Went in the other day with my grandparents, and had the greatest time. They were kind enough to open the store 30 minutes before the posted time just because they saw us in the parking lot. The dog, Mocha, was friendly and a pleasure. The owner himself is one of the most well versed in crystals I have ever had the opportunity to speak with. The crystals themselves are amazing specimens, and most are naturally grown but ethically sourced, with the names of the mines the stones came from provided. To top it all off, the prices on the stones are the best I have ever seen either online or in person and there are some truly rare finds. Got some absolutely beautiful pieces and they are now some of my favorites in my whole collection. The fossils and jewelry are also wonderful. Could not find a better small business out there, truly phenomenal service.

Just love this place! The guy who owns this place is just so knowledgeable and knows so much about rocks and crystals. Ask him about your local rocks! I go here like once a month if not more just because there's so many rocks and crystals that it's hard to see them all in one trip. I get rocks for wire wrapping, for decoration, meditation, big little they have so much! Thanks guys for this lovely aragonite 😍

Back Mountain Jewelry & Rock Shop is officially my favorite place to shop! I love coming here, it makes me so happy to see how high quality everything is and I love shopping for my crystals. They have great prices, and have crystals I've never even heard of! Raw and Tumbled. They also sell books, singing bowls and other things! The staff is very friendly. It's a lovely little shop. 10/10 recommend.

My absolute favorite rock shop! They are constantly getting new, unique, rare pieces and you could spend hours hete and still not see everything. The owners are incredibly knowledgeable and are among the nicest people I've ever known!

The store has such a pleasant atmosphere, a great selection of gems and jewelry, and some of the nicest staff I've ever met. They helped me to find a stone as a gift for a friend going through a tough time and put it on a necklace for me. and they were so incredibly kind. Had another pleasant visit last week! Everyone is always so sweet and helpful. I was looking for some jewelry related to Vikings and was steered in the right direction. Nicole the wire wrapper had a vast knowledge about Vikings and helped me pick out a sterling silver necklace and chain with Thor's hammer. I also grabbed a very old and very cool shark tooth as well as a gazing crystal ball for an amazing price! I will be back!

Love this store, of you are not paying attention the gps sometimes takes you across the street. But this is my go to spiritual store. Rare and every rock, gem and crystal you can think of and more. The owners are well verse in the meanings and what is useful for you. They go above and beyond to make sure you leave satisfied. And the best prices in the area..I drive from Kingston to visit.

So when I originally reviewed this place, I didn't have the time to write a full review. But this place is the definition of a mom and pop shop. Its run by a wonderful family who are very knowledgeable of the product they sell, very patient when it comes to a customer who is not quiet sure what they are looking for, and above all else, very friendly. Thanks again for all the help!
