Everytime I go here (which has been only when I have to for the last 12yrs) the staff are rude and only seem to be friendly if they know you or if you're over a certain age! And god-forbid you have EBT you're treated like you're scum to them...yeah go here if you're friends or family or if you dont have children w disabilities and they'll treat ya great!! The rudest grocery store I’ve ever visited, my s/o and I fight over who has to go in the store the workers are so nasty! Honestly you hate your job that much get a diff one, not my fault you work at a grocery store!!

This is a very nice old fashioned grocery store. The prices are high, but it is convenient if you live in Curwensville and don't feel like driving into Clearfield to go shopping. The deli salads and coleslaw were good. They also have a decent selection of frozen dinners, including Lean Cuisine and Smart Ones, which are hard to find in the area.

It's a quaint hometown grocer with the best meat around. It's a little pricey but the steaks, hamburger & chops are always great. On Wednesdays they make these awesome pepper steaks that everyone ought to try. They have great rotisserie chicken too. But go early or call and reserve one because they almost always sell out. Some of the older cashiers kind of have an attitude. But the boys that bring the groceries out to the car make up for it. They're always so friendly and it's nice to have the help putting the bags in the car. Old fashioned services aren't dead yet. It's great that they still do that.

Excellent small town grocery store, in and out quickly. Large variety of products.great rotisserie chicken cooked in store everyday, come early or it'll will be gone. Great owners and workers that are helpful for your needs. Still carry out groceries for you, which I know of none but here.

The workers are always friendly and helpful. My son is a carnivore and their meat is top notch. I only give it 4 stars cause the selection throughout the store is very minimal. If you just need bread, milk, some bakery items, and a slab of cow then this place is perfect.

A great little grocery store. Part of what makes curwensville so nice is that they somehow have retained small businesses with high standards of quality. Goodman's is that way. I buy most of my meat there now because their price can't be beat, and their meat cutter does an excellent job. Thursday afternoons you can pick up pepper steaks, and they are excellent and easy for dinner. But they're roasted, broasted chickens are absolutely legendary. You will not buy a finer whole roasted chicken anywhere. They're seasonings are delicious. I used to think that all small grocery stores had very high prices, but goodmans is the exception.

This is a great little grocery store in Curwensville. We stop here for picnic food before we head to Bilgers. Conveniently located, great parking, and great prices.

Way over priced could buy 4 times the food elsewhere for the same price. I've actually found moldy bread on their shelves and mostly everything I did pay the ridiculous price for was stale they take advantage of the locals because their the only store here

Old-fashioned (in a good way) hometown grocery store. They will still carry your groceries to the car, if you want them to. Owner is very friendly and always takes time to talk to my kids, when I bring them in. A little on the smaller side, which had a negative impact on selection and pricing. Not a great vegetarian selection, though they sometimes have soy burgers. Biggest complaint would be that the cashiers are generally not very friendly. Still, I come here often for the convenience of the location.

This is a great store with everything you could ask of a small town grocer. The prices are reasonable and the people are always friendly and helpful. Moreover, they are helpful to the community, giving back long before it was popular to "give back".

Pricey, dark, staff tend to be rude especially to younger poor folks. Small selection of fruits and veggies. It's easier to hit up dollar general for staples then drive up to walmart or the farmers market for fruits/veg/meats etc. Also bringing your own bag or little rolly cart blows the workers minds and makes them go from ignoring you with an air of disdain to downright hostile

Most of the employees are unhelpful, I waited at least 15 minutes for a pickup order I called in the day before and half of the employees just stared at me or refused to help me find help when I asked. They also have higher prices than most places, but I wouldn't mind the price difference if they were a bit better with customer service.
