My daughter and I were shopping tonight - we saw a sign that said GARDEN SUPPLIES BUY ONE GET HALF OFF. I started filling my basket with things for my large woodland fairy/gnome garden - how exciting it was! As we were putting the stuff in our basket, the night shift manager and another very bright haired employee practically moved/pushed my daughter out of the way and ripped down the buy one get one half off sign, as well as some other sale signs, right in front of us. They said nothing.It's not like they were there, taking down signs, and we interrupted them on their duty. Not at all. They saw us shopping too much I guess and filling our basket with about 5-6 little dollar fairy garden statues and they pushed through to yank the sign down right after we were about done.I wrongly assumed they would honor the price, since they saw us putting those things in the basket before they took the sign down. When I got to the register, the bright haired woman said no, they do not honor the pricing on signs if they are wrong. She told us the deal was over yesterday. I wonder if people bought some of that stuff today thinking it was on sale, and didn't check their receipts and got ripped off.I didn't buy any of that crap and will now go OUT OF MY WAY to shop somewhere else.

I just got out, and there was only 1 cashier, and she was outside smoking when I got here and didn't come back till I was standing in line for a while, and then she smelled terrible! Didn't get her name but she was an older lady with LOTS of makeup and a little strand of hair on each side dyed pink.

It is convenient to have this store in town BUT... they are really slow restocking the shelves so large carts tend to block off entire aisles. The biggest problem however, is that the price you pay at the register for an item is very often quite a bit more than what is posted as the price. The price tags on the shelves are always lower than what is actually rung up at the register, so your total is higher than it should be. This happens almost every time I am in there.

The people that work there are typically nice but the store is always a mess. Almost impossible to push a cart in any of the aisles.

Overall a good store to get stuff that you need. However it seems a lot of times towards the end of the week they seem to run out of some Staples. The main concern with that store is not enough cashiers you typically have to wait in line a considerable amount of time. :-(

Local small town dollar general comes in handy all the time. Idk what I'd do without having one within 10 mins. Sometimes they're the only store with the item (and also they have the best prices out of all the options.) Ours recently got a makeover and besides me getting used to the new layout I love it! More items in stock too so I can get more groceries and home decor closer to home!

Wow I was finally able to get the coke on sale, today. It only took 4 trips, but if you go ehen they unlock the door, you might get some. Shelves are quite empty. Someone is not doing a very good job or either ordering or seeing the shelves get stock. Thinking it might be time to start start shopping else where. Tired of no specials and other products that I want to buy!

The customer service was great. This store could use some help organizing though. It was over stocked and hard to figure out what price goes with what. A lot of things not discounted with discounted items( done by store not ppl leaving extra stuff.)

Thank goodness for Dollar General. I can get most everything in need there. Sometimes I just don't feel like going to a large grocery store. I love that they are building more and more Store's in the Country.

On a road trip... In desperate need of a restroom with no other option than to ask for key to restroom. LIARS... cashier said they had No restroom; then she said no public restroom; when asked what she did for a restroom, she was she said she used a Porta potty. 3 mean lies in a row. I saw a person on the floor and asked if she was a manager and she said yes she was. I explained my dire situation! She insisted several times that she could not allow me to use the restroom. Only when I began to search for an alternative solution to relieve myself... Like purchasing towels or clean clothes for the mess I would certainly make did the manager {Mary something} say to me in a gruff tone, "Comma.. Comma". I followed her as she rushed past me to the public restroom area which she unlocked. The sign on the bathroom door read "OUT OF ORDER". The restroom was clean and functioning properly! Liar liar pants on fire...not customer friendly at all! From Cleveland on a road trip and all the Pennsylvania people we met were Welcoming and hospitable all along the way... Just NOT this Dollar General!

Staff is friendly. Store a little cluttered with stock carts. Prices are decent not much more than big stores even have better prices on some items than supermarkets.

The store is not big enough. They are running out of staff really fast. U have to be there the first day of the sells or u what get it. The employees a very nice and helpful and the store is very clean.

Sure their products are cheap, but they are also some of the lowest quality you will find. Customer service was very bland as well.

Luv DG for one main reason, they're open seven days a week, plus they are also open later than most. So you can always get just about anything you need.

The staff at the Cochranton Dollar General are always friendly and helpful. The store is clean and well organized with plenty of parking.

I believe this store would profit much more with the addition of more frozen , refrigerated, and foodspace in general.
