They lost my business.I went there for some stone and what I believe was one of the owners was total rude to us. He said that a scoop of the stone was too heavy for our truck, so I asked if we could get a half scoop and come back for the other half. He said then I have to come out here twice for the same sale. I told him to forget it. Real customer service.I went to standard concrete where the stone was a lot cheaper and I didn’t have to deal with rudeness.

Spangler’s, it’s clear from your response that you did not get an accurate story from “the stone loader”. I too was involved in the transaction. I’m a regular customer who obviously didn’t know the procedure on ordering stone. The “stone loader” was extremely rude and treated us like an inconvenience. The snide comments and the condensation remarks were inappropriate about splitting the scoop. When going in to get a refund, the employee inside wasn’t surprised with the rude comments made by the “stone loader”.

Spangler Ace Hardware store has an amazing selection. I've even gone there and found what I could not find at the big box stores for home repairs. Coupled with wonderful customer service, definitely worth a visit.

Just moving to this area, and Spanglers was a local hardware store recommended for an item I needed. Found the employees to be very friendly and helpful. Store seems to have a large selection of items. Will not hesitate to visit again.

I was in need of a 46oz Yeti for a Christmas present that was out of stock everywhere. Ash went above and beyond to contact the warehouse and have the item delivered the next day in time for Christmas! You can’t get this level of customer service at a big box retailer. Spangler’s and their employees are the BEST!

The people at Spanglers are so nice. I enjoy being able to talk to someone not like at the big box stores . They are always willing to help you with your purchase and help load it if you need help. A wonderful place for just about everything you need for your yard or home. I wouldn't go anywhere else

Prices are a bit higher but over-all it's a very organized and clean store. Cashier's could use more training in providing excellent customer service instead of attitudes and non existent smiles. That happens every time I go to check out. I work in customer service so I may set the bar much higher then most others.

Good hardware store If you're looking for something that isn't big box like the competitors. Lots of inventory. I found what I was looking for. This day and age that's rare. Wasn't packed like the big stores either.

Usually never find what you need,but can always find something you'll get. If that makes sense.. Friendly staff always willing to help. Most weeks you can always find good deals on products. What I like is that the also carry items that places like Lowe's and the Depot don't carry.

Helpful employees, always available to answer questions. They are there to welcome you when you walk in the door and scattered throughout the store. Found everything we needed. Prices are a little higher than box store but it is more convenient, the service is better, and we believe in supporting local businesses.

Don't ask any of the young/ new workers there for help they don't know anything yet and didn't bother to show me where the product was. I only give the 4 star rating because I've been going there for years and know its history as a good store, one gripe though they need somewhere else to put there mulch and other stuff other then the sidewalk. I know for a fact an older gentlemen fell off of it because the sidewalk was taken up almost all the way by bags of mulch and other stuff.
