We took Lucy (our mini golden doodle) to Joy for the 2nd time today and we are just so amazed by her talent! Lucy has been to several different groomers and we now will never go to anyone else! So thankful to have discovered Joy's Salty Dog Salon and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog groomer in lanc co.

I can't say enough good things about Joy! Not only does she do an incredible job grooming our pup, she literally saved our dog's life - because of her experience raising poodles, Joy recognized a life-threatening condition in our Standard and told us to get her to the Vet. Had we waited even a day later we might have lost her! So we consider Joy our pup's fairy godmother - how many groomers save the lives of their clients?

I've known Joy for a very long time. She's been our favorite groomer for our standard and mini poodles. She does an excellent job at a good price. My dogs are always happy to see her. In fact we've gotten a number of them from her or with her assistance.

Joy is a wonderful groomer and is first rate at working with the dogs (and their owners) that come into her shop. We rescued a brother and sister 2 years ago and we were totally overwhelmed with them at first. My husband and I took them to Joy's shop for nail clippings, for the first time, and despite having dogs our entire married life of 44 years, nothing that we did in the past worked with these two. I was frazzled! Joy was so kind and encouraging to US and gave us tips and pointers on things we could try! She took the time, despite a full load of dogs in crates waiting for grooming! Imagine! She only just met us. She is certainly very professional AND knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone - in fact I already have.

Joy is an outstanding no nonsense professional who does an exemplary job. When contacting her she is responsive her facility is well kept and the finished product is worth every dime. She is the best value in our area with better prices than the competitors. I only take my dogs to her even if I have to wait.

Joy is one of the few groomers in the area I would trust with my poodle! She goes above and beyond to make sure he’s happy and taken care of, takes time to answer questions about maintaining and brushing between grooms, and her rates are always reasonable in comparison with local groomers.
