Quaint little restaurant/Cafe. I got the blackberry bacon grilled cheese with tomato bisque soup. The sandwich was delicious, but the soup was average. (I don't typically like tomato soup, so most people I'm sure will enjoy it) It has a really cozy style. They have a ton of different Tea's there. The cold Raspberry tea even had bits of fresh Raspberry in it. This would be great for brunch or lunch.Parking: There's 4 or 5 spaced behind the building to park otherwise you'll have to find a place to park on the street.

Cute little place with great service, homey decor and decent food.. There werent many options on the menu but the main point was to try one of the samplers. Which was very good with a variation of things to try :)

My family booked an event here and our experience was horrible. From the owner to all the servers attitudes being poor, not one of them smiled or was pleasant in what should have been a happy time. We had preordered food and drinks to be had for everyone at the table and didn’t receive them. They ran out of food we preordered. We waited 45 minutes after all our guests arrived to even set up. They brought all our food out before we even got to set up so it sat out for an hour. By the time we all got to start eating they started cleaning up all the food before anyone could digest or even debate on wanting seconds. They only gave each guest one drink and never returned for refills or to ask if anyone needed more refreshments in a duration of 3 hours. I was asked 4 times if I was finished with my plate as I was actively still eating and picking at it, and had the waitress roll her eyes at me when I said I wasn’t finished. They were so ready for us to leave they started mopping all the floors making them wet and slippery as guests were trying to leave and pack up all our supplies. We are lucky none of our pregnant or elderly guests slipped, especially with no wet floor sign. And then receiving attitude for people walking on their freshly cleaned floors, as if our stuff wasn’t still in the room. NEVER felt more unwelcome in a small town establishment than this one. For how much we paid this was all baffling and sad.

Strawberry tree in Curwensville PA is an awesome place to go have lunch. Reservation needed I believe. This place also has rooms filled with candles, picture frames, wall accents and much more to shop.

The food was tasty. Tortellini soup was very good. Very small portions. We had soup, and the holiday sampler. Had reservations for 1pm. They reserve all seating for 2 times 11 am or 1pm. The place was fully booked. They had 1 waitress and we were the last table to be waited on. Maybe if the times were staggered even by 15 minutes then there would have been less of a wait. It was certainly decorated cute inside. And the gift shop is great.

We love this little gem in town. Growing up going to the Strawberry Tree was always a great memory! When they moved up town and opened the Tea Room - it made it even better! The owners and staff are so wonderful! The food is amazing and the gifts they have available to purchase are beautiful!

Really nice place but what happened with the Tea making skills ? We had to send the first ones back because it was luke warm and the tea couldnt brew. The tea came back a second time also with luke warm water at which point we gave up. Its surely not that hard to boil a kettle ? If it hadnt been for this I would have awarded 5 stars.

Absolutely fabulous!! This was a random stop becuase we were turned away from dine in eating in Grampian, and what a culinary adventure it was. We orders the spring sampler and everything was not only delicious, but also mind blowing because it was so unique as well. The menu is small, but packs a big punch. The staff was patient and accommodating with our 3 year old as well. And the heart shaped PB&J was more of a pleaser than I expected. Thank you for a great impromptu lunch. We will be back for a longer and more relaxed coffee and tea extravaganza next time.

My cousin and I happened on this little shop as we were in Clearfield County doing genealogical research. It was the most pleasant experience! The owners are wonderful and friendly people, with such knowledge about the area. The gift shop is great and very pleasant to browse through, many interesting gift items available. Have to agree with the previous post, would have been wonderful to see items made by local artists! The food was amazing! All made right there in this beautifully restored house!! We enjoyed every bite, along with the friendly atmosphere. Really made our day!!

Beautiful place.. we have been here a few times before and was always pleased., But today service was lacking and the size of the plates seemed much smaller as did the size of the food on the plates. We tried the spring sampler today for $16.95 each. Bread pudding was delish.. sandwiches not impressive and the scone which I always look forward to was awful. I thought it was rosemary.. but they say it was lavender. Either way for my taste really bad. I can’t say I enjoyed it today.

This was such a lovely experience. It was my month to sponsor our book club, rather than my home, I chose the Strawberry Tree. They accommodated our group of eight, graciously. We had a few dietary issues, none proved to be a problem. We had ample opportunity for discussion of our book. Ambience, food, service were all exemplary.I'm not sure if they extended themselves JUST for us, but this establishment is a true GEM.THANK YOU STRAWBERRY TREE, CHEFS, STAFF AND COMMUNITY for keeping this lovely little place alive and kicking.

What an adorable place for afternoon tea! This was my first visit, and I loved the food and the ambiance. The tea, sandwiches, and desserts were delicious. After enjoying our meal, we wandered around the shop, which is filled with all kinds of things, from candles to jewelry, scone mix, teas, toiletries, and decorations tastefully done. Looking forward to a return visit!

My fiancee and 3 year old daughter wandered in here on a whim. Wow. Amazing. Warm scones, delicious finger sandwiches, home made cookies and all kinds of deserts. They even had a PBNJ for my kiddo. Will be back, will recommend.

Food was delicious! We got 1/2 sandwich and a cup of soup. It's around $10, and you definitely getting your money's worth! Chips, fruit or coleslaw, a huge sandwich, and hearty soup. The scones we're amazing, and we also had a dessert sampler, which was equally delicious. Plan for plenty of time because it is locally owned and operated. Very gracious people.

I took my granddaughter to the Strawberry Tree for her 17th birthday. The waitress we had was wonderful, very attentive, checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The food was wonderful and we plan on taking a group back for Mother's Day.

Quaint, superb atmosphere and food. Orginal menu all home cooking. Staff is beyond helpful and friendly. If it's a unique experience your looking for this is the place to be. The gift shop is well worth the visit also!

We had the sampler and it was mostly good. The complaint I would have was the bowl of olives. You are making an assumption that all people love olives and that would be wrong. Bad choice for a tea room.

We held a wedding shower here recently. It was the perfect setting. The food was great and everyone had a great experience. The owners are fantastic and went out of their way to make sure everything was special.

Food is always great! However during my family's last couple visits, a particular waitress made us feel a burden... after asking for more hot water for our tea she let out a loud sigh before walking back to the kitchen. Will continue to attend this place, just hopefully we have a nicer waitress next time..

Nice place to sit down with friends and family. Sit down for tea and snakes. Great place for tea parties. China is very fragile so be careful with young kids. You can buy gifts from there like different types of teas, clothes, bracelets, tree ornaments, and gift cards. Great local business

The peach sweet tea was neither sweet nor very peachy. There are no vegetarian dishes, but I was able to get some substitutions. However, the sampler left a lot to be desired, particularly the desert.

The Strawberry Tree offers a delightful tea service that I recommend if you want to get together with a small group of ladies. The atmosphere is enjoyable (the house has been beautifully restored) and the goods are pleasing to look at. (I have to admit that I think they are overpriced and largely made in China.) I give this a high review because it is an unexpected gem in Curwensville. I think it could be improved by selling handmade goods from local artists as opposed to mass-produced goods, or by reducing the prices of the goods already in the store. I hope to enjoy the charming setup of tea and snacks again in the near future!

Food was great. Nothing like it in the area. Bathroom is in the kitchen, so that's weird. Not any drink options. You go for the uniquness of it. Not for a huge menu. Then you'll be pleasantly surprised. Imagine you're going to someone's house for dinner. You wouldn't have 20 options. Maybe 3. But they are all great.
