First time at a Best Western. Pleasantly surprised. Clean room and a comfy bed at an awesome price point. (<$100) On par with other chains I've been to in the past couple years. Minor drawbacks was a slow tub drain and a weak remote. Breakfast area is small, but it works. It's on my list for future stays.Safety: Location seems fairly safe and secure.

This was an amazing stay. I didn't stay here, but I wanted to leave a review based on experiencing some unexpected level of great customer service.Stopped at the gas station down the road before work, and I locked the keys in my car while it was running. 🤦‍♂️ I was able to get the top of the door open, but didn't have anything to put through and hit the lock or window button. I called Best Western Danville and asked if they had a metal hanger. The front desk representative, Mary, put me on hold and verified they had one.My day would've ended much more worse than it started had it not been for her kindness and generosity. A great example of customer service, even if you're not a customer.Thanks, Mary!!

The service was fantastic!! The staff was pleasant and more than accommodating. We showed up late due to weather preventing us from continuing our drive and the women at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was still hot even though we didn’t get there until it was almost over. I would definitely stay there again if when we travel this way!!!

I was looking for a budget friendly hotel to spend the night on my way back from vacation to break up the drive. I had very low expectations since my experience with this hotel chain in the past have been awful. BUT...This hotel Is clean. It's modern. It has hot water to shower! The beds were comfortable! *yes the beds are high, so that might be an issue for some people, but not for us.Check in and check out were easy. The people at the front desk were friendly and polite. The ice and snack machines worked perfectly. The hotel felt safe. Breakfast options were awesome! You had some hot options like sausage or potatoes. Then you had 3 choices of cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagel, muffins, oatmeal, make your own waffle. They had toppings of various jellies and syrup. You could have orange or apple juice. What more could you possibly want for breakfast? No reason you wouldn't leave full.The only minor thing was that the pool is closed. It didn't mention that on the website. My son was a little disappointed because we picked this hotel based on the fact that it had an indoor pool. But, we were only staying one night and didn't have much time to swim anyway so it wasn't a deal breaker, but if we were staying longer, it would have been a bigger disappointment. Overall, great experience.

We book through a 3rd party for credit card points. We get 10x points on hotels and it's very important for us to use that l because we travel a lot and can use the points to travel more. We are traveling to Danville for my husband's hospital appointments. That is all.(1st time) After booking a king size bed, we showed up and were informed that we are in a room with a queen. I explained that we booked a king and would like the room we paid for. She tried to argue with us, saying that 3rd party bookings don't indicate what kind of room you paid for. This is an issue between Best Western and Capital One, not our fault. We shouldn't be penalized for taking a deal that is offered through that partnership. She called a manager and the manager placed us in the correct room.(2nd time) Same booking, new desk representative. This time they put us in a room with two full size beds. He said we could not get the room changed to a king. We explained that they were able to change it last time and the manager was able to help us. He fought with us and said he couldn't do anything as it wasn't his problem and we shouldn't book through a third party anymore. We told him he should call for a manager. He walked out of the room for a few minutes and said that his manager isn't available. We aren't going to rearrange how we book hotels just because there is a booking problem between Best Western and Capital One. He said he could give us the king bed room IF we pay more. We ended up taking the room with the two fulls, which is less than what we paid for!We will not be returning to this location. There are other hotels nearby.

Very clean, quiet, comfortable hotel adjacent to I-80. The hotel lobby area and hallways were spotless as was our room. The 2 double beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels, everything in the room operated perfectly. Entrance to room is through main lobby. Only thing that stopped me from giving the hotel 5 stars is the breakfast bar closing at 9am. We got to the breakfast nook at 9:15 and everything was already put away. There is a McDonald's right across from the hotel. There are several good dining choices in nearby Danville.

Hi originally my bf’s dad called/ paid for a room with two separate beds. Once we arrived we were told the reservation changed to a one bedroom. It became concerning without any concrete explanation. As we did check out our room, I inspected the whole room/ bathroom/windows , etc. I found red gummies under the bed. Took pictures for proof. The bathroom was fine. No dust was found. But when I checked the bedding, I found several stains on the top sheet, bottom sheet and under the first mattress ; which is the bottom skirt sheet. Again took pictures. Pictures were of random hairs/ dead skin cells and more. Very disappointing. I spoke to a man ( Matthew) at the front desk. Matthew did see all pictures I took from my iPhone to show visual evidence. He was very nice about it, surprised but wasn’t sure what to do for the situation at first. He offered to change the sheets since “no housekeeping” was available. But I decided to change the sheets myself, pillow cases as well because you never now. Especially after finding “FOOD” left in the room from who knows when?! The new sheets were “okay” because I found a big “yellow spot” on the lower part of the fitted sheet. Hopefully it wasn’t pee?! So once the sheets were changed, etc. We were told to call down for Matthew from the front desk to get the “dirty sheets;” which was the first set of sheets were given to us. THE TWO PHONES WEREN’T WORKING!!!!! I walked down & spoke with Matthew, he was surprised again. He asked both my bf & I if we’re going to use the phones?! Um why ask?! The phones in the room is part of the price of the hotel RIGHT?! Still at this point Matthew or anyone from the from front desk didn’t offer a discount for the uncomfortable incidents this particular hotel caused mine and my bf’s stay. We were told maintenance were to check out the phones TODAY! After the night we stay there. Not excellent service. Not 100% quality customer care I’ve experienced that this Best Western hotel located in Danville, across from Red Roof Inn. I will not be going back there again. PS- AND THE POOL?! STILL CLOSED. Not worth your money!!! My bf’s dad paid about $300 for a one night stay for my bf & I. NOT WORTH YOUR MONEY! Save your money on groceries at this point.Nearby activities: Bloomsburg fair weekend.

Around 11pm our air conditioning stopped working. We had 4 people in our room so we needed air circulation. I called the front desk and was told by the women working she was not a mechanic. I asked her if something can be done and she said I can come look at it but I'm not a mechanic. I asked her my other options and she said she could move me. With it being close to 11 pm and having two kids with me who couldn't sleep because they were hot, I said ok. She then called back and said she can move us but I would have to pay for another room. This was not an acceptable option to me. She said I can wait for the guy to come in around 11 and them they could move us. Around 11:25 she called back and said we could move across the hall. She was completely rude and actually hung up on me both times i spoke to her on the phone. We moved all of our stuff across the hall to find another non working air conditioner. We then were moved to the 3rd floor (the elevator now just broke) so we lugged all our stuff up the steps and finally got to lay down after midnight. I have NEVER been treated so poorly at any hotel ever and we travel a lot for sports. I reported this in the morning and was told she would be written up but there was absolutely no offer of even the smallest compensation for the trouble I had all out of my hands and control.

Stayed overnight after picking up our new pet. Ko occasion was nice and quiet and the main lobby was very welcoming. Staff were very helpful and nice. The website stated that the rooms either had a king sized bed or two queens. There are NO queen size beds in this hotel, which was also confirmed by the front desk. I recommended to get that info changed on the site to prevent any frustration from customers expecting a queen sized bed. We didn't mind and they were comfortable enough. All rooms had the card keys and you would need it to also get in the building, so safety was no issue. They are pet friendly and we didn't hear any other pets even though we knew they were some. I was glad that the walls weren't paper thin. Breakfast was great! Overall, we had a great stay.

I have stayed there twice. First time I was charged for an extra night, but when I showed what was wrong it was fixed. Second time I was charged for smoking in the room. I spilled tobacco in the bathroom. I did not smoke. Then Karen told me I had candles and so I will be charged the 250 smoking cleaning fee. I Never agreed to not have candles! I was making a romantic evening.. responsibly. KAREN will find any attempt to over charge you. It has happened twice in a row to me. She is a True Karen, and nobody likes girls like her, especially if she has your credit card information. Go Anywhere else.

Great location for a quick stay. The service is top notch, both in person and over the phone. The front staff remembered me from our phone conversation the night prior. You can barely hear your neighbors (e.g. there was a baby next door and I did not hear a single noise while in the toom), the rooms are clean, the shower water pressure is phenomenal (especially after a long day), the bathroom has good fans to offer privacy, and the area is quiet despite being right off the interstate. The beds are semi-comfortable for hotel standards. They also offer breakfast and have a pool, if you were interested. Most importantly for travelers, they have good coffee!

I highly recommend this hotel!! My elderly parents stayed here for a week, and the staff was so accommodating…from helping my parents get their mobility accessible room to helping them get their breakfast every morning. The front desk and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel room as spacious and clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Stay here if you are visiting Danville :)

The room was very spacious and clean!! The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower had the best pressure that we’ve ever had while traveling, and the water temperature was fantastic! The breakfast was good, the breakfast area was a little small. Will definitely stay at this location again. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Nicely run ! Keep up the great work! Thanks 😊

First thing I did not care for was how my fiancé and I made a reservation and confirmed the price and when we got there we were told the price had went up by 80 dollars? Then we were told we would get two queen beds and the room only had two doubles sorry but not a enough room for two normal size adults to sleep! Also pillows were extremely flat and they gave us 1 pillow each ? The people upstairs were definitely having a party the walls are so thin we could hear the people next to us had their exhaust fan running all night.. it’s sad we had very high expectations for this place by the 4 star rating but I’m thinking a lot of them were fake because I stay in hotels for travel and this was the worse than the experience I’ve had in almost 6 months. The only thing I can say good about this place is it looked nice, that’s about it but looks are deceiving i guess.

This hotel needs to be upgraded. The rooms are small and dingy. The beds are VERY small for two people. The room was clean, but there was an odor throughout the hotel. Nobody came to clean up our room (they were still on the hall when we left for the day). Half of the rooms that our team stayed in did not have a refrigerator or microwave. Why do only some rooms have one or both of these items if you are all paying the same amount? The breakfast was okay, but there is not enough seating if the hotel is busy at all. I expected a MUCH nicer hotel for $199 per night.

Bed and room was adequate and cleanly enough to achieve 3 to 4 stars, but... the drain in the shower didn't drain at all so we needed to wait 15 minutes between each, with 4 people and the vending machines for drinks were perpetually finicky. Breakfast was standard, they do offer egg sandwiches on request which was a welcome addition to a typical continental breakfast. Coffee was worse than Wendy's though. Maybe Folgers is just not for me or not meant to drink black.

Stopped over on our way to NYC. This BW is fine and I would definitely stay here again. Check-in staff was very nice. Our stay was clean and quiet.Probably a BW chain thing:Beds seem fine but the beddings at the 2 BW I have stayed at this year are microfiber sheets and very thin hospital like blankets and that’s it. If you like comfy beddings, bring your own. Maybe you have to stay at BW Plus for better bedding.
