in Charlotte nothing is a good as then - and our neighbors from farther North agree!!
