Not a restaurant so can’t be rated the same as my other reviews. A fun activity to take the kids. Or even as an adult to learn about the inner workings of how ice cream is made from start to finish. We took our young children. And had a good time and they both are way too much ice cream and had fun with the hands on activities. There is an area where you get to try milking a fake cow, creating your own ice cream container label, mixing flavors, some mini indoor slides, sampling as much as ice cream you want, unlimited iced teas, and pretending to run your own ice cream shoppe. Lots of interesting information is scattered throughout about the whole process. 40,000gallons of milk a day is a lot. A plethora of paper Turkey hills ice cream hats are also available. The taste lab is the best part of the whole experience. Definitely do the taste lab. If you are going to make the trip, it’s not worth it without doing the lab. At the lab, you are given a pint of vanilla ice cream and they give you the flavoring and toppings to make whatever type of ice cream your little heat desires, every flavor, every topping, and every sauce is available. It was a fun and cool experience, but I only gave it 4/5 stars because of the price. It is almost $30/adult and I’m not sure it is worth that. With two kids and two adults, I was at almost $100. Definitely glad I went and experienced it, but not sure if it would be something I would do again.

What an incredible place. They left nothing out of this experience. There is a good combination of Turkey Hill history alongside of entertaining things for kids to do and ice cream to sample. You can easily spend 2 hours in here with kids. My kids are 5, 3 & 2 and they enjoyed it immensely which means we enjoyed it greatly. Milking cows, making fun mock commercials, your own ice cream flavor, box decorations, a tunnel slide, pretend ice cream store for kids to play in...the list continues. It was a delightful time.

I took our kids to the turkey hill experience today- the first time we had gone they were all but toddlers, today they were a good bit older- they still had a blast; they liked the interactive exhibits and of course the tastings. They participated in the ice cream lab as well as the tea lab which is set up similar to a children’s version of a wine tasting complete with crackers to cleanse the palette. They liked the media exhibits where they could pretend to be doing commercials for turkey hill. I was prepared for all kinds of bad tasting combinations for their ice cream flavors but they did ok with that. Restrooms were clean, the gift shop was pretty standard- lots of holiday decor with trees which was festive- a great activity for a rainy day although we would have preferred being outside; sometimes these things are perfect to save for rainy days 😉

What a fun experience! As a group of adults we were not sure what to expect as far as adult/kid ratios but on the Friday that we visited, it was mostly an adult venue. Free ice cream tasting and unlimited tea is included in the basic admission. Highly recommend the Triple Play, which allows you to make your own ice cream as well as learn about tea and participate in a tasting. The main area gives a great historical overview of the Turkey Hill daries as well as lots of interactive areas where you can learn about the production of ice cream. Allow your inner child out and have some fun!

What a fun day! My kids had so much fun with the interactive stations. I noticed as soon as we got here, there was a plaque signifying that the building was autism certified. It was fun but without the sensory overload, ( this may be important to some reading this) . It did get crowded..but still manageable. The ice cream sampling was amazing..like huge scoops! You could also get as much as you wanted and there was samples of tea..my fav 😊 The best part was making up our own ice cream. The staff also removed the peanut butter flavoring from our table. Also, all the nut toppings were together...so as long as you can be in the room with nuts, it can be safe for nut allergies. Take a trip here! Very fun.

We visited on sunday for my birthday, it was a wonderful experience. There was so much to do, free ice cream and iced tea samples. We paid extra for the taste lab and got to make our own ice cream flavor. We had a blast, definitely recommend!!!

Turkey Hill Experience was a great place to visit! The general admission cost was very reasonably priced. The experience had history (things you could read about or look at), interactive displays (for all ages), and unlimited ice cream and tea! There is also an option to pay for an additional experience to learn how to make and create your own ice cream. The general admission took us at least 2 hours with a 4 year old, who was engaged the whole time before getting tired. But, you could probably spending anywhere between 2-4 hours there! Depending on age range and interests. The ice cream and tea were delicious! Staff was very kind and helpful, and were constantly cleaning and re-stocking! There was an elevator to make things wheelchair accessible to get to the experience. Definitely will be going back again!

My kids loved " Taste lab" ice cream making activity. I honestly thought this would be less than 30 mins visit in total but ended up staying for an hour and a half. My kids loved this place. The taste lab has all different kinds of toppings and flavoring syrups(?). They give plain ice cream, and you can add flavors and toppings. The portion is huge, so none of our group finished the ice cream we created. One thing, though. Kids love to do activities they have. However, not many chairs and benches are available for adult to sit while their kids are doing activities. They have little recording sessions. My kids loved to do it over and over again. And designing their own ice cream was cool, too. I highly recommend visiting here with kids!

Overall, this is a great and super fun place to visit with kids! We absolutely loved the ice tea sampling and the ice cream sampling! I highly recommend that after watching the introduction video, get ice cream right after and then explore everything on the second floor! Also, I loved their gift shop, it's didn't disappoint!!!Oh.... be prepared for your kids to go crazy because there's so much to look at.... and if you have a kid with sensory issues, go first thing in the morning!

Awesome fun for the kids! Some interesting history, fun games and activities, unlimited ice tea and lemonade, and ice cream sampling. The lay out is the gift shop and tasting lab, where you can make your own flavor of ice cream, is on the first floor. The kids area with unlimited samples is on the second. A heads up to the lactose intolerant, there are no dairy free options of ice cream from Turkey Hill. So while it was a blast to make a flavor, I left my kids to eat it. But the staff was super helpful and kid friendly.

Our troop went on a Sunday and it was really busy. There are a lot of things to read for the history of the area and the company. I think my teenager had more fun than my toddler just because there was a lot of reading and patience needed for particular activities. My toddler enjoyed the slide and ALL the cows. I think the cows were his favorite part. We did the create your own ice cream flavor which everyone had a good time with and the tea tasting and history was cool. The speaker for that made the history lesson really fun as did the gentleman who took us through the ice cream making process.

Visited due to being in the area for another event and not being so costly to do. There are 3 different experiences to choose from, we decided to do the Turkey Hill Experience with the Taste Lab (ice cream) but you can do either just the Turkey Hill Experience (least expensive) or the one we did (middle tier) or the Triple Scoop (all 3-TH Experience, Taste Lab to make your own ice cream) plus the Tea Experience. We went on a Sunday early afternoon. The ticket says to arrive at least 45 minutes before the Lab Experience time (that has to be scheduled/you have to buy tickets for) just not sure why we had to be there 45 minutes before LOL either way we killed some time around the actual location, looking at the gift shop and learning about the history of TH. Another thing was that it said the Experience would take about 2.5 hours but I would say the Lab part took maybe 30 minutes? It was still very fun to get the ice cream and experiment with flavors and toppings. The samples you get were pretty generous in my opinion for a sample (I got more than 1 flavor and it is unlimited) as well as sampling their Teas/Lemonades. Overall, a cute experience for kids and adults alike but would say it is more on the kid-friendly side. Parking was limited but we were able to find a spot.

A bit disappointed since I thought we were really making ice cream but we just added flavor. Overall, it’s very fun. Very tasty ice cream and ice tea. The exhibition is educational and worthy the money. If you have kids, can definitely spend whole day there. Btw, their gift shop is full of cute stuff, I got a fluffy toy.

We visited on a Thursday and it wasn't very crowded. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The icecream making was fun and educational. My grand kids loved it. The restrooms were clean. My only recommendation to the company would be to add signage for areas that are not part of the experience. We went to use the elevator and after seeing a line we headed for steps about 20 feet away. It ended up being office area. I recommend visiting if your in the area.

We did the make your own ice cream lab it was a fun way to spend a few hours. After making and eating our own ice cream, we sampled their flavors of ice cream and sampled all their tea's and lemonade. It's diffently worth checking out. The only complaint I have was the lack of staff/security in the museum area. There was a group of kids in there running into people and breaking displays. In my opinion, they should have been escorted out.

Friendly, educational, kid friendly, wheelchair accessible, all you can eat ice cream samples (by the scoop) & unlimited tea/lemonade samples included in the price of admissionMilitary & veterans get the experience for free and 10% store discount but extra activities (such as taste lab, etc) are an extra charge. My full day experience was about $14.An annual pass is only $50 for 365 consecutive days and receives larger store discount.Even as a veteran, I bought the membership and had my money back on the second visit (including gift shop purchases)The grandkids got to milk a cow (although fake cow, the experience was VERY real)They learned a LOT of historyInvented their own virtual ice cream, packaging and filmed their own commercialsIn the Taste Lab, they invented an ACTUAL pint of their own unique ice cream and ATE IT!SO MUCH MOREDEFINITELY plan to stay until closing(Doors locked at 3pm but they remain open until last customer leaves)

My wife and I experienced a fantastic, fun, educational and delicious ice cream experience at Turkey Hill. When waiting for for the experience, you can read the displays through out the wait area about the history of Turkey Hill. When it was time to enter the"lab", our presenter seated everyone and gave a brief history of Turkey Hill ice cream company. Our presenter, (I wish had written her name down) was pleasent, knowledgable and up-beat. She guided us on how to create our own flavored ice cream. I flavored my plain vanilla ice cream base with Strawberry flavoring, and it was very delicious and fresh! I highly recommend that you visit the Turkey Hill Experience. Loads of fun for everyone, young and old!

Took the kids for the turkey Hill experience and had a good time. The tour portion was well done. My only critique is that they don't offer lids to take your ice cream creation home. I had to throw mine away because it was just (unbelievably) too much ice cream! Kids loved the milk truck and all the cows!Tips:The ice cream is sweeeet, definitely bring water! You can go back to the tea tasting spot but then you're back tracking. If you're doing the class/make your own experience, they suggest arriving 45 minutes early, you may want to go earlier to take your time and enjoy the tour before the experience or arrive just before to do the lab first and the tour after. My littlest one (1yo) had a hard time sitting through the whole ice cream class so don't rely on the experience to hold the attention for real little ones!

Do you like ice cream? This was a great experience and a good date. My sweetheart took me to make my own ice cream where we got a lesson on how to make it got to our own creation. Unlimited samples of ice cream and unlimited samples of iced tea. What a good way to spend an afternoon. Lots of information and displays. Plus a cute little ice cream souvenir shop.
