The hotel is under renovation. The first room the front desk put us in was not thoroughly cleaned. There was hair on the floor, and the toilet and toothpaste splatter on the tissue box holder.The breakfast attendant was very sweet! She made sure to give each guest excellent customer service.Rooms have paper thin walls as I could hear my mom in the next room over, talk to my daughter in the bathroom.

The only reason I am giving 4 instead of 5 stars, is because they're doing a lot of renovations, right now. Once the reno's are completed, I have no doubt it will get 5 from me. The lovely lady who prepares the breakfast each morning and everyone at the check-in counter are fantastic. They are always incredibly hospitable, and they do not miss a thing on their work. The desk, kitchen, maintenance and room service staff get a 5 star from me. I stay here, often and they are always stellar.Rooms: The rooms are being updated with new decor and security locks on the doors. The rooms are excellent size and they have several wheelchair accessible rooms. Rooms are well lit and non-smoking.Safety: They have replaced all door locks for updated security.Food & drinks: They offer vending with several drink and snack options. The breakfast bar offers hot and cold breakfast options with a large variety of foods, coffee, tea, juices and the dining area was recently updated.Noteworthy details: The do have a nice indoor pool, and while they do not have a restaurant in this hotel, there is a Bonanza about a half mile away and this is close to the local college campus.

This hotel is filthy and it’s clear they don’t clean the rooms or hallways. Found toenails on the floor, hair everywhere, stains on the sheets, and dust on every surface. Even saw a couple dead stinkbugs on the floor. Tub didnt drain well and the bathroom walls and ceilings were peeling off. Not a comfortable or clean experience. Will never stay here again - avoid.Rooms: Dirty, smelly, not at all clean.

This hotel is going through renovation which is badly needed. I was given a renovated room which was very nice, new, clean. There were problems though that had nothing to do with renovation. Pool is closed, elevator not working, worst of all There was a loud buzzing sound which started in the middle of the night. Even the TV and ac noise wouldn't mask it. Breakfast was good and staff were as helpful as they could be. Because of the loud noise I don’t think I will stay here again.Rooms: Nice renovated room but loud buzzing sound all night.Noteworthy details: Don't stay on the 3rd floor.

The staff at this hotel were so friendly. Food was what you would expect from Holiday Inn. My low ranking is because the facility was old and the room not very clean. The wallpaper was peeling, white splatters on the walls and doors, and dirt in the corners on the bathroom floor. There was a ridiculous sign on the bedside table: "Housekeeping services based on your comfort level." My comfort level is clean, thank you.

Our stay was very good. Hotel was clean, breakfast had quite a variety and was good. Staff was friendly and this hotel is pet friendly. I gave 4 stars only because the hotel is in the process of getting a facelift. However that did not interfere with our stay. I’m sure when it’s done it will be worthy of 5 stars. We would definitely stay here again.

The staff is helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast was decent, needs a few more options to choose from. We saw pics of the pool and hot tub and we're really excited about being able to relax after training and meetings during the day, but was disappointed 😞 both were closed indefinitely. The rooms could absolutely use some updating. The location is good, it's close to the highway.

The rooms were nasty and I stayed in 4 different rooms different nights . The guys at the deck at check in are rude. I’m never staying there. Truckers beware you will be treated like d. Their shower didn’t work. No one wants to take a bath at a hotel. Looked like they someone had soiled the chair in the room.Rooms: Never going back

Our room was clearly never renovated- ceiling in bathroom was peeling badly. Peeling seams in wallpaper in room. We were near lobby and the music in lobby was heard all night long in our room! Too loud. Highway noise was evident in middle of night. Near the elevator and heard “ding” every time it was used- soundproofing no good. Breakfast is good although we waited 30 min for eggs ?? We’ve stayed here before and had better luck but it’s obvious the hotel needs more updating

Just a few details...There is a lot of maintenance needed in this hotel, however, I have a 5 star rating due to a big sign at the front desk that said Remodelation starting on Spring 2023.It definitely needs to be updated. But it deserves a good review. The staff was very attentive. They offer washer and dryer but you must have quarters. We were very pleased.

This was by far the absolute worst hotel that I have ever stayed at. The staff are a delight, but nothing can make up for the conditions. Yes there was a sign on the door that says renovations.. but they don’t say you will walk through an active construction site to get to your room, that is in a partial state of construction as well. My beds were not a Queen as advertised.There was no hot water when I went to take a shower,I was told they have outdated water systems and to try again in a few hours. They ran out of breakfast and coffee at 6:45 in the morning.

Worst hotel experience to date. The hotel is going through a renovation and is very dirty. I was issued room 115. Upon opening the door I was hit with an awful smell of cat urine. I then discovered the carpet near the HVAC system was very wet. I suspect the smell stemmed from the wet carpet. There is no way this room was prepped prior to my stay and no patron should be subjected to such an experience. They did move me to another room but the deadbolt wouldn’t latch so they moved me to a third ‘renovated’ room. While this room was much better, the deadbolt again would not lock. It turns out the metal plate that covers the hole to receive the deadbolt and latch was meant for the opposite hanging door. Completely unacceptable to have patrons stay in rooms that cannot not be secured safely. To sum it up, it was evident this hotel has a moisture problem. Many fans throughout the hallways attempting to dry the carpets, my ceiling in the renovated room was leaking and everything felt damp, including the tissues. Do yourself a favor, do not stay at this hotel!

This hotel was probably the worst Holiday inn express I’ve ever stayed in. It was very much disgusting. For starters there was no shower curtain in the shower. There was a plunger sitting on a bag in the corner of the bathroom near the tub and hair and dirt in the bathtub! The counter and sink was so dirty! There was some type of residue all over the sink and counter. Everytime I wiped something off, the wipe was dirty with something on it. I tried to change rooms but they were booked. Due to me only being there one night I was going to tough it out but what pushed me over the edge was food being in the microwave! Crumbs outside of the microwave! I ended up checking out at 12am after driving 12 hours. I immediately got a soar/scratchy throat while in that room, I’m not sure if it was mold or dust but it was something in there. I think they were renovating which I didn’t see the sign until I was leaving but that still doesn’t mean the room should’ve been dirty like that. It was not cleaned! Beware.

The staff was great. The remodel (still underway) was pretty good. BUT...the room had a slight SEWER stench to it. Perhaps a venting issue? Maybe its the methane-laced water from fracking that PA is famous for. It did not kill me, so I MUST be stronger!The fossil fuelists who insist on fracking are oblivious to it, but its not good for me.

4:44 AM alarm. I didn't set it, but nevertheless there it was. At 4:44 AM. I wouldn't have written a review if not for the alarm. So my other complaints: The room smelled intensely of mildew, the bathroom fan buzzed loudly but pulled no shower steam out (perhaps explaining some of the smell), a K-cup was in the coffeemaker's water hole, and there weren't any snack vending machines. On the plus side, a trip to Sunoco for snacks revealed fun casino games inside the store.

The rooms were disgusting. There was mold on my ceiling. The bed sheets were moist when I walked into my room. The doors don’t work well, our friends door you literally had to pull the door handle up to open it not push down.Rooms: The rooms had wall paper that was barely on the wall, the mold on the ceiling was literally black like I don’t want to ever again stay in a room like that again.

If it weren’t for the incredibly kind and friendly staff, I would give this hotel less than one star. I’m grateful that we could have our dogs with us here, but the shape of the hotel was rough. The hallways carpet is coming up and wavy and stained. Our room carpet was equally in bad shape. The A/C unit smelled very musty. The ceiling was stained from a leak maybe, and the wallpaper is peeling off. I don’t blame that on management. I blame that on ownership. This hotel needs a remodel badly. Unfortunately, pets will probably not be permitted then, but hotels shouldn’t be in this shape with or without pets.

Right off of 15 near 80 in pa so location is easy access from there. I will start with this part, my company partners with this hotel for us to stay when we are in the area. I was dropped off here at the hotel early morning, yes it was before the checkout time of 11 am so when I was told there were no rooms available I was ok with that. I asked if there were going to be available rooms after the cleaning staff had time to clean or if they were booked.The attendant behind the counter looks me up and down, stated "this is why they are supposed to call first" and brushes me off like I am not even human.Again if it wasn't for my company partnership here and me being dropped off by my company mechanics I would never chose to stay here. I waited until after 12, outside for a room to be cleaned. After 12, I came back in at the direction of my company to ask again if a room would be available or if other plans needed to be made. I received yet more nasty looks and a finger in the air while she stated wait a minute, and continued to speak to the other 2 employees at the desk about eating and joking about bacon. I received more dirty looks as my key was slid across to me "3rd floor, breakfast at 6" nothing more said.This has to be the worst attitude employees dream. When you can treat your customers however you want, while a higher (manager) stands there and eats the morning bacon that was left over. Never saying a word to the customer or employee for the treatment of their customers.Don't expect clean rooms, or even clean sheets. The pictures below are of blood on the pillow. Cleaning staff only worried about the trash and "getting the F out of here" that came from the crew itself talking loud enough I could hear them doors away.I will discuss this with my employer and avoid this hotel as I suggest you do too.
