For those that love discount shopping, Big Lots in Moon Township is the place to go! Newly opened; the store features large brightly lit isles, clean floors and shelves and an extremely friendly and helpful staff. The layout is easy to walk through and the displays are kept out of the cart paths. The only issue with this brand new store is the three checkout registers all crammed together at the front of the store (you may end up waiting between 5 and 10 minutes for a register to open up).

The Big Lots stores in Pittsburgh (Moon twp.) and in Fairmont , WV are both wonderful. Finding deals and fun items with wonderful and helpful employees. HOWEVER...PLEASE NOTE: THE ONE IN Bridgeport, WV....local to me....is horrible. Items not stocked well and absolutely rude employees! As a disabled woman I went up to the counter when there was no one in line and they forced me to walk around the entire display area before I was allowed to check out! The rudeness continued during the checkout purchase. I may be disabled...but I am an RNC PhD x2 and own a jewelry and specialty gift shop for over 22 years.! I would never treat anyone....even a homeless person the way I was treated here! Considering filing a state complaint! Sad , because the other 2 stores are wonderful and a pleasure to shop in!

The cashier, only one, was rude and never said one word such as thank you after she rung up my $271 order. When she started to put items in small bags I asked if she had large bags as opposed to 20 small bags...a moron would have had more sense than her.I suggest better training for cashiers!!! Very disheartened by this experience. Nobody should leave your store feeling disgusted like I did. I won't shop here again. (Coraopolis store)

Experience there was excellent by manager j. She went well above her responsibilities, because she truly is the nicer worker who knows her, store, products from top to bottom. The place has great deals and good quality stuff but the checkout process was painful. There was about 5 people in line and there was 1 register open with a customer in deep conversation with the checkout employee and another employee who was bad-mouthing the manager and complaining about how hard his job was and how stupid everyone was. He might have been 19 years old. The other employee was at least in her forties and was laughing and joking along. People in line were disgusted.

After 20 minutes of waiting and asking a cashier for a salesperson on a furniture purchase no one showed up. Called and asked for the store manager and he appeared disinterested and didn't understand the salesperson's main function is to sell for the store owner. After being ignored by sales staff and management I took my business to Levin's furniture and purchased my furnishings.

Shopped here a lot but lately, items are cheaply made as well as marked up between 15-35%.I understand products are not being shipped to stores and it is hard holding on to or hiring workers to stock shelves or serve but customers are feeling it too in their pockets. These businesses are looking after themselves and so we consumers have to do the same and I guess we have to shop at places that are not trying to over charge.

Update - Have shopped here a lot the past couple of months and each time had a great experience. Today we bought furniture and had wonderful customer service experience from Jenna and the furniture inventory guy (sorry missed his name). They helped load our purchase and were super nice. Used to enjoy shopping at Big Lots for over 30 years in multiple states but lately I have not had the same joy or fulfillment.Staff not the same bubbly and friendly demeanor of the past. Prices have doubled and stores are not maintained and kept up to par. Very disappointed for the changes as I hardly frequent this store anymore.

Big lots is a pretty decent store. during this pandemic nonsense it is one of the very few places you can actually buy furniture and leave with it that day. If you become a member they often send 20% discount coupons which are great.

Discount chain store with lots of furniture. Furniture is a bit less expensive than most other big box stores, but quality can be suspect at times.

A lot of great xmasMade up presents cocoa and cups beautifully wrapped for immediate giving even beer mugs I was impressed by the availability and variety especially the price all ready to go as is..Very nice and unique gifts.

Went in looking for flip flops you know either red white and blue or solid red or blue...they were very limited and they weren't sure when or if they'll get any more. So I looked elsewhere🚙 Hey but I did find a patriotic pair at Riteaid👍 😊

Great speedy service. I hate to be that guy that had to slow the line up but the beautiful young lady Naveah helped me out at all cost!!! The scanning machine wasnt scanning the barcode on my phone and the line built up but she kept her composure, kept a good conversation and held it down until her help came in. Excellent showmanship of customer service experience!!

Just bought a glider swivel recliner that has good back support. The girl working litterally ran to the back to make sure it was there. First time i felt like a customer in a business with employees that care. Ill be comming back for more furniture!
