The cashier I had today smelled so bad. This isn’t the first but I always try to avoid her. I had no choice because she was the only one on register.This is an ongoing problem with her odor. Why would they let someone that smells that bad work with customers? I called the store and spoke with the manager. She said they are well aware of her Odor and they can’t do much about it. She said HR knows too. This situation is very offensive. Nobody should be subjected to deal with a person with horrible body Odor in the workforce. She needs to be pulled aside and told to shower before work and fresh clean clothes every morning. If she doesn’t comply she will eventually have to be let go ( terminated). There is such a thing as verbal warning, written warning and termination.This has been going on too long.Your employees represent your business. Is this who you choose to keep representing your Business? As a long time customer and over the years I never had this experience. I feel the need to speak up because it’s been going on for months. Apparently Nobody isn’t taking the steps to rectify the issue.

I really like this Weis except for the fact that every time I get raspberries here they are moldy :( The past 10+ times I’ve been there I haven’t been able to find fresh berries. I wish the produce was fresher and checked for mold. I found this on their shelf recently when looking for berries and haven’t bought them from here since.

The selections are not what they use to be. The opening time is not convenient either before they were great for people on the off shifts. The people are helpful enough but it's getting difficult to choose between another store that has better hours and selections.

I'd give better stars, but when your Jeep breaks down due to Advanced Autoparts faulty hose, Address Virginia, lacking funds, no family and all we wanted to do was quietly work on our Jeep parked in the side parking lot, instead Weis and 80% of Lititz Pennsylvania wanted to treat us like a Circus, never in all my years have i visited a horrible City.

Rude managers, staff that don't know what they are doing, sell Western Union money orders but don't cash them, no signage stating such, customer service at corporate is just as rude and unhelpful.Idiot who told me over the phone they DO cash Western Union money orders needs to be fired.

In a convenient location near a wine and spirits. Plenty of parking. No big customer service issues. Not too busy. I think Weis is always pricier, but prices were comparable to other midsized groceries. Self checkout available

I have called the service desk five times there's no answer so I called other departments and there's no answer. So I called the bakery and I finally get a hold of somebody named Samantha Guerrero or something like that and I'm asking her kindly if she could just ask anybody up front if they have Similac advance formula because it's the first of the month and sometimes it's not there in the beginning of the month I've been put on hold three more times I'm explaining to her that I'm driving in an Uber with my children and I don't want to go to the wiser that there's no Similac and I understand it's not her department but I don't know who else to get ahold of and she's the only one answering the phone but you just keep putting me on hold with the same line number and then ignoring the call. Super unprofessional I spend thousands of bucks a month at wises between me and my children. As a Gold club member and this is how we are treated. So after 8 attempts to just find out if there is formula I still have no answer I'm pretty disappointed in this.

The ONLY reason I'm giving them 4 stars is the self check out lanes do NOT take cash. (Not the stores doing, cooperates doing). This is really annoying overall. They also tend to have only 1 individual on a register, and they usually have a long line. We still enjoy interacting with the people working the register, and some people only have cash to pay. Otherwise, the staff is very helpful and kind. They do their best to keep the place clean, stocked, and meet the overall needs of patrons.

I can understand klthe kids but there is a manager Ebie or Evie I think her name is and every time we enter this store she is on her phone. I called in one time to speak with a manager regarding a recent event and she literally spoke to me as if I was a teenager then hung up on me. Not sure how she is in management! Store is always in disarray in the evenings and they can't even have fresh bread or doughnuts ready in the morning for years now! This business may be just down the street for us but we have been going to GIANT now because the people and service and products are always above par...

I like just about everything at the Weis Market in Columbia. All people who work there are helpful and will listen to you. The only thing was they didn't have the Large paper cups that hold muffin mix so you can bake your own. Had all the sizes except the extra large so I'll have to drive all the way into York to get 1 small item

Weis is the grocery store for many of the residents that live in Columbia or around the area. I’ve been going to Weis for quite some time now as does my mother and grandmother. However, Weis will never get my business again after having to deal with such discrimination and harassment. March 14th, my fiancé and I decided we needed to get groceries for our 4 small children and the household. After she left, she realized she forgot the card (which is what we needed to pay for our groceries) and was going to go back home to get it. That was around 6:20pm. She never did return home and when she did it was 12:15 am March 15th with no groceries. She left the card at home and hadn’t noticed until she had groceries in the cart already. When she asked one of the employees who is a regular that sits at the self checkout if she could leave the cart there and go grab the card the employee agreed and told her to move the cart to the side. As she was leaving another employee who was at the second to last register, made a comment and told her, “I see what you’re trying to do.” Confused, my fiancé asked what she meant. The employee repeated herself and made sure to tell her that someone stole a coffee pot recently which had nothing to do with my fiancé. At this point my fiancé was upset she was being racially profiled and assured the employee she didn’t take anything and that she forgot the card at home and needed to go get it. The employee doesn’t believe her so by now my fiancé is irate and the cops show up! She’s trying to explain the situation and while this is going on she made another comment to my fiancé saying, “we didn’t call them, they were just in the area.” The employee who told her it was okay to leave the cart never spoke up to tell the police or the other employee the truth so the situation ended with my fiancé being arrested and no groceries. Your website talks about your mission, values and vision but, the way these employees acted and went about things obviously need another lesson in human decency and what you try to “instill” in your employees. Absolutely sickening. The employees represent the business and if racism and harassment is what the real values are, I pray nobody shops here anymore.

Had to use self checkout no big deal. But had a little difficulty with it needed assistance but was unsure who to look for cause the cashiers that were there were busy and I noticed some cause I’m looking for uniformed employee. A young girl I’m assuming she might have been Manager came over so worried about her appearance and all you can notice and I wasn’t the only one that noticed was she made sure she was showing some stomach skin and shirt with sweater and bending over and showing her cleavage. There needs to be uniformed shirts and coverage. We need to know who works there. Please be professional. Thanks. And P.S. thanks for having the shelves stocked. Good job on that

Always check the code dates on everything in the dairy section. Sometimes the cottage cheese is months past expiration. Just bought Benecol spread yesterday, I forgot to look at expiration date , when I got home , I saw it expired the day before. I realize that does not mean it instantaneously goes bad on those dates , but this store historically has old stock. Lettuce is also another item that historically is out of code date and that does go bad pretty much on the expiration date .

Everything is clean, fresh products, but some of the employees' faces change when they hear you speak Spanish 🤷🏽♀️ Gentlemen, in the eyes of God we are all equal, if you don't like Hispanic people, don't work, stay locked up in your house , give way to people who love their neighbor and treat them the same as everyone…. thank you

The employees are so friendly. They are very helpful, since I am disabled. They help loading my carb, take my chair back and don't have their hands out for a tip. I appreciate all they do for me. I'm very slow and they have patience with me. This is why I love this place. I've never been so well treated in a grocery store. Thank you

I might even give it 2 stars, since they became even MORE expensive than before. But I do love the octopus in the frozen seafood section. And I do love the fried chicken they make fresh, but after noon (after 12 noon), it's available, and it does go really fast, too, and I love the potatoe wedges, but they're pretty expensive for only a little bit.

They've turned the regular shopping lanes into self check out, and only have 2 regular lanes with actual cashiers. Every time I go in, there are 3 or 4 employees standing in the corner at self checkout just talking. Why make lanes self checkout if there employees that could be ringing up customers? Not great customer service in my opinion. Especially when other nearby stores have plenty of cashier registers open. The idea of ringing up my purchases while seeing paid employees sitting around talking rubs me the wrong way.Other than that, they are a small store with limited selection. Good for grabbing random, immediate need items, but better to go to a bigger store for actual full shopping trips. Good sale deals, but regular prices tend to be higher than other stores.

This store is clean and the associates are friendly. It is well stocked. The only thing I am not happy about is they are replacing the cash registers with self check out registers. I will not use them. I am not one of their employees and I refuse to do their job. If they would give a 10 % discount, maybe. I would give five stars otherwise.

When I first started shopping here about a decade ago it was great and the people were fantastic for about 7 years. Then there was a bunch of turnover and many people working there who didn't seem to know what customer service even was. Now, in the last year or so it's gotten better again. Hoping this upward trend continues!
