(Douglassville, PA Location) - Their pharmacists are the worst. When I call about a prescription, etc., they’re extremely quick to cut you off and get you off the phone as quickly as possible. You’re made to feel as if you’re bothering them. Corporate needs to step in here, and reevaluate their pharmacy staff. My advice, use Rite Aid Pharmacy across the street.

The girls working at the front of the store are always friendly and helpful. They ask if you need help finding something and also tell you if something is on sale that you are purchasing. I appreciate her telling me the cold medicine was buy one get one 50% off.

Transferring my prescriptions to Rite Aid. Unprofessional pharmacy techs who have no compassion for customers that they serve. It is unacceptable that customers are told that their prescription just came in and sorry it’s going to be 30 minutes. This place needs to get back to basics with customer service and deprioritize refill workload and ensure new prescriptions get filled ASAP because these patients will soon be arriving to get their medication. Patients whom are ill needing medication are waiting! Show some compassion to your customers!

This is the closest cvs to my home. I go out of my way to a different cvs. This is the worst pharmacy. They cant keep any personel, rude, dont care about customers.

Update. Nobody wants to do your stupid surveys. I just want to pay and leave without having to click 30 buttons on your screen and signing up for contactPeople at the counter were not incredibly unpleasant today. Maybe they're hiring better? I still hate this place and hope it shuts down.

This cvs is horrible! I can't pick up my prescriptions most times because the drive thru is closed and the inside has a line so long that your waiting in line for at least an hour. It's ridiculous. I understand that jobs are short staffed but there has to be a better solution then me going without medication because I can't wait all night for one register to take care of a line full of customers. Then when you do get to the register they are rude and unprofessional.

This store is *always* under-staffed. The employees are overworked and it shows. The pharmacy always seems to be in complete disarray. Some of the pharmacy staff are unashamedly rude to customers. I’ve witnessed multiple shouting matches between customers and pharmacy techs. The pharmacy is often out of medications. Errors filling prescriptions are common. It’s impossible to get through to the pharmacy by phone. The only thing I can count on this CVS for is a horrible experience.

This location is the worst managed pharmacy I've ever used. They are always understaffed. Yesterday the drive thru was closed and it said to go inside. Parked my car to go inside and the inside Pharmacy was also closed. The line at the drive thru is sometimes a 45 minute wait and when you go inside its no better. After yesterday, finally decided to switch to Rite Aid.5/29/2023 Visited again today (not sure why and definitely will NEVER go in again) and while waiting in line for the Pharmacy, they finished helping the man in front of me and then told me they couldn't help me because they had to close because it was after 1:30pm. I was already in line prior to 1:30pm but they still refused.

Careful shopping at this CVS!!!! You will be discriminated against without root cause. I was banned in lieu of their employees being trained. Despise this company because there is no corporate or help available. Trust me, shop at Walmart instead. It's cheaper and you will be treated like a human being.

Do not have our prescriptions ready when they say that they are. Go to pick them up, and they are no where to be found! Not happy with them and are currently looking to change to another pharmacy

This CVS has always been understaffed or filled with employees and pharmacy techs that don't know what they're doing for the past 6 months now. Everytime I go there it's always either issues with filling my prescription because of apparent insurance issues when it's really the staff who dont know how to do their job right or the drive thru is closed. I'm just sick of going to this CVS and having to jump through hoops or go through a giant hassle just to get my meds filled. No more I will be using a different CVS from now on. It seems everyone else posting reviews on this CVS is making similar complaints. Makes me wonder if they even care or bother to read their reviews.

Prescription sent yesterday at 1pm. Went to pick it up yesterday at 8pm. Told to come back the next day, went back and told to give them 45 minutes. Went back and hour later and the pharmacy was closed and they didn't know when they would reopen. Can't transfer prescription because it's already been filled and billed. So it's stuck in CVS purgatory.Update: picked it up on the third day.

AWFUL! Meds were supposed to be ready yesterday. Drive thru is closed. Came inside, been waiting 22min so far. Went to counter to inquire, pharmacist has to fill it and he hasn’t had a chance yet. HIRE MORE PEOPLE, CVS!!! This is ridiculous! I will be transferring mine and my family’s meds elsewhere. I’ve had it with this CVS. Closing care acct too. I’m so done!

This company and particular branch pharmacy are horrible. They frequently are out of stock for prescriptions. When this occurs, the pharmacist claims "...oh well there is nothing we can do..." The service is also rude, especially the pharmacists. The pharmacy closes whenever they want! I used to use Rite Aid, which was MUCH better. Now due to my insurance, I have to go there. Great huh? More merging companies with a horrible product! Avoid this place like the plague.

Horrible customer service. Had my prescription filled Friday and came back today to pick up and it was "lost". The pharmacist was extremely ugly to me and told me to call my doctor for another refill. She was unprofessional and needs to work on her people skills. Now I understand why this CVS has such a poor rating.

This pharmacy is hands down the worst pharmacy I've been to. They are completely unprofessional and show minimal effort. The head pharmacy tech was going to let me walk out without the medicine I NEED. THANKFULLY, one of the techs in the back was listening to the conversation and told me Rite Aid has the medicine I need. Unfortunately, the head tech took it personal and made me call in to Rite Aid personally to check rather than checking their systems or maybe calling the store for me me. (I was the only patient there, she wasn't busy) this would all be some what fine if the tech didn't have a terrible attitude and had just the smallest amount of customer service skills. Never coming back here. I guess I have to go back to my hometown oharmacy 30mins away

This is the second time in a week that I've gone to CVS and prescriptions have not been filled. I had to have them sesrch for them and they had them on file but never filled . I had called last night because they CVS app said they filled it on November 8th but they never did. They said they would get on it and have it ready first thing this morning. Around noon I used them drive thru and the girl at the drive thru was rude and kept giving excuses instead of apologizing on why they have not filled the scripts. Early this week I picked up multiple prescriptions and noticed one was missing. There was a very long line I had to wait 10 minutes to even pay.When I told them they were missing a script they told me I had to go to the consultant to get it filled. I went to them and then I had to wait 20 minutes for it to be filled and then get back in the long line line to pay for it. I am very dissapointed in their customer service as well as their ability to fill automatic refills. I've been going to this CVS for the last 13 years I've lived here and in the past 3 months it's gone downhill considerably

Worst pharmacy I've EVER used. I've had to wait 2 weeks for medication that I NEED, twice this has happened now! And when I am able to get my medication, it takes HOURS to be able to pick it up. The pharmacists are rude, unorganized, and unhelpful. It's pathetic.My cvs app tells me my prescription is ready but when I went to pick it up they made me wait for 20 minutes before someone told me there were no pharmacists to fill them. Then said the medication was still processing, which I got confirmation from my Dr that it wasn't. I've called at least once a week since August 17th, every single time the employee was extremely rude and condescending. They will argue with you and then put you on hold out of nowhere. Do not go to this cvs if you want a reliable way to get your medication!

I have been waiting over an hour for them to get my script. Same insurance for 11 years, same doctor, same script for 3 years. Now they tell me it isn’t covered, when it always was before. Definitely switching pharmacies.

Honestly this cvs has been the worse. My mom called this morning to try and get our insluin for diabetes. The person on the phone was majorly rude. She said “ we do not have any insluin in stock, shipment comes tomorrow you can’t wait until then.” Very rude and as someone who has diabetes you cannot have insulin and wait another day to get it. She then told her to go to another cvs and just hung up the phone. Honestly it is so sad how they treat people. Yesterday when we picked up other meds, the lady on the phone gave a customer attitude then they called her names off of the phone.

Have been to this pharmacy several times to pick up prescriptions for my family. The pharmacy is very hit and miss, often do not have medication ready or the correct information. Today was irritating. Showed up to pick up a prescription that was confirmed two days earlier. I was told that the medication was not approved by the provider. When I told them it had been approved two days earlier the pharmacist "double checked" and said yes they had received approval but the prescription was not filled, I should come back in a half an hour and it will be ready. Two hours later when I arrived I was told in a dismissive tone that they hadn't gotten to it, didn't have time, and I should come back in 20 minutes. This was a low point for a staff already struggling with it's competence.

This may be the worse pharmacy around. The pharmacy opens 2 hours late. The prescription are wrong, suppose to get a three month supply and one get one. Than when u need the rest of the pills they say you can't because they were just filled last month. The staff there are over worked and just down right nasty at times. The store part is nice and clean but the pharmacy area is very dirty. We get calls saying medication is ready to be picked up. Go over and there is nothing there. If I could give zero stars I would. Now in the process of switching all meds to another shop.

The younger staff and pharmacists are always so nice and pleasant to deal with. Some have a nasty attitude if they mishear you or if you have any questions regarding your meds. It’s happened many times in the drive-thru with the same person. Overall much better at getting things organized than other CVS locations in the area.

So insanely rude. I called to get a prescription transferred and waited on hold. When someone picked up, they immediately said, “Our computers are out of service so please call back later today”. I said, “Okay, I just have a question-“ and was cut off with “Bye” and they hung up on me. Never EVER had someone talk to me like this before. Will not be using them anymore.

Absolutely worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with! BEWARE! If they tell you your insurance provider doesn’t approve your meds it’s probably a lie. They don’t have what you need in stock. They are always busy and make sure you know they are too busy for you. If we hadn’t transferred our meds to rite aid we would be out 1,000$ in meds that our “insurance” “rejected paying for supposedly” and yet rite aid had it all fixed in 10 min. DO NOT GO HERE! I don’t leave reviews often but this place is horrible!!!!! Do not get your meds here. Do not trust what they say! And by the way corporate could care less so don’t bother contacting them.Update: just talked to the supervisor of CVS AND SHE LAUGHED AT ME! Laughed at me for the stress and the heartache they caused and they think it’s funny

The worst pharmacy I ever have dealt with. They told me my daughter prescription would be ready in 20 minutes. Drive up to the window and was told it had to be order they didn't have it in stock and it would be there next day after 5 pm . I went next day to wait inline and be told it never came . They could called me andcsaved me the trip. Next day same thing I figured I call before showing up I have been on hold for 45 minutes. They are not even that busy . Poor customer service the staff and pharmacist is rude. I end up hanging up because no one ever picked up .I had to call Boyertown pharmacy to get tgem to call Douglassville to see if the drug was in . Completely ridiculous. I definitely not using this pharmacy again.
