On my way to my next destination, I needed to purchase numbers for my trailer. It was early in the morning, and I was able to park along the street and walk back to the store. A very happy young lady greeted me and directed me to the isle to get the numbers. This was a very quick visit that valued my time, convenience, and budget. Ace to the re$cue!

I'v gone to this location multiple times 25% of the time, service is okay. 75% of the time, not so friendly. They don't care to help and it's like they don't care for your business. This Ace is not the place for me.

Supposedly, they repair lawn mowers and sharpen blades (I had previously been told they don't do saws, etc.). So, I called and asked about tuning up a push mower and sharpening the blade. Here is the "friendly" response I received: "Yeah, I don't work on 'em."

I have bought several chain saws at this store trying to support a local small town business. I've purchased 3 saws over the years from this store spending over $1500. I took my chain saw in to have it serviced because it was hard to start and I broke the pull trying to start it. I was told that the part was hard to get from stihl and that it would cost me $188 dollars to have it repaired. I use the saw minimally and it was only 2-3 years old. So I thought better to buy a new saw. $485 later i found the part on Amazon for $25 and am now told to tune it cost me $60. A far cry from the $475 I spent to replace the saw . They wouldn't even offer to do the tune up for free. Next time I'll do my shopping at Lowes.

I ordered a Toro snow blower from Dan back in December. He was super nice and agreed to assemble it for me at no charge. The other day I received a call from him to inform me that it came in and was ready for pick up. Dan did exactly as he said he would and even went above and beyond to make this customer happy. Nowadays good customer service is hard to find, but not at the Ace store in Dillsburg. A GREAT first experience here assures I will be back again. Thank you sir!

Fantastic local hardware store. Great selection and assortment of commonly-needed hardware items. Very friendly staff always happy to help find what you need, consult on your project, and ready to order (with delivery within a couple days) any items not in stock. So happy to support a local store vs. an impersonal national 'big box' chain 20 minutes drive away... If only they had space to carry lumber they'd be a perfect one-stop-shop.

Called in hour before closing called 3 times.Told son in law lets just drive in.No surprise they are open, I said to the young man how many times i called, i said let me try the number here maybe i called wrong number,Well to are surprise the the phone up front rang the lady I cant say working looked at phone an left it ring. I walked up and said the phone is ringing, she then realizes i am on my phone. So if you call and that lady is just standing there doing nothing..no one being rang out or asking questions will not answer phone just looks at it.This was Sunday between 4 and 430. Young man was nice, lady not worth getting paid to watch phone ring

I've never had a bad experience here. The staff are always helpful in finding what we are looking for, and they have a surprisingly large inventory of products in stock. I definitely encourage others to shop here when possible, it's important to support local businesses!

I really like that Ace Dillsburg is dog-friendly. The team all like when customers bring in their dogs and 'treats' are always available. Despite being fairly small, it has a surprisingly good inventory. My go to for home improvement vs. 30 min drive to the big box store.

This store has the worst customer service, ever. High prices and a cramped unfriendly atmosphere. I hate this store and will never go back to shop there again!!!

Never again! This ACE AIN'T the place for the helpful hardware folks! We just moved nearby, so I've been there 4 times for moving in items. Every time there is an issue! 3 times of can't get ACE card or cash register to work--it always takes forever to check out. Once, everyone stands there ignoring my need for help. Once, employee glaring at me--why so intimidating? Then, they send multiple coupons (1 so id come back because of the difficulties), but though they don't say it, I can never use it because of unwritten rules like no sale items or other exclusions. I'll drive to East Berlin--they're helpful and nice there.

The employees that who work here are extremely nice, and helpful. Everyone seemed to enjoy their job, I even overheard one young girl talking about an upcoming meeting the had, and was looking forward to it. That's always a plus. 4 stars bc knowledge of products, uses, and having in stock (limited). I purchased adhesive , only 2 left in stock, of a brand that was ok, as they were out of the actual product I needed and weren't sure of what to suggest. Overall,.. pretty good local hardware store.

As a disabled veteran, some stores are a nightmare for me, but the staff here went above and WELL beyond to assist me in fixing my wheelchair, but finding the right combination of nuts and bolts to secure the backrest. I wholeheartedly recommend this store for any and all your hardware needs. I would give them 7 stars, but 5 is the max.

I have always loved this Ace in Dillsburg over the years it has been there for my household needs. I will say Celeste has helped me on numerous occasions. She is the best associate there by far. There is a very heavy set associate there that almost ruins my experience he doesn't smile, acknowledge my presence or make eye contact. He is of no help ever and always asks his coworkers to help him with the smallest of tasks. Oh well glad he's not the only one....just standing in the same place while never doing anything productive.

Best yet. This salesman took 25 mins to help me find a plumbing part. I had given up but he persisted and found what fittings I needed. He took me to the check out and paid for the fittings with his own money. He said he had to cause he took so much of my time?? That was not necessary but it did blow me away.
