Awesome to be able to stop here and grab some necessities instead of driving into town or spending a boatload at Weis. Staff is always friendly and attentive but they are clearly overworked! I feel bad when I’m ready to check out but they are on double duty, stocking the floor while also monitoring the registers. My 5 stars are for the staff at this location because corporate clearly doesn’t care that they have too much on their plate while working in a store where the ceiling has been dripping into buckets for months now.

Why is the manager never present in this building? I’ve had an issue I’ve liked addressed with the manager and no matter what time of day it is she’s impossible to get a hold of. Seems like she’s never present in the building. I’ve asked staff where she is and get told she’s stepped out of the building. Why is the manager gone out of the building for over an hour of the time ?

This store has been in the area for quite a few years now, but recently they upgraded to accommodate fresh produce and more perishable goods. It's still a typical dollar store for the most part, but the options are vast now and convenient for those looking to grab some last minute groceries and maybe a cheap movie for the night on the way home. They have a container for propane tanks, a redbox on the corner for media rentals, and a wide variety of miscellaneous products as well. Very clean store and the staff runs the place smoothly.

They sold me an invalid gift card and refused to refund me when I brought it back with proof. The manager on duty told me to just not buy gift cards there. Also another issue today I was given the wrong cigarettes and didn't realize do to the employee putting them in the bag. Now I'm out money cause they have a rule where once you leave the building you can switch them out or return them. This store is getting out of hand

Overall the store just seemed dirty. Other dollar general stores around our area are definitely cleaner and more organized. I didn't appreciate the employee's smoking right outside the doors so you had to walk through smoke to get inside. I waited in a long line and heard the cashier say she would call for help but she was afraid if she was loud her manager would get mad and she would get in trouble.

Brand new. Opened weeks before Christmas. Its a much needed business in an underserved area.They have a lot of refrigerated and frozen foods which is great, because they serve many people who are receiving food subsidies. I was so excited that I bought a lot of my holiday presents there. They have clothing, housewares, dry goods. Its bright and clean, and the staff is very helpful. They helped me download the Dollar General app to take advantage of weekly sale coupons.

Store itself is pretty good. Decent selection especially considering there's no other grocery stores in dingmans! Mine only complaint about this place is the line!! Normally they have one person maybe 2 at the registers and the line is to the back of the store.

Very good selection of variety of items, no complaints about that, but with so many choices to shop, Customer service should be #1 priority, I simply asked if they had an item and its location, instead of giving me its location, was told it was 3 isles over, If they had it, I never found it, maybe I would have tripped over it, but I never found it, I've worked in retail, and always took delight in showing great customer service, I would have taken the customer to the product, anyway, I did get the item, at another store, so 1 customer may not affect their bottom line, but if enough clients bought elsewhere,it might just add up.

Always a friendly & helpful staff. Clean store & always fully stocked. The one on 739 has a larger choice of holiday stuff as opposed to the DG on route 6, which is more food.

Love it! They have the a great srlection of things, and food,the set up is beautiful, prices are great and you can get things in a pinch without having to go farther or to bigger stores. The staff is available,friendly and helpful too.

The place recently had a redo inside. More groceries and such. Typical Dollar General. The staff was nice and attentive. When the line got about 6 deep they opened another register. Good for what it is.

The young man who works here I believe his name was shawn. Was extremely helpful I locked my keys in the car and he got a coat hanger and was able to unlock my car for me he didn't have to do it but he offered when he seen I was in need the dollar store has a hero and we need more employees like him to help customers like me

Love it for the convenience but no one in the store including the manager , has a lick of sense or customer service skills! Lines piling up, running into people no excuse me, talking to each other while with customers . I would fire and completely rehire everyone. Or try some training

This Dollar general is usually well stocked and pretty organized. Today not so much. Stock in the aisles made it feel pretty congested. Staff is always friendly =)

A well organized and well needed Dollar General. I state well needed because the stretch of road"739" that this Dollar General is not sitting beside can sometimes feel dead, lonely, and haunted during some times of night. during long days, and tiring nights, while making the last moments of a long trek to your bed at the end of a work day your body will remind you that you are starving and long behind most if not all the places on "739" are closed. However not anymore, Dollar General will be a light in the darkness for those late night travelers. That a good enough reason to get 4 stars.

Pretty much the only place to shop locally. This also causes the place to be busier than most other stores of its kind. The lines get a little long sometimes but the place has some good products at affordable prices.

Finally a store on route 739 that accommodates the weekenders. Staying open till 10 is great. Coming up on Friday night we always stop by and pick up our necessities. 👍👍

Very helpful staff. A young guy went out of his way to help me locate what I needed. Visiting a in law and needed cleaning supplies. Can't beat the price.

They where packed out as usual so glad they opened another register. Everyone is always nice and friendly. They have alot of sale items for great prices.

The store looks like someone's house when they're getting ready to move but overall is clean and has a vast selection (clothes, food, make-up, ,households). Usually only 1 register open so plan for that to take some time

Some of the workers at dollar general are UNPROFESSIONAL. They gossip and don't do what they're supposed to do. Every time I come in, they are gossiping at the register or in the aisles about a customer or a worker. I have a relative who is working there currently, but is leaving because they talk about him/her when he/she isn't working to other young workers. ALSO, my relative could not make it to work the other day due to inclement weather (and honestly not worth risking your life to go work at a dead end job) and they crashed on their way to work. His/her manager called him/her asking why he/she wasn't at work, then proceeded to tell them they are not good drivers at all then.Like I said, very UNPROFESSIONAL MANAGEMENT AND GROUP.

You can most likely find what you're looking for here. Convenient and fast. Sales associates were speedy and accommodating. Cleared the line right away once it started to accumulate

Prime location, good selection, friendly staff but every time I go in and I go there almost daily there is oy one register open and the line has at least 5 people in it, it takes you literally 20 minutes just to check out once you get in the line

Hours could be longer but they're understandable. Typically Dollar General and very close to several communities. Good place for a quick stop.

This dollar general location is an asset to this area, which has limited services. That being said, the lines are always very long and the staff, while friendly, is usually short-staffed and sometimes overwhelmed. The selection of food has the basics: milk, eggs, cheese, lunch meat, frozen snacks and lots of dry and canned goods. No fresh fruit or vegetables.
