Cooksburg Cafe is a conveniently located place to grab a quick lunch while enjoying the river and the great PA outdoors. They have hamburgers, wraps , sandwiches and other lunchtime favorites. They also serve a large selection of Hershey Ice-cream. There is ample seating - covered and under the trees - to enjoy your food. The staff is friendly and service is fast. I highly recommend Cooksburg Cafe.

Absolutely have to stop here when you're at Cook Forest. Amazing ice cream! We've been going to Cook Forest every summer for the past 15 years, and we go every night for ice cream when we're there. I highly recommend the Cappucino Crunch and Deep Dish Apple! The fries are also amazing! Plenty of seating outside either under the roof or under the stars. One of my favorite places!

A true gem in the forest. A beautiful view of the river, really good food ( I recommend the steak wrap), great ice cream and a huge variety to choose from as well as sundaes and shakes. The service is incredible, the sweetest people are at the window to take your order and they always hustle. The place is always busy but you get ice cream in a minute or less and food super fast. Nice seating options and it’s right next to the canoe place and a love gift shop. It’s a destination for sure.Wheelchair accessibility: Walk up to window or roll up. There are no steps anywhere.

Talk about a perfect spot, right by the river.Tons of food on the menu including a huge list of Hersheys ice cream. Service was great and prompt and seating was nice whether you wanted to sit on the bench and watch the river or sit under the roof provided. Would happily return if im in the area.Parking: Parking lot is adequate and it's not on a main road.Kid-friendliness: Kids meals and outdoor seatingWheelchair accessibility: All outdoor as is seating. No ramp needed

This is an outdoor seating only venue. It has the usual American dining items like hamburgers, pitas, pizza, etc. The kids that work here were very helpful and friendly. Our order was correct. Good place to eat if you are staying at the park.Vegetarian options: They have a veggie wrap.

We have been camping in Cook Forest for years. Our entire family loves the cafe.(22this year) We have ice cream once or twice a day. Service is out of this world. The staff are always patient with customers while they decide on their food/flavor of ice cream. They are always polite and thankful for their customers. Thank you for your dedication and hard work!

Love this place. My Mom always loved the moosetracks ice cream. this is right near the Clarion River, good ice cream with nice proportions (never had the hot food), the location would make you feel like you're in the movie "The Great Outdoors" with John Candy.Parking: plenty of parking

Didn't get anything in food . Fantastic gift shop on sight . Can rent cabins within 5 mile radius .Looks like ice cream a hit at the cafe . Small menu . Burgers fries , hot dogs and wraps .Kid-friendliness: Very family themed .

I had some of the best ice cream I've ever tasted here. I ordered a 3-scoop bowl, and I think they gave me about a quart total. Dark Chocolate Raspberry, Apple Pie, and Blueberry Cheesecake were the flavors I ordered. The fried fish sandwich was also excellent! The service was a bit slow, and the onion rings were little pricey for the quantity we got, but overall it was a very nice experience.

Great ice cream! The food is basic but it is served nice and hot! Fries are fresh cut, try them with vinegar. Chicken tenders are crispy and filling. Ice cream is soooo good. Chocolate raspberry truffle is the bomb! And if you cross the street you can eat with a lovely view of the river!

Stopped for ice cream after bike ride. Realized we were actually hungry for food, too. My husband and I split a chicken wrap and onion rings. The food was so much better than we expected! The chicken wrap had fresh ingredients with moist warm chicken. The onion rings were crisp and not greasy. Very tasty. We each had our own ice cream of course. They serve Hershey’s ice cream and it was yummy. We went back a second time for ice cream before we left the area. Highly recommend!

Very good food and delicious Hershey Ice Cream! You eat at outside tables. Next to Clarion River and Pale Whale canoes, tubing and Kayaking. Fabulous gift shop there too!

Pretty great food but I always go for the ice cream! Cappuccino Crunch and Green Mint Chip. They also have a dark chocolate hazelnut that was pretty fabulous! Its Hershey's ice cream and they always have a big variety. Something for everyone :) it's right across from the river. Get a cone and go across the street and watch the canoes or look for the bald eagles.

We stopped for ice cream after running the inaugural Cooks Forest 25k. The ice cream was great. Prices were good. Service was quick and accurate. A nice location to stop for food if you are in the area with the family, too.

Lots of positives BUT the young kid with the dark messy hair is a detriment to this business. I was there this weekend and he really doesn’t give a dam. My Sprite was not full and was flat, 2 burgers took 30 minutes to cook. I asked for straws and the kid had them in his hand and when I reached for them he dropped them on purpose. I told him the struggle was real and it was way to early for him to have an attitude - it was 11:00 opening time. I struggle to support businesses with a bad attitude towards customers who support them. Hence this kid is a detriment and should go back to bed! Time management would help this place, they have one lady that I saw in the kitchen - need help. This place should be a goldmine if run properly.
