At 1st glance, looks dated outside but very clean, no trash anywhere. The room Was very modern and super clean. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of parking. Careful some pot holes! Restaurant attached I did not visit. But I did go to Dunkin, which shares the parking lot. And the highlight was the shower water pressure OMG it was amazing. Made for a good night's sleep. I stayed from 12/26/23 to 12/29/23 . The front desk, housekeeping and the snack bar staff are all friendly. The pool is cool but very clean, My room and bathroom were clean. The location is perfect. Security cameras and key cards are used throughout the premises. I will be staying here again,

I’ve recently started going to this hotel and I love it.. The manager Nia is awesome. She’s very nice and friendly and make sure the guest are good.. I will be returning again.. The rooms are nice.. I love the fact they have a bar on the property and you can buy food as well..You can listen to music as well..it’s very relaxing at this hotel.. Also Dunkin Donuts is next door..Very nice indoor pool and exercise room..

Overpriced older hotel abandoned by Choice hotel chain, with adequate accomodations if your not looking for anything special. Tried using my Firestick with no luck, very limited channel selection. If winter bring a snow blower or shovel very limited snow removal no salt layers dropped on sidewalk and it was not shoveled. None of this bothers me I am an outside worker, price over the top ridiculous. No coffee no breakfast!Rooms: Clean and basic will drive past next year.

There are no real choices in DWG, so it is this or nothing. The $134 price is about double what it is worth. The room was ok but the walls are thin so you hear TVs blaring. For this kind of money, they should at a minumum provide breakfast. No breakfast, no coffee. The worst part of my stay was the so called bar and grille. I was shocked that the "menu" had only a few appetizers. I ordered two slices of pizza. They brought them out on a paper plate. The employee asked me if they were cooked enough. They were barely warm. So incredibly, he picked up a slice with his bare hand and carried it into the kitchen for more nuking. Disgusting.

The room and service were great. There was only one issue that I could think of.Upon check-in, I was blindsided with a $50 "security deposit" "in case you have a fight and throw the TV out the window or something." They promised it would be refunded as long as there was no damage to the room after I check out.I called a day after check out to ask when that would be refunded. They told me it was already refunded, but could take up to 3 days to show up in my bank account. I'll have to trust their word on that for now.As I said, the room was great, I just think it's very shifty that they don't mention the extra charge anywhere on their online listings or check-in instructions. Wait until people are there in person and can't change their plans before you blindside them with that. Classy.

Only needed a room for a few hours to take a nap. The man at the front desk was the owner and he was very nice and didn't charge me the full rate even tho I was ready to pay the full price he still gave me a break even tho this isn't a short stay motel. The room was nice everything worked the bed was comfortable. I see alot of complaints on here but this wasn't my experience. They have an indoor pool and workout room. And it was pretty quiet. Thank you again for the room rate.

Me and my family stayed her in 2019. And we love it cause it wasn’t too many people. My kids rode there hoverboard to there rooms and out. It not like a fancy hotel but the room is clean and kind of old fashioned. Our tv wasn’t working so they gave us a whole new Tv. There’s a Dunkin’ donut shop connected to the hotel. The rooms is not modern rooms . The pool was always clean . And not expensive. So we going again and super excited.

Right there at the Delaware water gap itself! I remember this place from over 30 years ago when it was the Howard Johnsons and it was pretty rundown then. Definitely brought back some nostalgic memories.People are complaining it’s not a good place to stay. It’s like $69 a night, looks like it’s been abandoned for 50 years and you can smell the must from a mile away. Of course it’s not a good place to stay, duh!What is really shocking is that people are actually staying there!

Stayed here for one night. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a small balcony with a view of the parking lot and not much else. The bathroom was also clean with towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, and soap (very drying though, better to use your own). Cable TV was available along with a refrigerator and microwave. There was no coffee machine in the room. We had to go to the lobby for coffee and tea but it tasted terrible. Also, they offer a breakfast buffet for $6.99 but the only thing they have is scrambled eggs, bacon, and rock hard pancakes or waffles. I recommend going out to eat instead. Lastly, we had no problems checking in and the staff was courteous.

I don’t even think they clean the rooms or changes the bed, the shower have a lot or hair, the carpet was dirty and dusty. We have a leak in the shower all night, we can’t sleep with the noise. Don’t wait to much of the free breakfast. I understand they are under construction, and that’s what they need, update the entire hotel. The staff was so helpful, the lady in the front desk was so polite, the only good thing in the place.

It's an older Hotel. However the owners are making Renovations a priority. There's new carpeting, new tile in the bathroom, new fixtures, new furniture. The beds are comfortable, the pillows are comfortable - it fits exactly what you need out of a hotel. It's also clear that customer service is important to the owner /manager. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences with all of the staff. Because they're making renovations, it looks dirty in several places however the rooms themselves are nice. I absolutely recommend staying here if you're in town - it is an affordable and nice place to be.

So, if I could make it less than 1 star I would. Stayed here only 1 night. First off the place looks run down. No maintenance on the landscaping and paint is chipping (this alone should have deterred me from staying here.) The hallways had spider webs, and the ceiling titles had leaks and mold. Carpet was dingy. The first room we got had a broken sliding glass door. The second room ac unit you can't adjust the temperature. The TV was black and white, no color. There was dead bugs in that room. No refrigerator. Now here's the kicker I paid 97 dollars for 1 night. Not worth that price. No breakfast, smells bad. DO NOT GO THERE. Spend the extra 10 dollars and go up the road to Days Inn and get a way better room.

This place was horrible. I have nothing good to say about it. It looked abandoned. TV didnt work. We called the front desk twice to fix it and they literally never came. Refrigerator gave out and our food went bad in it. Ice machine at the end of the hall didnt work. One of the lamps next to the bed electrocuted us. The shower head sprayed out in every direction to the point that the floor was getting wet. The laundry room looks like a setup to get killed in. I don't care what price this place is, it's not worth it. Don't do it.

Stayed at this motel on August 1st, it was totally disgusting. For one thing the bedding was so stained and not clean. Also bathroom no bathmat, towels were so stained, tub was dirty. I would like to know how they are getting away with linens being stained like they were along with their pillow were so flat and filthy. I worked in motel for years as a housekeeping manager and we got inspected.The laws were strict no stains on anything etc. This motel needs to be shut down. Along with I think they have quite a few people that live there. It sure was not worth the money neither. Frig also dirty.

Was a very nice and clean place. Was just a regular room and for a good price. Staff was very friendly. No problems. I would recommend to anyone who doesn't want to pay too much for a room and who doesnt want anything other than a bed and the basics.

The room was horrible, dirty and stinky. the man on the front desk was rude and sold us one room wrong. before i got there, I called him and asked if there were any available rooms. I told him that I needed one room with a king size bed and one room with double queen beds. Then when he sold us the rooms incorrectly, he blamed me that I had misexplained it to him, even though I have three witnesses who confirmed it to him. Also in the room I found a dirty bath and a sink with ants. there were cockroaches on the ceiling and my husband was tired, but he was still running around killing these cockroaches. it was a horrible night

This review is simply based off of walking in the lobby, walking around the building to the laundry room and using the laundry room. We did NOT stay here. The building is completely run down and the laundry room is absolutely disgusting. Despite it being disgusting.. as AT hikers we have no choice, but to use the facilities to wash our clothes. Kudos to them though for allowing us to use their laundry room knowing that we didn't book a room. However, their generosity doesn't change the fact that I feel like I'm in a horror movie. Get me out of here.

First impressions are everything and I initially drove past this motel because I thought it was abandoned. Overall, I decided I would rather drive 3 hours back home at night than stay in this motel.Overall it's just not clean, from the room, bathrooms, laundry room, exterior, lobby, and courtyard(pictured). The building looks like it undergoing renovations which is great but my room was not renovated and was not something I was too comfortable sleeping in.

READ BEFORE RESERVATIONS☹😢😭😨Not good place to stay. I had reservation for 3 nights in thia place . When I reached the inn they offered me a room. Till now it was good. Now the fun part begins. I opened the door and noticed a nice clean and clear room with no refrigerator and microwave and the AC was not working We tried to call them using desk phone and it didn't work. So went to the recipient and saw they are temporary unavailable and we have waited 15 min .So this is reapply painful after long drive when you are looking for rest.In the same night we saw there was no hair dryer in the bathroom. So went to all the way to the reception and got it .2 nd day they provide a mini refrigerator and I didn't get any microwave till the checkout. And they only did just trash removal not the whole housekeeping like changing bedsheets .I should mention they don't have any breakfast. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. This is hands down the worst, most disgusting, horror-movie inducing hotel that I have ever had the "privilege" of staying at. Moldy smells, unclean everything, and the most clueless/careless staff that you can find. Sliding doors do not lock, and twice guests tried to enter MY room claiming it was THEIRS. I have a sneaking suspicion that there are only 2-3 rentable rooms in the whole building. The lower rooms are all closed off and growing mold and mildew. The "bar" has been closed for what looks like a decade. Bags over smoke detectors, silly string all over the ceiling, black mold in bathtub, and an envelope with "tips" written in crayon scotch taped to the mirror for good measure. The sliding door to your room cannot be secured or locked, and the front lock is useless if 2 guests can access my room with their key. Manager is rude and unyielding with rates/refunds. I repeat: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. State of PA should investigate and level the whole place with a wrecking ball.

DO NOT stay here!!! There are plenty of hotels in Stroudsburg in the same price range!! First bad thing, it was obvious that they use the same room keys over and over, first no, no. On entering the building you are blasted with the musty smell of mold! The first floor was inaccessible which we found odd. The room is moderately sized. Carpet is extremely old. Old school TV, unlike most hotels which have gone to flat screens. The bathroom was absolutely filthy!!! I would not make my worse enemy shower there. I took pictures of the tub! I wanted to leave but was afraid I would lose my money, but it may have been worth it. The sample toiletries were laid out on the vanity top and some of them were half used!!! Gross!The bed was as hard as a rock! When leaving the next day we saw why the first floor was cut off (We had arrived when it was already dark). The whole lower level was all boarded up and it was obvious that there had been a very major flood there and they lost the first floor! You could see the mold on the painted over walls. I do not know how this place is not condemned! Such a poor decision to stay there. Please do not make that mistake!

I rated 3 stars only because this place is a little shabby and old. But people who work there are nice and super friendly. Hotel location is very good, considering that Delawer water gap information center is 5 minutes by walk. Also there is park area nearby and gas station where you can buy snacks and water. 15 minutes from the hotel you can find good places to eat - outdoor kitchen or cafe inside.Also they have balcony where you can enjoy coffee in the morning and get fresh air along the day.They also have breakfast , which is not that big, but still coffee is okay and toasted cream cheese bagels are yummy.And they permitted us to stay longer for the check out which was very important for us.We gonna visit this place again.And I hope that after construction this place will be more attractive and nice.Thank you!

Paid 50$ for a room, they are under construction so it's kinda a mess there but hey we just wanted to snowboard the next day didn't really care what the place looked like, staff was awesome breakfast was bagels coffee oatmeal good enough for me. Was told the redo will be done in February so we will be back then hope the bars open at that point.
