The produce is always rotten, I’ve gotten rancid chicken from here before. Prices are higher than the other stores in the area. The employees are nice but the owner is known for being rude and disrespectful.

I always get stared at and watched here... Maybe its because I'm not caucasian.. Other that that, fair prices and some friendly people.

Shop here when I need a few things although today the store manager John Cara made a very loud and dramatic show over me not having the card I was using to pay on me Physically . I have a picture of said card with my name and card number as well as my drivers license which he didn’t even bother to look at. He very rudely and loudly made it sound as though I was trying to cheat the store somehow. He then grabbed my cart and pushed it away from me not even asking if I was going to use a different form of payment which I was going to. I was humiliated and will never shop here again. He was so condescending and ignorant that I should’ve slapped him to be honest. Explains why the staff is a majority teens . No adult would tolerate the way this man is . I am baffled how he is a manager. Let me say I can understand rules are rules but this man made a scene and treated me like some kind of degenerate for a simple situation.

Hometown store, family run. You can find most of the products you need here. Unfortunately due to staffing shortage Deli has been closing early and it's hard to stop in and get quick things to eat for dinner after working all day.

Expensive. Run down. Your cart runs away from you in the store. Most of the employees are the sweetest you will ever meet. The upper management is where the issues start. There are some great ones, but others are the reason the store loses business and especially why they lose employees. Sadly, despite how many times some of the management should have learned to be better, they don't and never do learn.

Usually stop here for quick pick ups. They have good sales on meat most of the time and sell Boar's head lunch meat. It's a nice quiet store, friendly people, and my son, Jonathan works here.

This is a very convenient local grocery store. There is a smaller selection of the same items, but can mostly always find what you need. There is a bank located inside the store and a hot food area that is pretty great too. The staff here are all very friendly, local people that are always ready to help you, if need be. The prices are good and you don't have to deal with the rude people going to the big box store

Founds IGA is great. The meat dept and deli is great. Always fresh and the prices are very reasonable. The produce is good too.The employees are all very nice and friendly. It's a typical small town grocery store.

I have been shopping for over thirty years at Gould's-when John and Ruth were owners in charge and for the first time I was floored when I was there on Saturday, May 9 2020 and inquired of Debbie Cara when did she feel some basic items would be available again ( Dawn dish detergent and canned tuna in oil) and she laughed at me. She followed that up with a comment that she thought they were doing a good job. I did not say she or John were doing a bad job. I worked in business for many years and was often asked a similar question to the one I posed and never was disrespectful to my customers. Debbie could have said I don't know but let me check.I did not respond to Debbie at the time but decided to write a brief note to express my displeasure with treatment received.

Gould's is always a chance to see a friend or neighbor you haven't talked to in a while , and all the employees are friendly and ready to help, yo can find some items that you no longer can get in big stores , the price may be a bit more but if you live in the valley, it is a better than fair trade off for the drive to a bigger store, I feel we should support our local businesses, have a great day and be safe.

Everyone is friendly, and the selection is as good as the big stores. If you can't find what you want, they will special order it for me. No long lines at the checkouts. And I can always find someone to ask questions. Love this store!

During this horrible virus having to go to the store can be very scary. Goulds is going above and beyond to protect their customers. The workers there are so cheerful and kind going above and beyond. They go out of their way to help their customers. They greet you with a smile then thank you for coming and wish you a good day again with a smile. Thank you Goulds for the amazing job you are doing

Prices are equal but sales are great! Sales clerks tend to be young, maybe hs to college age, but seem willing to help with customer concerns. I recommend stopping and giving it a once over.

Worst experience I ever had I did not have one of their store cards and I bet I had over a 100 sub dollars worth of groceries but without the store card everything was a couple dollars each I the more they did not have a store card I could use all I wanted to do was get my stuff and get out I should have had a card yeah but I don't live over that way so I had no need for 1 and it was a nice store in I would have gone back but they could have accommodated me better I just left and I felt badd for the cashier I left all my stuff on the table waiting to be checked out and I just leftI ever had in a grocery store

Deli closes very early 4pm. Was there the other day just a few minutes after 4pm and associates behind the counter said it’s closed… most of us still work as well, made a 20minute drive to get there just for lunch meat so that was disappointing.

We have been in this area for several weeks and I am truly amazed at the range of products this store holds. I always need some off-the-wall item when we travel and I have not been disappointed by this store yet. This trip it was a bathtub plug...I was surprised to find that they had 3 to choose from.The employees are friendly, helpful and definately willing to find answers to questions when they are unsure of the correct response.There is also a small branch of a local bank insise.The only complaint I could possibly make is that they have such a vast array of ice cream brands and flavors....that coupled with the many novelty ice cream type goods had me heading home with 2 half gallons of ice cream, a box of banana-sicles, a box of cherry popsicles AND a huge box of fudgesicles. I am laid out with a full belly just like a fat ole cat.....

The only grocery store in the Conyngham/Sugarloaf area on Route 93. It's friendly, has "surprise" and one-day sales. Their bakery department is awesome - their DONUTS are better than Dunkin. Meat department is one of the best around. Love their "mark-down" dairy & bakery sections - always something worth buying there. Don't let "best by" dates fool you -- stuff is still good.

Nice little small town supermarket. Odd store layout but the helpful staff will direct you when you have difficulty finding something. Affiliated with Shur-Save supermarkets for distribution.Gould's Shur-Save is a good neighbor within the community offering a wide variety of support to local organizations.
