Dr. Gilbert was knowledgeable on my breed, which was a pleasant surprise as I usually have to advocate for the breed with vets in the area as they are uncommon. She was polite, explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and I felt she truly helped our dog. Font desk was patient with me as we got our vaccine records transferred over from our previous vet. I felt respected and valued as a new client, the prices were very reasonable as well. The best experience I've had at a vet in the 5 years I've lived in this area and I'm glad I found this place.

The only Aviary vet in our area.. and it's a 40 min. Car ride for us. They have a great group of people working there who clearly love their clients! They know our Jeffrey well and are always glad to see him when he goes for his beak, nails and feather trim. Yes, we do recommend them!

We were very blessed with the kindness and the attentiveness of this Animal Care clinic. They were so attentive to the needs of a little cockatiel birdie that they never even seen the bird before but had been suggested that it be put under they said they would look at him to make sure there wasn't nothing they could do to help bring healing. My friend Vicki the owner of the birdie was very grateful to the team for diagnosing the bird and they all came to the conclusion that the bird was suffering so they put him under and I got to bring him home to for my friend. Thank you to the staff we are very grateful for your kindness to squeaker and Vicki Mast

I brought my cat in for shots, check up, and nails clipped. I waited in the lobby for, about, 35 mins. past the appointment time. Finally someone took us back to a room. The person asked some questions then told me they would be back with a scale and the shots. I waited 25 mins for her to come back. She still didn't come back. My cat was stressed! Nobody told me they were running late. After being there for an hour, we left!!

First let me say that my reviews are truly my opinions, you may have a different experience than me. This was my first time attending this vet clinic. My 17 month old dog had been hospitalized recently at another clinic on an emergency. He needed his vaccinations so I made an appt to get those and have a consult with the vet about his diet. I mentioned this to the reception person when I called. When I got there, the doctor examined him, gave him his vaccines and just went to walk out of the room. I was very annoyed as the consult was the most important thing on my mind. The doctor told me to write down what I am currently feeding him (home cooked due to his gastric condition) and walked out the door, leaving me with the vet tech, a piece of paper and a pen. I was told the vet would get back to me and they never did. I feel this veterinarian does not really care about our beloved fur babies. The vet will not take the time to listen to concerns. I do not recommend this vet at all, but in my previous statement, you may have a different experience.

The staff there was wonderful and even know my friend's bird had to be put down they were so kind and helpful to her. The price was definitely reasonable as they were compassionate to an elderly person limited funds !

Office is clean, most staff are friendly, there’s one lady in there who I think is very rude, expensive! No other vet was taking pets so I had to take my baby girl here. I tried to make appointment elsewhere, but wasn’t able to find, so I had to keep going here.My baby girl was sick and needed to be put down last minth after close to a year of painful relapses, and this last time was pretty bad to where I made the gut wrenching decision to put her down.During vet visits, she’d need to have blood drawn, and staff would always bring her back to me with her chest soaked in rubbing alcohol. I had brought this up to staff several times that I, her owner, do not want her blood drawn in her neck. I was told by the doctor that that’s where they draw the blood and they basically won’t honor my request. I didn’t like that one bit! I would wash her off at the sink to remove the alcohol. The tech said “the fumes won’t hurt her.” Yes they will! Alcohol fumes are harmful and/or fatal. How about you douse your hair in alcohol and try to breathe normally while it dries and get back to me.That terrible day I needed to put my beloved down, that rude lady was working and she wasn’t very compassionate at all. Also, I’m asking the vets for future pet parents who need to put down a furbaby to ALLOW them to HOLD their babies while they are being out down!! It’s already a horrible experience, LET US HOLD OUR BABIES!!I took her in when she was having a relapse and the vet had the NERVE to tell me she was “crying wolf”! Tf!! My baby girl was put down not long after that… think she’s still faking doc!? GFY!Also, the day I picked up her ashes, the bag that she was in was put on the counter, the lady said “take care” and turned around and walked off. The other lady at the desk didn’t say not one word!!! NOT ONE WORD!! Now mind you, my baby girl is ashes in a box and you can’t say anything comforting!? You gotta treat it like a business transaction!!?? Just plunk her in the desk and walk off!? LNO CONDOLENCE CARD IN THE BAG!?!? YOU CAN TAKE MY MONEY and charge me HUNDREDS AND HUNDREDS for visits and to put HER DOWN BUT YOU CANT GIVE ME ANYTHING COMFORTING BESIDES a damn pamphlet on how to navigate the grieving process and the certificate of her cremation?!!??I called the vet I was going to take her to for a second opinion to cancel her appointment and told them what happened… she had more compassion than any of Yous at Alpine, and she never met me or my baby girl!Take your pets somewhere else that actually gives a damn instead of the almighty damn dollar!!

Horrible place! I can’t stress enough for anyone reading this to take their pets to another vet . When an emergency strikes , they will not be there to help . We have been clients with all our pets for years and I had her in and needed emergency surgery . They refused to do it bc the dr was booked , I asked Emma the dr could please do one more . I was told the dr will be too tired at the end of the day . These are people who truly do not care about animals well being . Not only did they put her on antibiotic for dogs over a year (she’s 8 months ) they also charged me twice as much as animal care center is for everything ! This place will take your money and run ! BEWARE !

First off......I NEVER LEAVE REVIEWS OR COMMENTS! With that said...I took my GSP to this facility last night after he went lame in his rear legs for 2 days. AFTER CALL 15 othe vets and being told....WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS!!!. THANK GOD.....APLINE accepted us with open arms. The Doctor, Staff and Facility were above and beyond. By the miracle of them a mere 12 hours later he I s walking on his own. GUNNAR

After having my dog there two previous times to trim his nails . once with my guinea pig for a Well Visit, and the second time when I bought a second guinea pig. I just recently went to take all three of them for a nail trim and nobody mentions to me that somehow they don't have my dog in their system before the appointment. I even called that morning to see if the vet will be able to check my dog's Paws because he's been licking really bad. I was just told yes. When I get there one of the women take my dog back with her but only mentioning and passing they can't find any record on him so when she comes back out with him I explain he's been there twice. She gets very rude with me as if I made her take the dog back and ignore protocol. From This Moment On of course they tell me there's no time to check the dog's Paws and cannot schedule him for a check for a month and two weeks. No offer us how to be seen sooner. And just acted like I had done something terribly wrong. Once I got home,I found the two receipts from his previous nail trims an email to them over. And have received absolutely no response. What's even crazier is I realize they charged me $20 per animal to trim their nails that's a dog that weighs 14 lb and two guinea pigs. I was told by that woman that the one guinea pig has pink nails and there's no reason I can't do it myself. I hurt my pet once by doing that and now I just feel more comfortable letting someone more experienced handle it , not at the expense of dealing with that woman and being belittled for any reason. I got my dog into the local bloomsburg vet where I use to take him with a scheduled visit in 4 day.. I'll be finding a new vet for my guinea pigs and keeping the dog at our local vet.

We saw Dr. Gilbert for an emergency appointment for our rabbit who was sick. She was very knowledgeable and got our rabbit feeling better again. The office reached out a few days after our appointment to check how our rabbit was doing. I would recommend this clinic and Dr. Gilbert.

We had taken our pets here for years but we're changing vets. Our dog had an absess tooth, and they booked him for a surgery. 7 months later!! They said we'd get a call if they had a cancelation but they never called. Somehow they must have not had a cancelation over that entire time? He had his surgery. Two weeks later, his face is swollen and it turns out, he has a new absess tooth. We call again, and they wanted to schedule him for surgery in September, 6 months later. Unreal. We called other vets, and he's scheduled MUCH sooner, who said they have cancelations all the time and will call us when that happens. Alpine didn't seem to care about our dog who is probably in a lot of pain. They also refused to share records with the new vet, how is that helping our dog??

I would not recommend this animal clinic. The older male veterinarian doctor literally covered my cat from head to toe with rubbing alcohol just to take blood. He traumatized my poor cat and acted like because he is 8 years old that he is basically old and dying. My cat went in for his lip being swollen from an allergic reaction. The doctor tries to say he can't treat him without looking at his UTI issue that I had him in there for a month ago that was cleared up with medication. He wanted to take blood before treating the allergic reaction. Blood work came back normal and they did not even Apologize for putting rubbing alcohol all over my cat and him drooling at the mouth from it. They gave him a shot to clear up his big lower lip from the allergic reaction. $300 later just for that. They were rough and did not seem like they cared. Needless to say I changed vets!

I cannot express enough on how satisfied and happy I am with Alpline Animal Clinic. I recently had a childhood dog pass away and they were there for me every step of the way. They really have animals’ best interest in mind. I appreciate all the staff’s kindness and attentiveness they had towards my dog. They are one of the few vets around in this area that have quick and open availabilities, and will accommodate your schedule! I will be bringing my other pets here! I would highly recommend this vet clinic.

They have always been good to us and our cat here. We recently had to put our cat down which was very hard for us and not only did alpine send a sympathy card but they also sent a nose and paw print in the card of our cat for us. Super thoughtful!

Staff is always super friendly (with one exception, but there's a note in my file to not be scheduled with them). Dr. Gilbert knows her stuff behind dogs and cats - I've owned exotic pets and she's always taken great care of them.

Staff seems Knowledgeable, they treat my dogs great, there seems to be a different Vet there every time I go, and they must get pressure to sell their Pharmaceuticals, I cannot get away without spending well over $200 every visit. and I don't buy anything extra. But overall a Good place for your pet.

I’d never trust any one more than I trust Dr Gilbert when it comes to the care of my animals. From a paralyzed ferret to a water dragon with skin infection- she’s fixed it all! I have an extensive animal family and she always been so amazing with them! The costs are reasonable and the hours are flexible. My cats have also been seen by Dr. Conrad who I also trust very much. (he just doesn’t treat exotic animals) He has treated my cat for an abscess and saved my cats life when he wasn’t able to urinate. The staff is very compassionate and gentle when handling my animals and they don’t use large words that you can’t understand and they don’t talk down to you if you can’t afford a certain treatment. They’ve always worked with my budget giving my animals the best treatments with what I can afford. They are the best clinic around period

Everyone is knowledgeable and so friendly. We've seen Dr. Gilbert, Dr. Conrad and Dr. Maggie and they are all fantastic. Thank you to everyone at Alpine! You guys are wonderful!!!
