I absolutely love Ralstons Hardware. The staff is very inviting, friendly, and knowledgeable. The owner has the ability to figure out the needs of any situation even without it being in front of him and the entire staff shares in that very ability. There's nothing like an old style hardware store. There is no big box store that can provide better help or knowledge.

Open 7 days a week, an awesome hometown hardware store. Can get pipe threaded, PA hunting and fishing licenses, just about anything you can think of. Knowledgeable workers that know where everything is and what you need to finish the job.

Trying to buy local, but this store is hit and miss depending on who is working. Went in today and asked the person working what would seal a leak on a plastic mower tank and also showed her a picture of the plastic tank. They gave me an epoxy weld kit for metal. I asked if it worked on plastic and was told it might. I said I wasnt paying for might work and the woman had no other alternatives for me even though I saw JB Weld for plastics a foot away on the same rack. Same woman sold me some odd ball drain cleaner that ended up eating through seals in the fittings even though I followed the instructions to a T. Home Depot has become less of a headache to deal with.

If i could give 0 stars i would. Just because i am not a man the owner told me i didnt know what i was talking about. I was almost 9 months pregnant and with my husband but as soon as my husband told him the same exact thing i said he didnt question it. That was about 4 months ago and my husband went back today and to give them another chance he was rude and over charged us. They have poor customer service but i know his wife and she is very nice. So just dont do buisness with the short, skinny butt-hole.

Old fashioned hardware store with great stuff. I paid eight dollars less for a tool here instead of going to the local chain store, and it comes with a ten year gaurantee. Free parking right outside the door as well!

Reminds me of an indoor flea market. Some things they have and then they don't. Customer service is dependent on whom waits on you. I would give more stars but they don't uphold COVID mask requirements.
