Leetsdale Giant eagle has some great employees. Were you aware that if you scan the QR code on your receipt and fill out a survey the employee gets a $10 gift card. I think that's pretty awesome but the employees feel awkward telling you about it. The one cashier he got $110 in gift cards. Next time you're in there and you have a great cashier scan the QR code and make their day.

Update 03.23.2024 Look at the picture. Giant Eagle prices are outrageous. What is this two tablespoons of pasta for $6.99?I don't know why people shop at Giant Eagle. Giant Eagle has the highest prices by far of any of the local supermarket chains with the possible exception of Whole Foods which just has a small number of locations. The perks programs just serve to confuse the customer. When the actual savings are calculated the difference is small and can be made up by purchasing one item at another store. Giant Eagle has seemed to use the current inflationary period to raise prices even more than the other stores. In the stores themselves, Giant Eagle has done things like turning the labels of bakery products away from the customer so the customer must pick up the item to see the price. Not only is this away to prompt the customer to buy something it may not have bought, but it is not a very sanitary practice with customers pick things up and then put them back. Giant Eagle's prepared foods offer smaller portions and cost more than other supermarkets in the area. Giant Eagle list the Advantage Pay price first on its signs at gas stations when that price is only available to customers who give their bank account information. They do not tell you if there is fraud you have a lot less recourse with a bank account than a credit card payment. Giant Eagle shoppers give Giant Eagle $ millions of dollars they could keep by shopping at other stores. It seems the local media will not do stories about this since Giant Eagle spend so much money on advertising.

I usually stop by to pick up items for lunch because my office is located in the area. Giant Eagle brand items are usually A1 but I will not buy this particular food to go product again, the Cesar chicken salad had 5 little tiny pieces of chicken in it. The pieces were small enough for a toddler to eat without any problems.

Very clean, friendly staff, fresh food, and staff knows about the products. The man at the fish counter didn't rush me, I was able to ask him about the difference in them and taste. He was very helpful. Nice store, high recommend. I prefer this store than the one by me.

Very nice went in for their specials they had advertised and found some store managers specials.I didn't know about also used gift cards cashier was friendly and helpful asked if I wanted to use my rewards for groceries all around a nice shopping experience.. I am so glad that I waited to buy my ham today all prices dropped got a beautiful spiral sliced Sugardale ham for only 18.00 but they even had smaller ones for under 10.00. Every price slashed on hams and other essentials for your HolidayCookie mix for .49cents hurry inYou will be glad you did.

Honestly go somewhere else. Employees are incredibly rude. My wife came to buy and have balloons filled. She was told the employee couldn’t right now so she said she would wait. Employee instead became aggressive and disrespectful. Sad because I grew up liking and shopping at Giant Eagle. I probably still will, but never again with the one in Moon. I will forever go somewhere else instead of there.

It’s a supermarket so don’t get too excited. But it’s one of the better ones around. Well laid out, always clean, great produce. Can’t think of anything on the inside I’d change. The access and parking lot is a mess.

Love this store, if I had to change one thing it would be the checkout. They don't have enough self checkouts and they don't usually have enough staff on registers. So maybe just more self checkouts like some of the other Giant Eagles.Update: had the sweetest experience with th3 checkout lady. Was so nice and communicative!

Easy to get out of pretty quickly if you're just buying a few things. Prices are higher here versus other stores. Fuelperks are a nice saving. Pharmacy can get busy at times. A lot of vegetarian and vegan products are available here.

Their bakery is VERY unprofessional! I called a couple day in advance for my daughter’s cake they had my name but not my daughter’s cake! Now my kid had to wait until they made the cake.On my birthday they messed my cake up and didn’t put the fruit on top! What’s a Chantilly torte cake without the fruit?! No accountability at all I’m not getting no more cakes from here again and I don’t recommend it.

Always neat, and well organized. Employees are polite and helpful. Product was fresh and well stocked. The bakery always has amazing desserts, and check out usually seems to go fast when I'm there. The new layout is slightly confusing, but unless I'm in a hurry, this is a non- issue.

We do part of our shopping here. They have some items you can't get at Aldi, and a better deli area than Wal-Mart. The store is always clean. We don't get everyday items here [milk, eggs, etc] on a regular basis due to the prices being higher than other stores. The Perks program is very nice for earning points and saving money on fuel at Get-Go....

Got my sons meds and they were so nice and so quick about it. They always give him stickers and talk to him every time they see him. They always ask about him too. Everyone is super pleasant even when the store is about to close.Update: still happy with giant eagle.

This is the main store I shop at aside from Walmart. They often have better prices on some food items that make the extra trip worth it. Plus I always have to get something at the pharmacy. The pharmacy staff are awesome. They listen to your concerns, pharmacists will speak with you about changes to your prescriptions and they are all very patient. As someone with a medical condition, I often have to struggle at the beginning of the year with changes to insurance/copay programs. They are always patient and work with my to try and get everything sorted. Makes for much easier and stress free interactions.

Clean and well maintained! This is the best place to shop for meat and produce for the best value in the area. The cosmetic section is well stocked and clean as well! My only complaint is the limited amount of available self checkouts. Many customers have trouble using these machines and there are rarely enough attendants to help all customers.

I love so many things about this store, the variety, the prices, and the employees are all wonderful.The quality of some of the products, however, has been such a let down, and I’ve seen so many expired items.Buying some fruit and having it grow mold in two days stinks. I’ve found multiple French bread loaves with significant mold and 3 days expired on the shelves, and purchased a meal kit that contained multiple items with expired dates on them.I will continue to shop at this Giant Eagle, but will just have to make more trips in order to buy things as I need them instead of making one big trip for the week.EDIT: purchased Italian meatballs from their 5 for $19.99 section, nearly chipped a tooth on a good sized bone fragment.

Nice store has anything you would need. The produce and Bakery are pretty fantastic. The prepared food is Amazing! They have a small beer and wine section too. The Pharmacy is well staffed so there isnt usually much of a wait there.

Great place to shop. The loss of a star comes from their produce selection, and that it is limited compared to other Giant Eagles. The facility is always clean, and most staff are very friendly, especially the pharmacy staff. There is one supervisor in the cash out area that is always a little off putting. I wont single anyone out, but if you never encounter this individual your experience here will be much better!
