This was our first visit and really enjoyed it. A lot of Mexican dishes on the menu but also have burgers and other non Mexican items. Big drink menu as well. I got a mango margarita (see photo) and it was awesome. For dinner I got the Moroccan shrimp 🍤 tacos 🌮 (see photo) and they were fantastic. The building is a historic old hotel. Inside is very warm and comfortable with nice seating and a great bar. There’s a terrific outdoor seating area that will be great this summer.Found out the owner is a US Marine as am I. Semper Fi brother. Can’t wait to shake your hand in person. We will definitely be back!

I was very easy to make a reservation here. I honestly was surprised by how big this place is. I sat on the second floor, which isn't decorated in as cool of a way as the first floor. The view is nice, but the first floor definitely looks more fun.For how busy it was, the service was good, and our waitress was great.Food wise, it was just okay. Usually at most mexican or tex mex restaurants, you just get chips, but here you have to pay unless you join the free loyalty program, and then you can apparently get chips anytime, which is a little weird. The food was okay and seemed to vary in quality greatly. I had a seafood burrito, which was good, and definitely had fresh ingredients but wasn't really seasoned at all and pretty bland. It was definitely worth the money for the amount of seafood in it. I definitely think it could have benefited from some chilies or maybe a salsa on top. Its definitely american style Mexican. The dessert was also good, but i expected a better quality chocolate sauce and ice cream for the price. It did have a peanut butter spread with what seemed like a mix of rice crispies and a carmel brittle. It would be amazing with an upgrade to the chocolate sauce and ice cream.

First impression while parking, a handful of staff outside smoking. They were nice and pointed us towards the main entrance, but it looked unprofessional. Decor and vibe is neat. Our drinks were horrible. I cannot describe the disappointment in the margaritas. Two of us got drinks and they were just, well, gross. The food is in no way actual Mexican. The Birra was pot roast meat. The chorizo was an actual American sausage sliced! Enchiladas were bland and lacking. The baby's fries were burnt. The waitress was eating between customers. The bartender left the bar on several occasions. No leadership and needs someone who is familiar with the menu items being served in order to cook them.Pricing is fair for the style and amount of food given.

Delicious food. Timely service, we had a reservation for 3pm and were running a tad behind. Called ahead Alyson answered and said not a problem see you soon. Can't wait to stop back by on our next visit. Quickly becoming one of our faves when we are vacationing in the general area. Definitely a great place

definitely recommend going here. Sat downstairs by bar, Americana decor cozy tight no reservation. Carne asada steak dinner special was very good and steak burrito too harsh texmex spicy for partner after asking if too spicy:-(, house margaritas. Guacamole, thick chips appetizer. Fried ice cream and cheesecake with ice cream dessert. Spanish rice and refried beans seasoned as expected not overboard.

I really wish I could leave no stars for this so called restaurant. Let me start off by saying they places me and my family right at the front door near the dishes. So when other customers walked in they was standing right next to our table. We had to say excuse me to get up to use the bathroom. And that’s just the beginning of the worst dinning experience I ever had. Second. The food took forever to reach our table. We got there at 6pm and the appetizer got to our table at 6:35. While the drinks was a 5 at best it wasn’t what I ordered. All we hear most of the time we was there was sorry. After the first sorry you would think that they would do better. We ordered the nacho’s to start off. What we got was some over cooked stale nachos. That was stuck to the paper. We had to send it back. Food had no taste what’s so ever. Literally this was hands down the worst dinner me and my family ever had. It took forever for the food to reach our table. My daughter had to ask 3 different waitress for a glass of soda while customers who arrived after us was seated and served drinks ahead of us. To make matters even more insane is the name is bass buckle Mexican restaurant. Not 1 Mexican on the premises. If there was the food would have protracted better. I just wished they had a 0star rating. $80 for burnt stale nachos. Late plates of tasteless food. And drinks that nobody ordered. Oh and can’t forget the I’m sorry’s. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place.

Chips and salsa weren't that great and they didn't offer to bring any refills. They weren't free either like most Mexican restaurantsI got the Birria tacos. They were okay but weren't that big.My wife got empanadas and they were ice cold in the middle. The waitress didn't come back until everyone was done eating. She apologized and offered 10% off the next meal, but we won't be back due to the poor experience.I would not recommend.

Amazing food, fun atmosphere, and affordable pricing! Best Margaritas around. I recommend always trying something new each visit. You'll find it difficult to pick your "favorite" drink or dish, it's all so delicious. Dottie has been there for a very long time and is a wonderful, fun, and experienced waitress! Tip her well!

I've seen this place promoted heavily to me in the last 10 or so years to me. Never really went because its not in my path of usual spots or main roads. But now I am trying to try everyone's tacos, especially ones known for their tacos, I had to try it.It was good as for taste, but when I compare to other spots are 1/3rd of the price and quality is about equal. So my expectations were way higher. 1 shrimp gourmet taco "Moroccan Shrimp" was $8.99 and the standard taco I think was $3.99 plus they charge extra for the hard shell. Came out about $17 for 2 tacos. I did get a drink and something else which total was around $34. The price just a bit excessive from my experience for the quality and for the area.

Don’t waste your time or money. Seriously, I ordered the Moroccan taco $8.99 for 1 flipping taco on a corn tortilla nonetheless! They also hid the lettuce they forgot to add under the upside down taco tray! The shrimp were way overcooked and overall the taco was skimpy for $9.00, plus it’s zero degrees outside today 1-30-22 with wind chill and they had no heat on , I had to keep my winter coat on.

Two of us ate at the Brass Buckle on Monday afternoon. It's great that the place was open on a Monday because many restaurants aren't. We ate outside on the patio and I believe eating outdoors makes food taste even better. We ordered taco salads and they were amazing. The portion was huge and I loved every bite of my taco salad in a flaky bowl with grilled chicken. The blue cheese dressing that I love to sample in every restaurant was wonderful. Our server Sydney was exceptional. When you visit ask for Sydney. The extensive menu had several interesting options that I would definitely like to go back and try. The memory of this dining experience will linger for a long time because the food was so good and flavorful it just left me wanting more. I was too full to try any desserts though all options were very appealing on the dessert menu. This was a 100% positive experience in every way that I look forward to repeating many times.

My first time here! All servers and kitchen staff were training but you would never have known it. Everyone was accommodating and friendly.Had chicken and shrimp fajitas....fantastic.Homemade chips and salsa were fantastic.Tortillas were huge!!!!My friend and I argued over the bill; each wanting to buy for each other's food. They said don't leave yet and came out with a complementary dessert and sang Happy Birthday to us!!!Will definitely return!!!

Bruh legit microwaved stuff, y’all wilding saying it’s a good restaurant 💀 bad prices and bad food.To respond to the owner that replied to this post: we had the Mexicana Taco and an Enchilada. There is no way in hell that the beans or rice were made fresh. Both sides were extremely hard and had the distinctive quality of being refrigerated and heated up before being served to us. It’s obvious from the picture that I posted how old and gross they were. The taco was the only edible part of the meal.

I go to the Buckle 2 to 3 times a month. My new favorite drink is the cotton candy margharita. My new favorite meal is honey mustard traditional wings. Always a good time there, the service is excellent.

This is THE place for margarita’s & sangria!I ordered a cotton candy marg. It actually had cotton candy in it.Delish & strong (be warned). Not the chips & salsa kinda joint.Has a great variety of street tacos, enchiladas & other classic dishes.with more of a culinary focus, rather than cheap large portion style.Quick service, great atmosphere.Get a margarita.

I wouldn't normally buy wings at a Mexican restaurant but they were highly recommended. They were very good, and the staff was friendly. Neat decorations for Halloween as well!

I had the nachos grande. I'm sorry, but I wouldn't have given it to my dog. It was so overdone, and there was nothing on them. Dennys has better nachos grandest. There Halloween decorations were awesome!!!
