Nice paved trail in the woods. The trail is actually for the blind. I have never seen that before and I think it's an awesome idea.

We had our dog with us. I went in. The lovely lady in charge greeted me. She was a dear lady. I told her my husband was in the car with the dog. She encouraged me to get my husband to bring the dog in. My dog liked the place and the nice lady who gave her a treat.

The sawmill is a neat little spot. With a great atmosphere and very friendly employee's. It has a gift/craft market. And in the other half a theater that that puts on live performances. The sawmill also hosts a number of events during the year. Such as the chainsaw carvers round up in September and the gingerbread tour in November. It should always be on your list to visit whenever your in cook forest!

The inventory was awesome! Ownership was lovely, and I had a great time browsing. My only drawback from 5 stars was due to pricing on some items. Although, this could be related to most things going up!

Visited the herb festival the first weekend in June and had an amazing time!!! Friendly vendors and talented local crafters. Beautiful antique building hosts plays, assorted crafting classes (wood, jewelry, painting, etc...) and a retail shop filled with unique decor, primitives and more!

We visit the Cook Forest Saw Mill Art Center whenever we are in Cooks Forest. Excellent craft shop that my wife loves to shop at. They have a vibrant theater and host many festivals throughout the season. They also have a pool on site with very nice picnic site scattered around their grounds.A trip to Cook Forest Saw Mill Art Center is a very enjoyable way to spend time and just do a little R & R. Don't miss out drop in and take a look.

It's a lot of fun to sit in a theatre in the round and watch local groups perform, sometimes with bats making fly bys!

Small theater. Sometimes good quality shows and other times I've seen some not so good. Not expensive so what does it hurt to visit. Try your luck. The theater is quaint and next door is a wood working shop. Sometimes they hold workworking events there too!

A fun stop on your Cook Forrest adventure. There is a wide assortment of handmade art, jewelry, decorations and a lot more. There are public restrooms and the Black Bear trailhead is right across from the parking lot.

Nice trails and scenery. The mill itself is interesting. The trails can be rough, so not for light walking or folk who need smooth paths. Lots to explore.

I have done several shows here with Brookville Community Theater. The seats are about 3 feet away from the stage and actors have opportunity to really engage with the audience. I have made so manny memories at the Sawmill. When I walk in I think, "Aaahhh... I'm home. 😏"
