Every time I come here to buy meats and produce, the chicken is always rotten. It only started a few months ago, as I come here often to buy food since the location is convenient. For those that don't know, rotten meat will have a weird, funky smell, like rotten eggs or sweaty gym socks. The produce is also heading this way as well. Bought potatoes. Every single one is green. Green potatoes are poisonous, so don't eat them! Waste of $10. Employees are friendly enough, nothing on them, it's just the food quality is awful. I'm not saving anything if I'm wasting money on rotten meat and bad vegetables.

It's convenient bc it's close by and open late and will more than likely have what you are looking for.You will probably carry a baby to term if you get pregnant in line because there is ONLY EVER ONE LINE.Product placement in this location can be very weird. Additionally, it has a weird smell inside the store... Always.I stopped buying "fresh" meats from this store because it always made my tummy turn. At best you can buy prepackaged bacon and sausage.Another bittersweet experience is they have Nathan's French fries! But they are almost $5/bag!!!Also, the employees can be strange at times. Patience goes a long way.

Went to shop for breakfast food on Christmas Eve. Sausages are brown freezer door was broken where they keep the eggs. A lot of things made me skeptical I will stick to Shoprite!

I am so SICK of this lady named Jari, this lady tried to scam my daughter for 3 dollars and had the nerve to tell her she wasn't allowed to return something. She throws my things in the cart constantly and is plain out DISRESPECTFUL. How do any of you allow this woman to continue to work here. Today the kind man behind her paid the 3 dollars, I check the receipt when she got home and there was no 3 dollars owed. So she basically tried to scam a child and stole from a man. It's sick how they treat people in this store. Don't waste your money here, they over charge anyway...giant and big name brand stores have better deals. SMH

Sadly it’s the only market in walking distance to my home. But it’s just not worth the hassle. Some workers are amazing . But tonight events were a little too much. Completely out of control.

This place should be reported. Not wheelchair accessible at all. They lock their gates to protect their carts, and if you are using a wheelchair or rollater, you have to sit in the parking lot until someone is nice enough to walk in and ask usually the only cashier available to unlock the gate in order for you to enter and shop (after) she clears her long line. Upon leaving, you have to wait for the cashier again. This specific location is so hellbent on protecting their carts that they forgot to protect the disabled or special needs customers who keeps that shack in business. I would definitely choose a save a lot at a different location if I were you!

The store itself it's okay, I gues... Prices are "okay", not very fresh products but it's expected lol. SOME of the employees are extremely rude and ignorant, like the black girl at the cashier today. she needs to be fired and taught some basic manners in order to work face to public. Just disgusting!

Always smells like spoiled meat. The Cashiers are super friendly though. Prices to high compared to other local grocery stores. Shelves always stocked, but bruised meats.

Well it's a save a lot it's not like you're a big big supermarket but it's also not like you are corner store so it's sort of in between you cannot find help in the aisles to show you where things are. And the place is pretty much disarray, however the prices are good and the selections are great the store could use a good scrub in but that's what you expect from a save a lot. I guess they are service dog friendly and I would recommend them

Prices are good on certain things don't buy your meats there I think you know why.and what I mean by that is the color on the raw chicken is off and the raw hamburger and some of the steaks the color is a little to pink in color.The 🍌 s don't last more than 2 days before they turn black in Color and the bagged lettuce or romaine check the bags real good before you buy them you'll thank me

Better than I expected. I'd heard so many awful things about Save a lot but I decided to give them a try since it's closer to where I just moved to. Lots of variety at this store, especially in the meat and produce sections. The store was organized, clean and had a good staff. Not a lot of organic stuff like Aldis though.

If you have a stroller get ready to lift that thing up just to enter and get ready to lift it up again to exit the gate it always closed. Maybe to prevent stealing of carts but it's a huge inconvenience when you are trying to shop with small children because you have to lift the stroller over the gate

Although the store was fairly clean some of the meat product didn't look to good. I'm some cases you can tell the meat has been thawed and re frozen. Some items was not label properly for pricing and fruit looked old.

Low prices on name brands.Store brand foods close to name brand quality.Produce is fair, gets picked over quickly.Staff is always courteous and friendly.Always get a parking spot and functioning shopping cart.Don't like the new pole barriers around the store; makes it difficult to carry groceries to car, especially if you're handicapped.

Around 4pm today, this store had a sign for the wrong item being advertised. The items name was too small to be read and I picked up the item thinking I got a bargain. When I was getting ready to play for two bags of onion for two dollars, the cashier told me the items are $4.99/two bags. I tried to explain to her about the sign, and she directed me to talk to the manager. This bold-blues-shirted man was cruel to me. He kept telling me I read the wrong item instead of admitting that he had wrong item being advertised. The place is dirty and items looked like rotten. There is something about the place that is unwelcome. The only reason I got in there was to get cash back. Will never go back there and if you don't encounter with this kind of cruelity, don't shop this filthy place!!

First visit. Didn't know a bit of the floor. Kept getting discombobulated. Looking for Wendsleydale cheese, found myself looking at mops. Had to keep going back to places trying to hurry. Neighbor goes there for steaks. I buy burgers.

Good food, good price. Sav a lot has saved me lots of money. They have burgers, turkey burgers, sausages, wheat, white, and potato bread, generic cereal for discount. Sales on their meats almost daily. Prices sometimes goes up but they're convenient.

We have shopped all over Philly for Cheese in a Can for my Block Party/Lancaster Ave Jazz Festival, and this Upper Darby Save A Lot was The Only Store that stocked it. My BallPark Franks were a hit! Thank guys!!!

Been here one time. 06/24/2018 at 10:12pm. There was an older lady working with short hair and glasses. Kept complaining about how she wasn't supposed to be working and that she was going to miss her bus. At The same time snatching the food I bought from my hand to ring it up while throwing two bags at it while it was on the belt. Hopefully the customer service isn't like this on a daily basis.😡

Wow they moved things around the store and they did a great job. Store Price's are higher than usual but- thats everywhere these day's. Save A Lot is worth the trip,you alway save a lot.

IChristmas eve I bought all my food in this particular Save A lot and the prices are very different from the register. I went last nite and I was watching the cashier and yes she put extra stuff I different stuff I didn’t have like more than one item of what I have but, it wasn’t one extra item it was other stuff and I approach her and she only took one item out. She got mad at me. When I confronted her. WHATCH YOUR RECEIPTS AT THE DARBY SAVE ALOT. AND THE PRICES ARE DIFFERENT AT THE REGISTER. SHAME ON YOU SAVE ALOT👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Workers are unprofessional they answer the put you on hold without telling you to hold on which is why the line is busy most of the time, their prices are going up but good customer service is declining. Use to be a great place to eat but not no more.

I just moved around the corner from this store and i have been there a few times. I usually have a plesant experience but today this one worker who was an Asian male came up to me with my children and proceeded to talk very rudely to me. Then he went and told the cashier what to charge me for my products... I have never had an experience like that before... I cant say he is racist because they have black people that work there but he was something and welcoming is the furthest thing from it. If i didnt need the food because i had to go to work i would of left it all there and went one of the other thousands of markets that i passed by today. He definitely didnt have respect for all and he definitely didnt practice the 4Ds
