I originally had some blinkers and a taillight added to my bike, the work done was a little over priced, but not enough to complain about. Then I talk to Jarad about ordering wheels, was told it would take 4 weeks, after 11 weeks of being told that there was a problem with the company that they ordered from I asked for a refund, which after not receiving I had to actually dispute with my bank. After all of this, I called the company he had supposedly ordered the wheels from in the first place to find out that he never placed the original order. I really wanted to like this shop the guys are friendly, but this was definitely not good business!Also, in your response you make it sound like you’ve done something to resolve this situation, where as, I don’t see it that way. All you did is say words that I believe to be lies at this point, while my bank disputing charges is how I will get my money. This goes right back to the beginning, bad business! Trying to claim you fixed something that is still obviously broken.

Read the reviews! Worst mechanic around. Had my bike for months when I was told 3 weeks tops. Charged way more than I was quoted on and the bike still didn’t run right. I would not recommend Jared’s shop to anyone. And no need to comment back “we are sorry you feel that way”.

I had believed otherwise, but the recent experience had put a real bad taste for me. The owner Jared told me three times that the labor of putting fuel injectors in suzuki c50 will be 3 hours job which to me was still a little too much after we delivered injectors last week he finally got the bike ready with the bill of 545 dollars .I paid the bill, but i am not taking any of my bikest to them I will also make sure to spread the word in my circle of friends .I am more disappointed than angry at this point because I like the shop and usually support local businesses.They charged 5 hours labour plus 1 hour of diagnostic ( which wasn't required at all as I told him it's the injectors that need to be replaced at that point he said the max it will be 3 hours labor which was honestly still too much for the job ).The comment I got from the front desk was " Brother, it is an expensive hobby to get into."Thank God I learned my lesson as I was planning to take my 2018 aprilia tuono v4 factory for valve adjustment and my triumph explorer to get the 10k maintenance done .Lesson learned !

Horrible place to take your equipment! Owner will stab you in the back!Owner lies...it was actually 3weeks and he tried to turn me into the county for not trying to pay when my bike wasn't working properly after his care.Stop the lies bud!

Had my bike for 3 months almost all summer long told me that it be done in a week rebuild cards for my bike and to put them on this place is a joke never will I ever recommend anybody to take their bike there there only one person working on the bikes and your Lucky if he even shows up the day to work on it when I got my bike back it still did the same thing as it did whenever I took it there paid $140 for absolutely nothing The bike's still in the same thing it's just crazy feel like they took advantage of meService: Carburetor cleaning

The honest and professional team at south mtn cycle is personable, knowledgeable, and fun. They offer great service and competitive prices. I have been going here for years and never regretted it. I am treated like a valued customer and greeted with great service as soon I walk through the doors. They are extremely knowledgeable on most any motorcycle, not just their own stock. Very low pressure and an all around great atmosphere, and buying experience. I've also had my bike serviced here a couple of times. Turn around time is always reasonable, work is done properly, and they have never damaged my bike. I highly recommend this place if you're in the York Harrisburg area.

Small town shop,friendly atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, they treat you like family here! It's not the closest bike shop to me but in my opinion their level of service and customer care is beyond compare and well worth the trip for me! I've never felt strong armed into buying something I don't need or using them exclusively, the owner is straightforward​ and honest with you and doesn't try to pressure you into a sale or service! I highly recommend stopping in and checking them out!

This is an excellent hometown shop. Jared and Eric really care about their customers and are passionate and involved in power sports. I've been going here since shortly after they opened and haven't had a bad experience yet.Maybe the bad reviewer came in at during a rough day or something or maybe their another rival shop. hahaAwesome place with an awesome staff. You won't be disappointed.

Once the correct parts were sent they did the fork seals and it was ready as promised. Just took too long to get the right parts. Not their fault. Overall very satisfied. Will use them again

Dropped of our bike in May. Engine needed a lower-end rebuild, which takes a while. Then the guy said he'd look for a new engine and didn't hear anything back for a month. We could tell he was pushing us aside. Started getting told it wold take just another week or two. Then another week or two. Then we start getting attitude when checking on the bike. Here we are in September, going on four months later, and it keeps being pushed back. It would have been great to get honesty upfront. We probably would have bought another bike if we knew we'd lose the ENTIRE riding season. But instead, we get lied to from week to week and pushed aside. Not happy at all. Please just give us our bike back.

A lot of money paid on a quad and it still doesn't run, this place is unprofessional and not trustworthy. Half of the pieces are missing from it and there are more issues happening than what I originally took it in for . They refused to even give any paperwork for ANY repairs done or any receipts for any money paid . Already spoke to my lawyer about them though so hopefully this will all be taking care of

They have been helpful and friendly. Their repair work is reasonably priced. Just a group of guys that love motorcycles in their different sizes and brands. I've seen Harley's, dirt bikes, cruiser's, and sport bikes there.

I had first took my bike here with a blown motor. I had put a new piston and rings in it myself before I brought it to them. They then had my bike for 6 months and when i picked it up lol spewed out my overflow, the spokes were bad and wheel bearings were bad. My dad had told them he wanted the bike completely looked over and ready to go when I got it. I then got it home was on my 3rd break in ride when the clutch cover gasket blew and I lost all the oil. So I bought new wheel bearings and gasket and put them in myself. Then took the wheel to the shop to have them put new spokes on it and true the wheel. They then told me my tire and tube were bad when they still held air and I was trying to make it last a little longer before I got a new tire. I finally get time to put a new tire and tube on and come to find out they didn't put the rim lock back in my rim and then they wanted to charge me for shipping for there screw up. I now have the wheel on the bike and now my bike doesn't want to run properly. I've been to 4 different shops and everytime I get screwed. WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO FIND A GOOD RELIABLE SHOP.

First of all, Jared is a super awesome great guy. You can go in there and talk about trails, riding, mountain bikes for an hour or two. I knew I wanted a Beta Xtrainer before I even saw one in front of me, and when Jared let me take a short spin on one at last years Michaux dual sport, I was sold. NO other dealer would let me demo a model so I knew I wanted to buy from SMCS. They aren't the closest to me but I got the best price out the door WITH PA tags and confidence they will help me out anytime with the bike if I need it. The bike has been fantastic.If you fit on one, get one.

2017 month of September. New to the area looked to find a Buell mechanic. Check several places in central pa and one, the one South Mountain Cycle shop in Dillsburg Pa. Spoke to them on the phone and they were very courteous and professional. They Talk the talk and walk it too.
