While on a day trip, my engine overheated, and AAA Roadside Emergency Service dispatched Leonard's for us. They were responsive and gave us an accurate ETA. We were lucky they could accommodate the request to travel about 70 miles, so the car could be dropped at a repair shop within walking distance of my house. The driver, Tim, was professional and friendly. They sure bailed us out!! We would have been trapped in an unfamiliar rural area after dark.

Last weekend I found myself in a major bind when my muffler detached on my return trip home to Canada after visiting relatives in PA. I was already an hour away from my family, 2.5 hrs from home, had my dog with me, and it was a Sunday so it seemed like everywhere I called was closed. My muffler was literally dragging on the ground, so driving wasn't an option. Needless to say, I was stressed beyond belief. My relatives sent me a link to Leonard's, figuring someone would be there because of the tow service. Thankfully, they were right! I waited about 45 minutes, which to me was nothing if it meant getting someone to come out that day. The tow driver (I believe his name was Nicholas) arrived and suggested that he try to wire up the muffler to the car so I could get home. He went in with me to the local Autozone (where I was parked) and tried to look for something to wire it up, which, strangely they had nothing. By now, one of my relatives was on the way to me, and was able to pick up some mechanic's wire for him to use. The tow driver was so patient and never made me feel like I was being an inconvenience by asking him to wait. Once he had the wire, he got right to work. I don't even know how he managed to get under my car far enough to wire the muffler up, but he did it, and the muffler held up for my trip home. Him being able to do this on the spot was a lifesaver, and I was able to get home the same day. Thank you so much for helping me during what was a very stressful afternoon. Outstanding service.

Should have left this review a few months ago but life’s been busy! We unfortunately found ourselves in a position to need a tow in the middle of the night this past April after hitting a deer en route from Brampton, Ontario to Florida. AAA connected us with Leonard’s Auto Service for a tow and we are so glad they did! Our tow truck driver was friendly and helpful (I believe his name was Chris), and he towed myself, my husband and our two young children to a hotel in Meadville. This happened in the early hours of a Saturday morning, and pretty much everywhere was closed. We had to decide where we’d have our vehicle go to for repairs, and based on some reviews we asked our insurance company to have the vehicle taken to Leonard’s to wait on an appraisal and possibly complete repairs if it came down to it. The next gentleman who came to pick up our vehicle from the hotel that Monday was equally friendly and helpful.Given this was an insurance situation, there was a lot of back and forth…for about a month! I cannot say enough good things about Tanya. Of all the people I had to deal with through this entire ordeal (multiple people with our insurance company, AAA, car rental reps, hotel reps), Tanya was by far the most level-headed, kind, informative person who helped me feel at ease about the process and helped lay out what our best options were. I was actually disappointed to learn our vehicle would be leaving their possession and I wouldn’t have Tanya as a point of contact any longer!While I never want to find myself in need of a repair shop in PA (many hours from home) I would use Leonard’s again in a heartbeat! If anyone is reading this review and is in that area, you won’t be disappointed with Leonard’s staff. Thanks again to Tanya and our two tow truck drivers for everything!

Tow Service for my totaled SUV ////This review is long overdue!Leonard’s Auto Towing was absolutely amazing. My vehicle was totaled by no fault of my own and I was absolutely in shock of it all. Leonard’s representative arrived and was very professional and explained everything he was going to do with my destroyed SUV. This included where he was towing it to, how long I had to come get my personal items out (before the insurance company took possession of it) etc. The service I received from Leonard’s certainly helped make a horrible auto wreck, an easier process. I would give zero stars if possible. Possible the WORST service I have EVER received from ANYONE. The tow driver was extremely rude, cocky, and arrogant. Was of ZERO help. Wouldn’t give me his name when I asked for it because I was unhappy with the service. Called the shop to talk to a manager or supervisor and the woman who answered was just as cocky and rude. Will never recommend anyone use them.

Leonard‘s garage could not have been more helpful in a very difficult time for me. My JetSki trailer had a flat tire and Leonard was originally dispatched by AAA to come help me. There was some confusion but the next day I was recommended to give these folks a try to work on my trailer. Megan and Mandy were very helpful in the office and Travis their tow truck driver went and retrieved my trailer from another tow company’s lot and brought it over to their shop. The folks over there worked diligently and hard to get my trailer back to me as soon as possible and worked with me. They were very professional and thorough. They also cut a few discounts for me and when the trailer was done they physically took me into the garage area and explained what they did and how to prevent any further damage and precautions for preventing further incidents. I could not be happier with these folks. If you need anything done to a trailer or your vehicle these are the best and honest good people between Pittsburgh and Erie. Highly recommend them five stars don’t go to anybody else but Leonard’s and Leonard’s only.

We were driving home from Florida on interstate I 79 close to Meadville Penn. when our car overheated and either blew the motor or head gasket.We tried calling a few tow companies with no success, We contacted the State Troopers and told them our situation and they got Leonard's auto and towing for us. Leonard's took us back to their garage and transported us to a uhaul site that was a half hour away for a rental since there are no car rentals around that part of I-79. We knew the car was beyond any expense we wanted to put into it as we would have been looking at engine overhaul and the car had 150 k miles. Leonard's made a fair offer to buy the car that we all were happy and waited for me to send them the Title. We want to thank Tim our tow Driver and Megan one of the owners for going above and beyond.This type of customer service is a rarity in this day and age.So if your ever in a need for a tow in this part of the state take note of this company. Highly recommend! I was initially provided services through AAA with Leonard's Auto service. Their driver was very kind, efficient, and I felt safe once they got to my spot on the busy highway. He quickly helped change my tire to my spare and got me back on the road. After he changed my spare, I called the shop to see if they were able to patch the tire that was flat, and without any questioning, they told me to go ahead and bring it in and got it done in a timely manner! I am a college student with my car on campus. I'd been trying for a month to get my battery replaced (knew I needed a new one very soon) and I just kept hitting roadblocks at every point. Tried Autozone several times but they said they wouldn't replace my battery because it was too difficult to access on my make and model. I called AAA, and they came out for battery service without a replacement so that went nowhere. Called them back to see if they would install a battery I bought on my own time and they said no. At this point my car is not drivable at all without a jumpstart. I got connected to Leonard's through AAA and asked what they could do (independent of AAA). They sent out drivers to jump my car and drive it back to the shop and replaced my battery. They ALSO noticed my car was up for inspection so they called me to see if I wanted that done. I had an emissions issue so they took care of that as well as the battery. All in all the charge was about $300-$400 and they had my car for all of ~36 hours. Leonard's has my business as long as I'm at college up here.Service: Battery

We had a "Blow out" tire on our travel trailer along I-79. It sounded like a bomb went off! I called numerous towing companies and got responses of: we only do commercial vehicles, we don't do interstate work d/t liability, we're too far away and finally - throw a 4x4 under your camper and do it yourself. Meanwhile the traffic passing by was rocking us and the camper side to side... terrifying! Leonard's towing was the ONLY one who offered to help. Megan went out of her way and dispatched 2 trucks to ensure our safety and their drivers! Tim arrived 1st and proceeded to change our tire. Jason arrived minutes later with the 2nd truck. We were safely on our way in no time. We are soooo thankful for Leonard's towing and their caring and capable staff!!! P.S. - move over when you see a vehicle on the side of the road. I highly recommend Leonard’s! They towed my car from an accident. They all were very kind. When I came to get some of my belongings, they were very compassionate and showed great empathy. They kindly helped me get my license plate and talked to me about what is likely to happen and answered all my questions. My two children (3) and (5) were present. I had no other choice to bring them, but was worried what would happen when they saw mommies car. The staff gave them popsicles, engaged with them and made them laugh. Thank you Leonards for going above and beyond! From towing my car from scene, to my car being deemed totaled and the process of releasing my car, Leonard’s has followed up with me and communicated with me. Your entire company brought me ease during a very traumatic and difficult time. Thank you!

Car was impounded after an accident. You must call ahead to have someone meet you at the impound site. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They assisted when I had difficulty getting into the car and they also gave me useful information. Not open on weekends and you or your insurance company will be charged a daily fee.

For my own uses I request Leonard's whenever I use my triple A service. They are reliable, respectful and know their stuff. They have all the bases covered if you need a tow truck or a flatbed they will have you covered.

One of their toe trucks was at one of the garages that I was at dropping a car off. The tow truck then proceeds to block off the one and only exit from the place for 20 minutes prohibiting anyone from exiting. Called to file a complaint and as I was upset I used one swear word to describe the truck and she said don't swear and he will move it as fast as possible. It was like they didnt even care the driver of the truck did not come and ask first or anything. Just a typical big rig road hog. I'm bigger then you so you just wait. Terrible and frustrating :(

After a bit of a fiasco dealing with the police officer who had my car towed, dealing with Leonard's towing was a relief. I do not suggest anyone go to this garage. They never have anything in order, no one has any sort of communication. We have been hearing for the past week they'd call us back about our vehicle and we have heard nothing and its been a week. Anytime we call the tell us we need to call back. Very unprofessional organization. They are charging us $45 a day for it to sit there. They should be the ones paying that fee. Great customer service costs a business nothing. Poor customer service costs a business everything.

So I got a flat tire call AAA around 12pm scheduled me with Peterson‘s towing they couldn’t do it so they rescheduled me with this place I called them to see if the person was on their way cause I’m supposed to get text updates I didn’t get a single update they said yes the guy left 10 to 15 minutes ago and he should be there soon so I said OK sounds great I will see him then another 34 minutes goes by and he still not here so I called back to see where he was they told me that he stopped at a different location to help someone else , obvi I got upset and panicked I’ve been waiting over an hour and I have to be to work at 2 . So the women says hold on and then I assume the owner comes onto the phone and again I was panicking cause this whole process has been nothing but stress for me . Their driver is about 20 minutes away still and tbh I said I don’t have time to wait that long I should have been serviced at the time I was informed I would be they should take the call in the order it came inside or AT LEAST SAY HE HAS TO STOP AT ONE LOCATION BEFORE YOU SO ITLL BE A LITTLE LONGER !! So the guy says you know what I’m just gonna call AAA and have them find someone else to come help you and I said no sir please don’t do that I cannot wait another 40 minutes for someone else to come and his response was sassy and said well you can’t wait for him to stop and help someone else that is stressed out so well call AAA and have someone else help u so Yes i am upset because I was already supposed to be helped I was not informed that he was going to help someone else first and then I said please don’t do that I will wait for your employee to come here I would much rather wait 20 minutes then another hour for a whole Nother business to come . Then the gentleman hung up the phone on me and went through with calling AAA and telling them to get someone else to help me and when I called AAA they said that the people that were coming we’re literally 45 minutes away . So no these people are not friendly they don’t want to help you especially if you’re stressed out and having a bad day already !
