This is a classic Allegheny roadhouse. Friendly. Be friendly back. If you are from the city, know that it is customary to say hello. Get wings with DD sauce and beer. Fabulous. Classic country music on the speakers. Just right!We were there midweek in the fall, kind slow season for the area. Lovely though.Parking: its gravel.

This was my first time visiting this restaurant. I was there late afternoon and I visited with two other people.It took a long time before a server came over to take our order. When I placed my salad order I pointed to the menu and made sure that I was getting exactly what I was ordering. The server verified my order, and after waiting for a period of time after the others food had come out, my food finally arrived to the table. What I thought I was getting was the equivalent to a large garden salad with grilled chicken breast on top; what actually came out was that covered with french fries, shredded cheese, beets, and pickled eggs. I was shocked! I asked the server what it was and told her it wasn't what I ordered. I showed her the menu and reminded her of me verifying exactly what I was getting. She confirmed that the kitchen staff had messed up the order and took the plate back. Those with me finished their meal and got to watch me eat when my order came out. When it came out it was delicious. Those with me didn't care for their food.At one point the cook was out at the bar braiding the hair of another employee. When we got up to leave, my two guests went outside and I headed to the restroom. When I came out of the restroom I heard the employees talking about me. When I walked by they stopped. I told them to go ahead and talk and not to feel uncomfortable with what they were saying because I was leaving.When we did a Google search for the best restaurants in the area this one came up as #2. The staff was very unprofessional and the service was terrible. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Wing nights are Thursdays 10 bucks a dozen and they are really good. In the warmer months they have a outside bar that is really nice.

Amazing food! Just got back from my first trip to the Youghiogheny River, and stumbled across this gem. The bartender Sully served us up a fantastic steak sandwich, and the burger was legit. Thanks for the great hospitality, we'll definitely be back through again.

A friend and I went there to unwind after helping me moving into my new place so we went to shoot some pool and get a couple drinks and some people started some trouble with us. And my friend can get a lil mouthy at times but they wasn't no help they ran there mouths back instead of listening to me and just letting me get my Friend out of there. I probably will never go back to this place

Outside country bar was open. Cool place in the middle of nowhere. Drinks were cheap, but didn't really have any craft beer at the outside part. Staff was decent. Overall, decent.

I came across this place while taking a weekend away. Good food, good drinks, good people. We had lunch and then came back later in the evening for more drinks. They had a great DJ and we danced the night away. If you are in the are you should stop in.

Great place we enjoyed the atmosphere and the owner Kevin is very nice. We ordered wings and they were perfect just the way we like them. We will be going back there again and highly recommend this place. Nice little hidden gem!

Out of town looking for a place to eat. Stopped in and was really surprised with the menu. Great food! Had the philly steak, crab dip and wife had a bacon chedder burger. Would definitely like to try their huge wings, if back in the area. Can't figure out why no other reviews.

The Roadhouse Bar&Grille usually always have a live band on Friday and Saturday throughout the warmer parts of the year. Also if your not sure where to go for Halloween, Thanksgiving Eve, New Years Eve, Superbowl, Steelers Games head down 281 almost to the point when you start asking yourself should I turn around bc you've probably lost cell service and there's literally nothing around besides cow pasture and barns, lol don't turn around I promise you won't be disappointed if your looking for a small town bar you'll be welcomed by an awesome and friendly staff always looking to meet new folks. Hope you can make your way to the Yough Roadside Bar&Grille just to say you drove to the boondocks for a drink, it's worth the pretty drive!

Stop there several time when out on bike. GREAT little patio/Tiki bar in back by the little pond. The inside bar is no smoking, but covered front porch and the Tiki in back is awesome and you can smoke there. Wonderful owner who always chats with you. Place is clean, Lori is the only bartender we know and is a sweetheart, beer is always cold, service is perfect! Must stop when you are out that way. Never have tried the food, but the menu is impressive.
