Okay, this owner thinks he's pretty slick. I frequented the store on a regular basis when he first changed it over toChestnutty Bargains. I bought a variety of things from throw pillows to table and chairs and lighting.Very very reasonably priced. What he is doing now is marking his items 3x of what they are worth. Then he is putting 50% off stickers on to show you are getting a big bargain which is probably what you would have paid for it in the original store.You are not a wise old man anymore. I caught on to your tactics immediately. Everybody else will too. You are shooting yourself in the foot. It is time for you to retire.I will never stop by again. And lastly ; fix your effing parking lot. I thought I broke the rear axle of my car when I pulled out from the big ditch at the telephone pole that you can't see until you're on top of it.Yes I'm annoyed.VERY annoyed . I get a little agitated when somebody tries to insult my intelligence.

Great people and nice old school atmosphere. Please be aware the entire structure and business model have changed. They don't sell groceries any longer. Gas is still here but it's clothing and stuff like that. I've not purchased anything other than gas since the change. I cannot answer anything about the changing busy model as of yet.

An affordable and convenient grocery store owned and operated by genuinely good people. I can’t think of a time I’ve been here and only bought one item. You can literally pick up an entire grocery order and not go broke. It’s great to have a family owned store located on my main course of travel. The owners and staff alike will always greet you with a smile and wish you well. Highly recommended!

Very clean and organized store. Great specials and cashier at the front is very nice and great at her job! People at the deli were very poor at service, completely ignored me twice. So lost a sale there! But I will return because the store gets a 9 out of 10 score. I was there today, 1/31/22@ 4-4:30. Thank you for a wonderful store

Refreshing to get low gas prices in PA, when gas around this point in time, in the state, is either $3.00 or more. Definitely a plus!

Chestnut Street Markets is a nice family owned grocery store with a warm and friendly staff to assist you in your shopping experience. They carry an array of name brand items that you see in the large grocery store chains at reasonable prices. There deli offers a selection of their own store made salads that are absolutely delicious. They also have sandwiches,subs,salads, and sweet treats that can be picked up to go on your busy day. I would recommend that you stop by to check out this family owned store for your everyday needs and some great bargains.

This place is awesome! They have an amazing selection of pre-made food in the deli which is always fresh. Love the chicken salad, taco salad, and alot of other deli goodies! All the staff is so friendly :) I have been going here for years with nothing but good things to say about Chestnut Street. My favorite part is they have discounted surplus items so you can save money this is a Plus! I'd give 10 stars if I could! Keep up the good work!!

Used to be Boggs Market, been in business for what seems like forever and not much has changed. Friendly staff. Good for quick trips in and out.

It's ok I did get some really good buys there. Be careful of buying anything in a box . The stuff I bought that wasn't in a box was fine. The cereal, oatmeal, graham crackers , pancake mix, cocoa no matter what the date had a funny old taste. It also upset my guts. I bought 2 small steaks I'm still debating whether or not to eat them. The produce didn't even look good enough to buy. I was going to try deli items nobody was slicing maybe I was better off not getting. So it's good for dairy things packed in a bottle or plastic bag brown sugar was fine, ginger- ale , pretzels oil, vanilla. All good. It's discounted for a reason buyer beware.

I have not been in this place in a while and I have to say there are really great deals here, huge bags of French fries, onion rings, seasoned potatoes, chicken nuggets, mozzarella sticks and a lot more for cheap, from like a dollar to $5.00. Will be shopping here again. Staff were very helpful and friendly as well :-)

I like this place I come here every Thursday when they get their new truck and it's great to find good food cheap but then again to you we'll find food that is damaged and stuff like that because you are dropping at a Bargain Outlet but it is a decent place to shop at especially if you do have a large family need to feed a lot of people that is a good place to go if you need to stock up and they're constantly changing their inventory that's a good thing but then again it is you can never count on them having the same things

I was happy about the place until their customer bathroom was out of order. I had stopped in there to buy lunch for work. Their customer bathroom was out of order and I had to pee so bad I thought I was going to pee myself and asked them if there was another bathroom I could use, (because you know everybody usually has another bathroom that the workers use). Even explaining my distress to the older female cashier didn't warrant me using the workers bathroom. I explained to her that I stopped in to buy something but that I had to go to the bathroom before I did that, and it was very irritating that she misunderstood me, saying oh you don't have to buy anything but we don't have a bathroom for you to use. The male worker there looked uncomfortable and looked away. Needless to say the store down the road got my business instead.

Great place. They are friendly and the prices are fantastic, not just on the close out products but deli and meat items. They sell expired products but they clearly mark the dates. Great place

I must be in this store at least once a day. The prices are unbelievable. The staff is amazing. The smell of the food getting cooked reminds me of me of the grocery stores back in the day. I love it!

Awesome little country store with one of the lowest gas prices I've came by and they sell just about any and everything alot of farm grown non processed food from what I'm guessing would be local farmers and the amish , man it's perfectg

The Bargain Bin room at Chestnut has amazing clearance deals. I no longer purchase snack foods from any other grocery store. It is satisfying that I could fill a mini shopping cart to the gills with snack food, candy, and other goods and then leave the store feeling like I got my money's worth. I spend an average of $40 to $50 loading a mini cart with Bargain Bin items and other good deals.

Always the best place to get gas and treats from the local area before heading back home. Especially Club Sandwiches.
