The store was exceptionally clean and the girl who helped us was so friendly and compassionate. When we are ready to get our next fur baby we will absolutely be coming here.

I brought my beautiful puppy name milo from playful pets! I followed this business for the longest time and finally brought a puppy that I fell in love with. I went to visit a 5pm. The front desk person was so nice and welcoming. She walked me through the entire process! I was so glad I was able to get my puppy from you guys! Thank you

We had an amazing experience here from start to finish. I wanted to get my daughter a puppy to grow with, and I happened to stumble across a picture of this sweet golden at Playful Pets. I called the pet store and they were very informative. I actually called them like 5x back to back with more questions each time. I let the staff know I was interested and lived out of state but could be there within two hours. Once we got there we were welcomed in and got to play with the golden right away. I had my tired two year old with me so it made for some struggles as she was being a bit difficult. The staff was amazing and took their time answering all my questions as well as walking me through what I needed to do to get this cute boy home with us. We welcomed our Golden Retriever home about a month and a half ago and he is the sweetest boy ever! Milo (who was previously named Gambino) and my toddler are seriously best buddies! He was chipped and also up to date on all shots. I truly had an amazing experience here and I see us returning in the future!To all the staff - thank you so much, Milo (Gambino) is loving his life and is spoiled like you wouldn't believe!

From start to finish this place was amazing! We found this place through a Google search and glad we did. We were looking for a new addition to our family and had a certain dog breed in mind. When we went onto their website we immediately saw our dog, it was love at first site . We e-mailed them in which they responded quickly and set up a appointment.Upon entering the establishment you could already tell these puppies are extremely well taken care of. We were not even aloud to enter without sanitizing our hands to see the puppies. The girls working that day were extremely nice, knowledgeable and gave us all the time we needed to bond with the puppy we were interested in. They made the whole buying process very easy and explained all the paperwork as well as the background of the puppy. We brought the puppy to the vet during the recommended time frame and also for follow-up booster shots and our puppy has a clean bill of health.He is thriving and doing amazing in his environment and we could not be more thankful for coming across playful pets. We already recommended them to family and friends and still follow their page on Facebook to see all the beautiful puppies. We had a passing of our old dog and the kids were very sad, they were able to spend one on one time with the puppy, loved all the pups in the place and even the kitty. Such a well kept open place. I couldn't speak better of there time and attention especially as my husband was having a tough time. They gave all the time we needed.

Had a great experience here purchasing our pomeranian puppy Bella ( Formally Tinana), the staff was very helpful and polite. The place was well kept and clean and even smelled good as well. The puppies are definitely spoiled with lots of attention and other puppies to play with. We will definitely be coming here in the future thank you guys for such great service!

Last December I got a Miniature Australian Shepard at Playful Pets. I had a great experience with the staff and the place is very clean! I also liked that the puppies are socialized! Bella previously Noel have been absolutely a great healthy puppy and most importantly she fit in very well with the family! We love Bella! We are so happy we decided to purchase our puppy through Playful Pets and when ready to expand our puppy family we will be going back. ❤️🐶

First off, I did change Poppy's name to Lexie. She is such a good girl. I know she was not at playful pets that long but I could tell it was not the typical “pet store”. The places were they were kept was so roomy and it was great to see older dogs and a cat rooming around.

I got my puppy from here and I’m ashamed to say that. I love him so much however, these dogs are from puppy mills. Do not let them convince you otherwise. My pup was sick the day i brought him home with kennel cough, giardia, AND an ear infection. I had to take him to the emergency vet the day after i got him he was anemic and dehydrated from days of pooping out blood. The dogs are over priced and consistently ill. I literally went to the vet and they all had the same horror stories from this place. They also make you sign your rights away for the puppy lemon law because they know what they are doing. DO NOT GET YOUR PUPPY FROM HERE.

We had a great experience at playful pets. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by puppies and one special one stood out to us Our huskey, we later came back a few months later and took home another special puppy our german shepherd . The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and the place was clean and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get a puppy.

Stay away. Rescue a dog instead.Overpaid for my Male Samoyed. He was sick with pneumonia at purchase ( unknown to us) and I am STILL waiting for verification of his AKC papers as of 9/5/2023. I purchased a Samoyed puppy for $3500 CASH in January 2023. After doing research I realize I overpaid for a male. I currently am waiting for proof that he is AKC registered. I have asked for my paperwork since January. It’s September and I STILL have no proof of his registration. This facility does not seem to care about the buyer or family who ends up with their animals as he was sold to us sick and had to be hospitalized for pneumonia for a week ( vet said almost didn’t make it) days after my purchase. PLEASE DONT come unless you want to gamble taking home a very sick, very expensive animal with NO PROOF of his AKC paperwork ( 8 months later) that he was advertised with in the purchase folder . Buyer beware.

We lost our little girl in 2019 and my hubby said we're never getting another. Losing her was way too hard. Fast forward, July 2022 I found the perfect new addition to our family. I quickly sent my hubby the link and called to set up an appointment to go and see her. He knew on the car ride there we were coming home with her. She was exactly what we needed and then some! She is so loved, very healthy, happy, playful, loyal and protective. She's a toy poodle who weighs 6 1/2lbs. she's a silver beige color. The staff were very nice and knowledgeable. The place was so clean from the moment we walked in and you could tell they took really good care of their pets. They were very helpful and we were even given pictures of her Mommy and Daddy. We had a great experience and have recommended Playful Pets to friends and family.Thank you so much!

I found my fur baby at playful pets. Teddy is his name and he is a 2 month old cavapoo. He looks just like a teddy bear hence his name.I followed playful pets on instagram for several months before I decided to visit. The process was very easy and the information was explained very clearly. Teddy went to the vet and he is healthy. I would recommend Playful Pets if you are looking for your fur baby.

1 the girl working there after charging 2430 and i give 2500$ tells me they can’t give change they sell me a dog that is the worst dog I’ve ever seen he’s bit my daughters neck 2 times luckily didn’t draw blood, goes for our faces for no reason always wanting to bite, you can not even walk by him with out him trying to attack our legs feet anything he can he is out of control. absolutely unacceptable for the money paid that they don’t at least have them trained. I have tried working with him but I will not have a pet in my home that acts like this putting my daughter at risk. Honestly i will be in contact tomorrow and if I have to go to court with the videos and pictures of what he does I will. I would give no stars if I could. And the reply’s I see back to the customers review is disgusting. BBB WILL BE NOTIFIED

This is my Princess Minnie in November 2016 I got a call about a female chiweenie. I didn't mind the $1300 or the 4 hour trip from upstate New York to Pennsylvania I wanted her. So my husband made the trip on a Saturday. She was tiny and scrawny and smelled. She came with antibiotics!! She bit me right away she was tiny and aggressive 3 lbs little thing. My husband said she was in a box with huge dogs. Explained the aggressive behavior . I called playful pets and they could not explain why she had antibiotics 1 week later she could not breathe. I cried my eyes out. She was admitted the vet bill was huge. $1200 plus meds. They never answered my calls or texts. I read the paperwork she came from a puppy mill !!!! She's beautiful she's at a great loving home with family who loves her.We had a bad experience with them. Never again

We purchased our goldendoddle from this store. We love our puppy!!!Depending on the customer service rep you can get a lot of information or a lot of I don't know. The animals are well taken care of. The store did a follow up a few months later.

We purchased a puppy and the puppy is fine. We brought the puppy to the vet as required by the contract by Playful Pets. They noticed the puppy did not have a chip that was to be included in the price.Now we have to pay out of pocket to rechip him. The owner said it could have fallen out. Maybe they should put this in their contract that they are not responsible for chips falling out.

BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE1. The very sick Samoyed ( vet didnt think he was gonna make it) I purchased from you had pneumonia. YOU did not SEND us to vet. In fact yall said he may have kennel cough. I found my brand new dog dog barely breathing on the floor of my bathroom and took him to the vet myself. The VET SAID YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER AND SHOULD HAVE NOT SOLD THAT SICK DOG TO US. The paperwork that he was advertised with, NEVER CAME. Yall said it was sent in May, which you know it didnt arrive ( if it was sent at all), its October and we still have no paperwork on a $3500 dollar dog. Beware the owner rather argue with me than send what they owe. If they cared so much about the baby, they would not have sold him with pneumonia, thats the vets words.2. Have the AKC papers you advertise with your overpriced, very sick animals.

I didn’t buy a puppy from here, but I stopped in today on a whim. I lost my soul dog last month after almost 13 years together to a very rare disease that unfortunately there is no cure for. I have been going back and forth on if it’s time to get another dog or not because I know part of me still looks for her in other dogs but our home is just so empty without a dog. I had a half day at work today after a very long & busy week. I took a different route home and happened to pass this place. As I was passing it, I thought to myself “maybe they’ll have the one…” I quickly turned around and pulled into the lot. I rang the doorbell only to notice the sign that said “appointments required.” I felt so embarrassed that I didn’t have an appointment or know that one was needed in advance and thus was expecting to be turned away. But I wasn’t… instead I was met with such kindness. I explained that I didn’t have an appointment and had recently lost my best friend, and the woman who greeted me welcomed me in even though they weren’t expecting visitors. As someone who used to work with animals (both in a pet store and at an animal shelter) I can confidently say that this was by far one of the cleanest pet stores I have seen, and all of the animals looked well cared for. They even had some shop pets roaming around that looked well loved and happy. While this place didn’t have the breed that I was looking for at the moment, it brightened my day to be met with such kindness and seeing such happy, clean pups.

I remembered this store where I would visit with my daughter and when visiting Conshohocken area...I was looking for a puppy never thinking I would finally find my dream dog at Playful Pets. I stopped in just to see...and even though I was looking for a French Bulldog the very knowledgeable young man helped introduce me to the Pug. And there he was...the color I was looking for...black...it was a male...and his curled tail...his face...we locked eyes...it was love. I got approved and he was the best expense I ever paid for! This place really walked me through the paperwork and were beyond knowledgeable and super friendly! That place was super clean, the pens were immaculate, and the atmosphere was awesome!! I highly HIGHLY recommend this place!! My Pug is awesome, healthy...as my Mr. Chibs made my whole family whole again and super happy...thank you Playful Pets you guys rock!

I had the best experience with Playful Pets. Went to look and left with a puppy. As a stroke survivor I needed something specific so after 2 references to Playful Pets I was quite intrigued. From the moment I called to make an appointment I felt comfortable and at ease. My puppy is small and needed extra care, they kindly referred me to their vet who was outstanding. They had nothing but the best interest for me and my pet at the foreferont. She is heakthy and playful and just what I needed. Many thanks to Playful Pets staff and owner for a wonderful expeience.

my dad and i got a dog a week ago (mini dachshund) and she is so sweet. she is very smart and learns tricks very quickly. she has had some potty accidents recently but of course, that is not Playful Pet's fault. the prices are on the higher end (pretty reasonable because they are puppies) but they also have financial assistance which is great. the employees are so kind. the person who picks up the phone calls is amazing. she will tell you about the prices when you ask and will answer any other questions you have! setting up an appointment is so easy and they even give you a text reminder when it's almost time. they accept almost all payment options too! most of the low reviews don't have valid reasons to give a low rating. imagine giving a one star and a bad review because someone is replying to reviews with the actual truth (don't give a bad review if you haven't actually gone into the place and got one of their puppies!). i am in love with my puppy and i'm sure she is very happy in her new home. Playful Pets is an amazing place.

I am very happy with the puppy I purchased from Playful Pets. He is 3.5 mo. old now & so far very healthy. The people who work there are kind & knowledgeable. The pups all looked like they were well cared for. The prices are high, but in line with buying from a breeder. Much safer than buying on line. Thank you Playful Pets for my new adorable family member.
