Just awesome !!!!!!!Best grilled cheese and tomato and fresh bread. Super friendly and fast service!!! And they even have picnic benches under a shady tree so we can enjoy our sandwiches!!!!This place is so great, too bad there are not more like it !!! 5 stars all the way 😊

Wonderful little spot to stop for gas, grab some fresh sandwiches and drinks while on your way to your final destination! Have never had a sub here that wasn’t fresh and delicious, Boar’s Head meats on fresh Italian rolls! Purchased a beautiful hand painted saw made by a local artist once as well, couldn’t pass it up. Staff is always friendly and store is always clean. Wonderful little gem!

This place has a little bit of everything. The people are extremely friendly and the deli makes great sandwiches. We passed this place in the past but will make it a definite stop by from now on.

very cool place. good prices and helpful staff. they have a hunting section with a good selection of guns and ammo at regular prices. they also sell fishing supplies and other outdoor things. the other section of this store has food and beverages and other things you would find in a gas station. they have gas pumps out front. a very cool find. if your in the area i recommend checking it out and give them your business. i would like to see them stay around for a long time.

I'm not buying 40 dollars in cold cuts if you can't sell me rolls like every other deli. ill just go to sister's deli for now on..... update went today to buy roast beef hero's these were the saddest sandwiches I ever had a slice an a half of meat on the whole sandwich I paid over 9 dollars for, the two young guys cant hang with the red head guy an his partner, an I been going here for 12 years.. it's a shame now I won't be going back.

This place is clean, the employees are friendly and their sandwiches are outstanding. They are made with your taste buds in mind and assembled the exact way to hit everyone. They are also assembled the same exact way. Best part is they only use boarshead products and bring a NY transplant that is extremely important to my family and I. Would definitely recommend and will keep going back there 👍

I have lived over near this store for 9 months and never stopped in assuming it was your typical gas station mart. Boy was I wrong. It is an entire convenience store and a deli that serves boar's Head cold cuts. I have gotten sandwiches from there the last 2 days and they are phenomenal not to mention clean very well tAken care of and the employees are so amazing.

Great find, their deli has daily specials and will custom make sandwiches. I tried the chicken blt yesterday and it was very good. This store is a great stop if you're in need of a lunch out in the country side.

Very friendly employees and the owners aren't just owners. 90% of the time one of them will be making your hoagie or waiting on you. The hoagies are one of the best you can get anywhere, although I shouldn't say that because that means I'll have to wait longer for mine when more people come in for them. Beer, wine, sandwiches, fishing and hunting supplies, guns and gas. How could you go wrong? I stop every chance I get and I'm not a local and I'm not an employee or related, but I do love this general store.

Usually stop here to pick up lunch on way to cabin. Hoagies, subs and sandwiches are excellent. They are huge and the price is right on. All meats and cheeses are sliced specifically for your order. Owners and staff always greet you with a smile and cheerful hello.

It's perfectly fine nice people. There's plenty of stuff to purchase most is a reasonable prices for a gas station. My biggest problem with the place is how they handle gas you have to go inside to pay for it the gas pumps are very ran down and it's very worrying to pump gas from them. They also charge more then other gas stations. They also have problems with cards that take chip. But that is understandable because many places have a hard time in PA. And lord have mercy if you only use apple or Samsung pay or Android pay no one in bushkill PA takes it or knows how to take it if they can.

The Pickerel Inn is a general store located on Rt. 402 in Porter Township, Pike County. You can buy gas, food, beer, guns and ammunition, bait, among other things.The Pickerel makes the best breakfast sandwich! Seriously, we have tried hundreds of breakfast sandwiches on our travels across the country, and none compare to the Pickerel. They also make fresh sandwiches. Currently, our favorite sandwich is the Roast Beef Garlic Melt (fresh roast beef heated with melted mozzarella cheese serviced on "home make" garlic bread hoagie with salt and pepper). It's delicious and HUGE!For those of you who hunt and fish, the Pickerel also has a selection of guns, ammunition, outdoor equipment, fishing rods, live bait, and anything else you could need for those hobbies. When you walk through the sports shop, you'll see mounts that the owner shot. She knows everything about guns and can help you pick out the perfect gear to meet your outdoor sporting needs.The deli and convenience store has everything you could need including but not limited to gifts, school supplies, frozen food, limited fresh produce, camp fire supplies including those needed to make s'mores, and hot coffee. They have enough food staples to make the perfect meal for your friends and family.The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and you can watch the staff make your sandwiches. It's a great place to take a break while on a road trip, during breaks, fill your gas tank, or just to chat with the staff.

It's a camp store atmosphere that has just about everything you could need on a trip out of town. And, if you're hungry, a deli case that has Boars head meats and condiments. They even had my go-to travel candy; Necco Wafers!

Convenient location/ distance from pecks pond. Really nice deli, also has some fishing and hunting supplies. 6 pack shop next door is very convenient as well.

An oasis in the middle of some best hunting and fishing in Pennsylvania. Can find just about anything you could need for those activities. Gas and take out beer also a popular activity here. Allow for a short wait during Hunting and Fishing seasons.

The only place I stop when in Pennsylvania... Ed and the crew are the nicest people... I grab some lunch and enjoy the gravel roads and trails that are nearby.
