I ran into this Dollar General because I was going to go visit family in Curwensville.I would like to personally Thank the two cashiers for being so kind! I was a bit nervous. I was nervous thinking about how our family get together was going to go.My mind was somewhere elseIt just goes to show you that you can make a difference in small gestures. I even told my family that I think the people working in the Curwensville Dollar General was so great.They helped me find what I needed. They helped me clip a coupon I needed.It's the little things in life ✨️

8/18/23 @ about 230 or soHuge shout out to the lady with the shirt that said store manager on it, dark hair ,she was awesome & probably doesn't even realize she made my kids days by being so nice!My kids got bubble guns from there as a gift, from a family member and we realized they didn't work and we went to the store here in hyde and tried to exchange it bc they're more local to us personally & idk who the manager was but he was so out of line and disrespectful all over a bubble shooter needing exchanged and me not having a receipt, me being me, I told him about himself bc I literally just returned something I didn't have a receipt to days prior, so ik they could do it!!!so I called this store and she was more then happy to help me out!! My kids were so ecstatic when we got home& they could finally play with the bubble shooters!

The remodel is nice and they have more food options now. The staff is also pretty nice. My only gripe is that they frequently run out of popular items.Update: some of the workers are extremely rude when you need something late. I came in the other day at 9:40 & only needed 3 things & the girl hollered at me to hurry up. I get that you're closing soon, but I would never be rude to people like that. A couple of them frequently gripe if you come anytime after 9. They're open til 10 so....

I like the Dollar General. I like going there to get a lot of my basic things from basic grocery items to cleaning items. I never give him a five-star because it is so hard to maneuver around the store. I understand that they have limited space however it makes it so hard 4 you to take someone in in a wheelchair or someone that needs Walker. And as someone that takes someone quite often and they need a wheelchair or a walker or possibly even an electric wheelchair and you need to take a cart for them, this store is not the store to go.

Cashier's are friendly..i think Corporate expects them to have the same inventory that other DG have an other stores have 2 to 3 times more space. Also manager is NOT enforcing mask mandate! Unless of course a medical condition prevents them from wearing a mask.

Dollar Store in the Cfld isn't to bad. Not hard to find what you're looking for since it's a smaller store. If ya need help the cashier's are usually pretty friendly & ready to help. The best thing about the Dollar store though are their prices they always have good prices & decent deals.

If you cant get your item at this location, then you dont really need it. This store is stocked with everything you need to get through this down time.The friendly staff led by Leo Hummel will help direct you if you should need assistance throughout your shopping experience. Keep up the great work gang!No shelf left behind

Has food, cat food my cat likes, sometimes cute clothes. Most of the staff are really friendly and nice. Lines can be a bit long during peak times but hey, that's retail for you.

3.50 for a small bag of chips. Almost everything here is more expensive than at the grocery store down the street and the service is rarely good. They have a few nice people, but most just stare at you like you're speaking a foreign language.

I have been to this location numerous of times, today however when we went this afternoon will be my last time I step foot in the door. I have never had a problem with anyone everyone is always so nice. Today however the man at the register was the most unpleasant, rudest and most miserable man. I left there so embarrassed. I forgot my card (which is embarrassing enough) and had enough cash for one item. He made the biggest scene telling me he can't do anything about it and just standing there staring at me. Okay I understand you need a manager to void it off but was it necessary for the scene you caused with 4 people behind me? He actually stood there waiting knowing I only had enough cash for one item for a good couple minutes before finally yelling for his manager in a very disgusted voice and was so rude explaining to her that one item needed voided. Like I felt very uncomfortable and embarrassed. I have never had a problem til today at this location and I will not go back if this guy is going to continue to work with the public.

I pulled up my app for the online coupons..as I wanted to use on Tide and Downy..I asked the sales clerk how I was supposed to get it to work...She acted frustrated and I could see the items on the app...She was rude and said that mine was different than hers...just push the plus on it...there weren't that many people in the store and she was no help.Needless to say. I ended up paying the extra $4 for the items...I shop in this store alot as I live close by...Shes hasnt worked there that long, very disappointing !

Place was pretty clean organized not sure if there was training in progress at the cash register or not or if it is normally that busy with so much traffic coming through there but there was A-line completely wrapped around the front of the registers almost all the way to the front door a lot of people packed in tightly trying to get things done over all your average everyday Dollar General good prices has always

The Ol Curwensville DG, some cashiers are friendly, some seem to be just there to work and go home. Some of the shelves never seem to be stocked. Could be better but it is what it is.

They suspected me for stealing. They had me empty my backpack and my clothing. An employee followed me around because they were suspicious that I would try to shoplift. I had never been a problem to them, yet they remained paranoid that I must have been a thief.

The store is very junked up. You cant even push a cart threw over half the aisles the cashiers are really nice but the store is in need of a good cleaning out.

The way the employees react to me when I enter the store without a mask..... I have COPD AND sarcoidosis of the lungs so it makes it Very hard for me to breathe especially this time of the year

Most of the cashiers are nice. Sometimes the lines are long but you can still get in and out pretty quickly most days.

Love the one in cville like the one at the mall and a big screw you Bigler DG employees who accused my lady friend of stealing a one dollar bottle nail polish while i had a band in my pocket..... Im sure u watched the surveillance now and feel like u deserve to work at a dollar general for life

As of July/Aug, it looks like a new manager is onboard and to be honest few times I've been there he is outside smoking and when he does come inside he has snapped at the employees in front of the customers. Not cool.

Always a line and there will be 2-3 people working but not a second register open... other than than, employees are very nice and helpful.
