Tara is great! I have a welsh terrier and she has always gone above and beyond to talk to me about care and coat maintenance. I really like that she is honest to you and cares about how your dogs experience goes. She does a fantastic job on my Charlie and makes sure he is comfortable during the whole grooming process! 10/10 stars!! Charlie is very happy after his grooming today!

Tara is amazing. She is attentive, informative, and knows her dog stuff! I'm so grateful for the education she gave us on our dog, as well as the photos and updates while we were gone. We felt so comfortable knowing Max was living his best life with Tara & his dog neighbors! We will be back for sure!

I would be very cautious about using this kennel. The person in charge will not allow any prospective customers to view the kennel conditions. This person said that she won't even allow the owner to view the conditions of the kennels. Beware....

Love Goodspice! Our pups come back happy and indifferent which is GREAT. We've experienced terrible kennels that left our dogs anxiety-ridden and scared. Tara at Goodspice does an amazing job at keeping me informed of how they are doing while we are away. Will always go to them.

Goodspice Kennels is simply the best. I've been taking my Glen of Imaal to Tara and Margery for 1.5 years. Thank God I found the place because before my dogs first groom at 10 months old she looked like a fluff ball! Since then her coat has been transformed. Tara cares so much about the dogs, it's honestly the first place that I've felt comfortable leaving my dog overnight (I usually hire someone to stay at my house). She's happy to provide updates and photos showing you how much they are enjoying camp Goodspice and I recommend to anyone with any type of dog, as Tara has experience with not only terriers but all breeds.

I am so overdue on this review. I don't normally write reviews, but Tara at Goodspice deserves super kudo's!We've been taking our fur baby to Goodspice for several years now, he isn't known as the easiest going terrier, yet Tara is so good with him. She tells us he's no problem. She keeps in touch with us about pickup and so accommodating.We were away last summer 2020 during a hurricane & a pandemic. I later found out that this amazing woman continued to care for all the fur babies while the kennel had no electricity. She did not interrupt our vacation as most kennels would (understandably so) to have us come get him, no not at all. She sucked it up, dealt with what I'm sure were a ton of issues related to no electricity and little lives and continued her exceptional care.I cannot speak higher of Tara at Goodspice Kennel and highly recommend her for your boarding needs.MK

This is by far the best grooming/ boarding facility in the tristate, and surrounding area. I’ve never had a boarding facility care about my dog as if it was their own. Tara goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is always spotless and happy. I cannot express how please I am with the cleanliness and prompt service that I receive from all of the employees of Good Spice Kennels. 10/10 every single time.

We have been using Goodspice Kennels to board our black lab Chester for several years and have had nothing but excellent results. He is getting older and would no longer tolerate being taken care of in our home. We found Goodspice and Chester not only likes going there for boarding and grooming but is happy to see us and has no issues when we pick him up. Whether he stays for the weekend or two weeks he comes home happy and Is never depressed. He also always looks great, is well groomed and smells terrific.We give them an A Plus Rating.Thanks Tara!!

Bring my dogs to Tara for weekends sometimes and have always been very impressed with how clean the facility is! She takes great care of my babies and they always come home looking better then I dropped them off! Will definitely continue to use her, highly recommend this kennel!

I gladly drive an hour (each way) to have my two dogs professionally groomed here. What I like about Goodspice is that they know exactly how each breed should look and they deliver the grooming standard that I desire. It is difficult to find a groomer that knows how (and is willing (to hand-strip) a terrier to properly develop the coat. Because my Norwich Terriers are groomed properly, their hard coats and red color is preserved. Tara and Christen know exactly how much hair to remove to give them their little "mane" framing their foxy little faces. They look adorable after a session!I visit Goodspice about four times a year and I'm always glad that they are my groomer. There is another Norwich Terrier in my neighborhood and she is groomed locally; I'm sure her owner pays more for a bad clip job that makes her darling little black and tan Norwich look grey and wheaton with a Westie cut.If you have gone to the trouble and expense to get a specific breed, I highly recommend Goodspice to do the grooming. And if you have an adorable rescue, they will make your dear dog look like its best version.I"m really picky and I will only use Goodspice; I've recommended them to my (also picky) friends. Goodspice satisfies!

Ignore the negative reviews from YEARS ago. I absolutely love this place! We board our 2 year old GSD here every other weekend due to our work schedule. Our dog is always so excited when she goes in. She get’s plenty of exercise and always manages to come home worn out and sleeps, which is great because she’s like our “teen puppy.” The price is very reasonable and not anywhere near as expensive as over boarding places. I always recommend Goodspice when someone is looking to board their dog for any period of time. She always smells clean and is excited to see us when we pick her up. They take such amazing care of her, even though she’s a mouthy, messy pup.

So glad I found them 3 years ago when I moved to the area. I have 2 Pit Bulls who are a bonded pair and they graciously take my two and allow them to stay together in the same kennel. It is hard to find kennels who will do this. They have almost constant access to an outdoor run. They come home groomed and happy. I love this place but more importantly so do my dogs.

We use this kennel everytime we have to leave town without our dog. They are very flexible with pick up times. We have a rather large dog, a New Foundland/Poodle mix, and they always make sure to give her a bigger run to ensure her comfort. She is always extremely happy to be dropped off. Any time our mud digger gets messy they wash her off for no charge. We would absolutely reccomend this kennel.

GoodSpice Kennels is the best kennel i have found who truly cares about my beloved pitbull. If you own a large breed dog you know it’s hard to find a good place to board your dog and I have peace of mind when I drop Dawkins off each and every time. I drive an hour from Philadelphia just to leave him there. Tara is always there with him. I get updates on him daily and he is always happy when i turn down the road to drop him off. He knows he is going to camp! He comes back to be happy and healthy and that right there is priceless!

I’ve taken my Airedales to get groomed with Tara for almost 7 years now AND I drive over 2 hours to do so! I can’t recommend them enough and have told so many people that if you want a real Airedale cut you MUST go here!!!! I’d give 100 stars if I could!

Took my dog here to get groomed by Tara, and she did a phenomenal job! Staff here was awesome, place was clean and made me feel very welcomed the moment I walked through the door! Highly recommend!

This is the only place I would take my dogs in Southern Chester County. I travel at least once a month for a week or two at a time. They my crazy schedule manageable. It also gives me the piece of mind that when i return my dogs have been well cared for. The staff is super friendly.

I will never ever take my dog here again! If I could rate this place a zero, I would! My dog never pees in our home and when we picked her up today she smells terrible! She smells as if she laid in her own urine! Disgusting! It's so bad that we had to ride home with the windows down because, the urine smell was so strong! I should have known better because, when we dropped her off the place itself smells like urine and looks dirty! This is my last time ever allowing her to stay here.We usually take our dog to Black Horse animal hospital in paradise PA, but unfortunately they had no vacancy for our date. She never ever smells like this when we pick her up from there! This place should be ashamed because, reading the other reviews now it looks like this is a habit of theirs.

Goodspice was awesome. I have a pit bull and it’s very hard to get places to take them. I had no issues getting my dog into Goodspice Kennels. They were also very friendly and professional.

This was the absolute worse place to board your pet. My dog was covered in her own feces when we picked her up. She had been there for a week and when we went to get her, no one was there and we, along with 4 other families, waited and called and left messages to pick up our dogs at the designated time we were given. We could hear the dogs barking and crying. After about 3 hours finally the owner showed up. My dog was shaking and crying the whole ride home, dirty, scared and making a howling sound I have never heard her make before. We have boarded her plenty of times at other facilities and she was always just happy to see us. We tried Goodspice since it was closer to our home. Never, ever again! My dog is 10 years old and I have never seen her so traumatized!

We got our Airedale from Goodspice and this is the only place that I’ll take him to be groomed. Tara does a great job with the grooming and knows how to handle the dogs.

I have boarded all 3 of my dogs on a few different occasions. They even helped me out with last minute boarding. Staff is always respectful, courteous and knowledgeable. Great place to go. I refer all my friends.

Where do I begin... the only reason I gave it one star was because I can't give them zero. When I picked up my two great danes they looked scared to see me. It looked like it hurt for them to get up and say hi to me after I called their names while laying on the wooden crate provided to sleep on for the two of them. We had brought our own beds for the pups to sit on and they where peed on, and let me tell you we have had these dogs since they where born and they have not peed in or on anything in the house whatsoever since the day we brought them home. After I had to retrieve my own dogs from the back, the attendant gave me stories of how she was unable to cut their nails and why their bowl where empty I cut her off and left the place because my dogs wanted to get out of there. Please don't bring your dog here for the connivence you will benefit better if you didn't my dogs where scared on the way to the park and cried for the first time.

I took my great dane to stay for a week. He came back very happy and actually wanted to stay. He is a very picky eater and came back with more weight on him. I would highly recommend them.
