Very affordable to get your pet the care they need. Yesterday I got my cat neutered, rabies shot, flea treatment & dewormed for only $130. They even gave me pain medicine for him for a few days. The shelter cats have a screened-in catio/sun room by the entrance where they can get fresh air & go back inside through cat doors where they were chilling in their cat beds or doing whatever they want since they are not kept in cages. I was really impressed with the quality of life they are giving these homeless pets.

I love this place. My wife and I just adopted Wii and Atari, two young brother cats. I was blown away at how nice the building was, how nice and helpful the staff were and how happy the cats are.They clearly are very well taken care of and loved. They have catios and large windows with tons of space for the cats to enjoy, and toys, beds and scratching posts everywhere. Everything is very well maintained and new.I inquired about volunteering there in the future because I fully support their mission and want to help give back.If you’re looking to adopt, stop by here - they are amazing!

Recently just bought a cat from here and has been best facility I have been in to see animals. Great customer service. They are quick to respond on getting back to you for making appointments and adopting. Loved the facility walking in and has a been pleasure to come there and adopt. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a cat/dog.

Wonderful facility! Lots of space for the kitties to hang out and toys are around for them too. Separate rooms for the females, males and kittens and the staff encourages lots of human interaction. The animals seem well cared for. Definitely feel comfortable adopting a cat from here.

Visited the Columbia Animal Shelter after researching shelters online for cats. My husband and I were so impressed with how the cat areas are set up, how clean they were, and how kind the staff was. We adopted Little Moo, a little girl cat. She couldn’t be a better fit for us. It’s like she’s been with us forever. What a love. Thank you.

Very clean nice animal shelter. Must park on the side building & ft. Entry is facing on 10th St. Building was built 3 yrs ago. They have the cats separate. Comman large areas for DIFFERENT cats ages. Ft. Desk person allowed me into the different areas to pet the cats or kittens. They spade/neuter / shots when you adopt. You must fill out paperwork & if you rent must have permission to have an animal.Have this w you. Once cleared then you can adopt a cat.

THESE GUYS DO GREAT WORK!! They have fixed 2 of my cats and my dog, all times have been so easy. Same day drop off and pick up for spay/neuters.. friendly, educated staff. My dog is recovering comfortably and the incision is so clean and small. They have earned my trust, appreciation and at the very least deserve 5 stars.

Absolutely love the staff here. Whenever I drop off donations, the staff is friendly and professional, and the place is always clean. I also appreciate how they’re often hosting public events such as their Summer Concert Series and their annual Cruisin’ for Cats Car Show.

Great place! Love how much space the cats have to play and roam around. It is clean, full of light. The kitties are happy, social and well asjusted.Adopted Mr. Handsome yesterday. He is the friendliest easy going cat ever! Allthough I think he might secretly be a dog... he follows you around constantly and just wants to be near you, waits by the door when I go outside, and loves his belly rubs! We could not be happier, he is my perfect kitty match!❤

Adopted my kitten Noelle (formerly Maizy). The cat room was amazing. All glass enclosure. They had plenty of sunshine and light. They had toys and beds and such. All the cats seemed happy and content. She has adjusted beautifully and is currently curled up u der the blankets on the bed.

We were looking for a companion kitty for my mother-in-law. After looking at many animal shelter web sites, we chose to go with Columbia Animal Shelter. My mother-in-law picked a wonderful kitty. The staff was also sorry great to work with. We are very glad we chose the Columbia Animal Shelter to get her kitty!

Beautiful, clean, state-of-the-art facility. Staff is knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The animals are happy and spoiled while waiting for their homes. Plenty of space, light and attention making for very pleased temporary residents. The catio is always full of playful kittens and happy, sunning adult cats. The access to fresh air clearly makes such a difference for them. Adopt from this place!

Staff was friendly and efficient. We had taken a cat in, to get neutered as we thought it was a boy. Turns out he was a she. I do wish they had called before doing the spay, as there was a difference in price, though.

$125 spay. Local vets want 300 or more. This place realy is trying to provide a needed service to the community and keep rates low. Any one able to sponsor a cat condo in the shelter should definatly call for more info. Or donate toward neuter and spay tickets

This place was clean and the animals were well taken care of. It didn't feel depressing and sad like a lot of other shelters. They had each animal named and little information cards about them. I would have brought them all home if I could have!
