Dropped off two anxious collies in the morning for total grooming and when I walked thru the door in the afternoon, my collies were happy. Walking toward me from the back, Clair was wagging her tail and Travis had a lot to say to me. I could tell the difference in their attitude. I love to see my dogs interacting with other peaceful dogs...I think they thought it was a party going on.THANKS LADIES FOR YOUR HARD WORK!

I live on the road a lot with work and my fur babe lives with me on the road. My company is based here in Carlisle PA and it's usually last min when i know I'll be coming back to the office. It had been roughly 2 months since "Pepper" had a professional grooming. I checked google reviews found this place and based my judgment to take him here off of that. Best decision I made! Pepper has Cushions disease which is an Adrenaline disorder that causes him to have high anxiety. I spoke with Denise on the phone to see if he could be seen today as I am usually only in town for a day. They were booked solid. I told her my situation and she managed to squeeze me in! So thankful! Now pepper doesn't like being away from me he is a momma's boy and in turn causes his anxiety to get a little unstable. I dropped him off and in under 2 hours they were done! Amanda his groomer took very good tender care of him. I got there a little early and she was finishing up with pepper. As i sat there waiting i could here Amanda talking to him in a very sweet and loving voice saying it was ok that she was almost done...what a good boy he was. Made my heart melt. She did an excellent job grooming him and gave him the extra attention he needed due to his Cushions. I will furever be appreciative of the job Amanda did and the care they gave him. It's been a few day's now and pepper still smells and feels clean. Very happy mom and dog to say the least.

Amanda was very quick, clean, and professional. She knew exactly what to do and what I wanted, just explaining it to her. She got out the matted area without leaving a bald spot on my long haired cat. I will definitely be coming back when Fluffy needs another salon day. Thank you!!

Yesterday we took our elderly, blind, deaf, scruffy, matted rescue to be cleaned up and she returned to us with a bounce in her step! Amanda appears to have shaved off years from our sweetie along with tangles! Bailey has even been more playful than she’s been in years. Will definitely return and highly recommend!

I have a very difficult welsh corgi who will not let me near her paws to trim her nails… but every time I bring her here they do a wonderful job with her. No one else has been able to get my girl to cooperate long enough to get her trimmed. They always take the time to make sure that she is comfortable before handling her and she doesn’t make it easy. I highly recommend Hound Haven, it is the only place I will take my dog.

Mother and daughter team are fantastic. once they took me in for nail trimming after they had locked up for the day! my two wiener dogs are anxious and do not play well with others. They have always been great there. plus the price is affordable. been there at least 5-7 times.

Our Chester is a very anxious and hairy golden retriever. They are so patient with him and do a wonderful job bathing, trimming etc. Highly recommend!

Brought my 12 year old Golden there for a spa day. Nails clipped, bath and hair trimmed. Minus her rear having to be cut lower than expected because of mats and knots (my fault for not keeping up on the brushing) she looks beautiful as always. We’ve been here multiple times with our two other Goldens as well.

This place is absolutely terrific. We have taken our dogs here for 4 years now. they're fantastic, professional, very personable, have great dogs themselves to keep our dogs company while they wait. They're always on time and they are currently open by appointment in the era of covid-19.

I brought my bunny in to get his nails trimmed. Out of frustration one of the employees picked my bunny up by the neck. Not sure if my bunny is having an emotional reaction or if he has been injured. The way he was picked up by the neck I feel it may be an injury. Bunny hasn't been doing well since I brought him home. It's been 19 hours he's been hiding in a corner barely moving and barely eating. They should have been honest enough to say they couldn't handle a bunny instead of injuring my bunny for a few dollars. Their website even says they won't bring harm to pets I would have thought it would be obvious not to pick a bunny up by his neck.In response to their relpy:My bunny isn't suffering from getting his nails clipped but from being grabbed up by the neck. What happened happened has nothing to do whith how much my bunny is held, some bunnies don't like to be picked up. I came to this place because I expected there to be people there that could properly handle a bunny no matter what the situation. Fyi a bunny could die from being picked up by the neck . Again if they couldn't hadle this with out injuring my bunny they sould have turned down doing business with me. If there's anything I have learned over the years is that businesses ONLY care about money not their employees or customers or other peoples pets.Also he didn't jump up and then was grabbed by the neck. The employee grabbed him by the neck and hoisted him up. Not acceptable.Trying to place the blame on me for them not handling the situation properly also not acceptable. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
