I loved the location of the Hampton. Very peaceful. It was also one of the quietest hotels I have stayed in. I was here on homecoming weekend. They were sold out and had a group of children. They must have excellent insulation, because I never heard people walking above me or in the rooms next door. I worked a long day and had no distractions. It was an older Hampton, but they keep it clean. I loved the desk - easy to work from. I liked the coffeemaker on the desk. It is the cleanest single coffeemaker I have had in a room to date. I used it every day. The staff was all nice. The front desk was welcoming. When I walked in, there was a smell of fresh baked cookies. Have not encountered warm chocolate chip cookies in quite a while. The pool was very busy with kids, so did not have a chance to use it, but noticed it was a nice area. I love oatmeal for breakfast, so was happy to see a warm tub ready to go. Much better than packets. They had a nice selection of breakfast cereal. Wish they had Greek yogurt. No fresh fruit.

I have stayed at this hotel on multiple occasions and it is my favorite one I've visited regularly. For me, what sets it apart is the quietness. It's tucked away from the highway so there's very little ambient noise outside the building, but it's close enough to the main highway it isn't hard to get to. For me, that's the most important piece for a hotel to provide.Rooms: The rooms are very quiet, clean, and spacious. It's easy to relax here!Safety: This area is very safe, it's very unlikely you would be in any danger.Walkability: It is NOT a walkable distance to anywhere. This is definitely not the place to stay if you look forward to accessible attractions.

Kayla Shook was the manager on duty during our stay. She was SOOO helpful. We needed a late checkout and then had an issue needing even one more hour beyond that. She was able to move the folks who were going to be in that room next and give us another hour - she even called us back to let us know that she was able to make it work! We also needed to print something off and the business center printer wasn’t working, so she had us email it to her, so she could print it for us. She greeted us every time we came and left and remembered us when we came up to ask questions. She made the experience great!!

We stayed here about a month ago and were very pleased with our stay. Our room was booked through a link from google maps and unfortunately, it changed the date of our reservation to a week later without us noticing. Upon arrival, we were shocked that our reservation was for the wrong date. The desk clerk (I don't remember her name) was SUPER helpful and got permission to put us in a best-match room at no extra charge and we were beyond thankful. In addition, the bed seemed brand new and was extremely comfortable, everything was very clean and seemed recently updated, and the breakfast was a bit better than we expected. (Other Hampton Inns we stayed at on this trip had fewer options.)

Easy to locate. Breakfast very few options but was still very good. Although they are pet friendly, they keep all pets on the 1st floor. They could use more rooms for pets.. especially essentials for for our furry family members. We thought bc it was pet friendly they would have pet bowls, towels, shampoo, or a pet bed..but we were sadly mistaken. Staff was wonderful upon our arrival. Unfortunately when requested for late checkout we were lied too. They were very rude as they rushed us out the doors. Receptionist kept calling up to the room to see if we were out the door yet😞Rooms: Our pet friendly room did not have anything pet related; no toys, no beds, no shampoo, no food or water bowls, no towels, no toys, not even poop bags.. it was rather disappointing and confusing. She was so bored. Pet friendly rooms are only on one level.. I found that rather dangerousFood & drinks: McDonald's, Burger King, Giant Eagle and a Pilot are within walking distance.Noteworthy details: Pet friendly rooms should have accomodations for our pets! They do not have a fenced in area for our pets to, safely, burn off some energy

Amazing experience. I have never stayed at this location. I have driven by many times. It's a little away from everything. So if you are using doordash, your options are limited. But the rooms are clean, and we'll stocked for what your needs are. From t desk associates are very knowledgeable and service friendly. They make sure that before you leave you have all you need. If not, they make themselves available to you as if you were the only one there. I will come back again.

Typical Hampton Inn off the beaten path. In what appears to be a nearly empty industrial park which makes for a quiet night. Staff was very friendly, close to the University with 2 names. Breakfast is free and decent, room was clean, elevator worked. What more do you want? Might even be able to get a picture of a Sasquatch if you explore the area during mating season.

I’m not quite sure how to grade this hotel….The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. It was very, very clean as well. But…For an extra $30/night as opposed to every other Hilton/Hampton around me, it had very little special features. 1/4 soda pop machines worked or they were sold out of everything or they took your money and gave you no drink. There were no vending machines with food or snacks anywhere in the hotel. Which I found strange. I stayed in a king size “suite.” The bathroom was smaller and less technologically advanced than mine at home. Shower head looked 10+ years old. Like I said…$30 more per night, I was expecting it be much much more updated than it was considering how new the hotel is.

Summary: Went there for the Hilton name, and was disappointed - in fact, it’s a stain upon Hilton’s name and reputation. Will not be returning.Issues:- BEDBUGS (a full on infestation that likely spans multiple floors)- No functional kettle (and the coffee machine and related items are in the bathroom - just why?)- No complementary water bottles- Overpriced and repulsive “snack shop”- AC sounds like the demon love child of a jet engine and horror movieThe entire fourth floor is infected with bedbugs, and not to mention, it feels much dirtier than I would expect for the hefty price tag. My stay was discounted by 50% for the inconvenience, which is appreciated, but is nothing compared to the monumental amount of money I’d have to spend if I got a bedbug infestation in my own home.Despite the staff being quite kind, there is no room service or food delivery (to the room), even for something as basic as toothpaste, you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The food in the “sweet shop” is a vertices and some of the actual meals (Lean Cuisine and cup Mac and Cheese) are nothing short of repulsive and not even Jesus Christ himself knows how long they’ve been sitting there. The breakfast was acceptable.Moving on to the rooms, they of course had the aforementioned bedbug infestation, but the bathrooms were decent. However, there was no kettle, only a hot water boiler/coffee machine that ONLY with tis for coffee, not even for the Mac and cheese sold in the store - there is no way to turn it off and you literally have to pull the plug if you want to make it stop, by which point the water will have already spilled everywhere. In addition, there was no complementary water bottle refill or anything, which is admittedly a minor inconvenience. The AC has no speed controls and can only be controlled via the thermostat, this is fine, but the issue is that without the AC, the room is eerily quiet, but the AC sounds like a jet engine and a horror movie soundtrack had a demon love child - they’ve somehow managed to make it extravagantly loud while having a high pitched horror movie sounds that makes it very creepy)In conclusion, I went there for the Hilton name and the prestige that comes with it but was sorely disappointed and will not be returning as a customer.

When you think of a hotel, you think of an relaxing experience. But this. This was bad. It was amazing when we started it was nice and clean. But now, they have downgraded. There is a lingering smell of smoke from cigars, people who practically lived there, and once there were dirty sheets on the pull out bed. Clearly nobody here cared. The thing that made us move was the fact that they canceled our room without us knowing. I hope that the cleanliness will improve but this has left an impact. I could recommend some other hotels that are ten times better than this one. If I could rate this less, I would.

I have stayed at this property in the past. I was convenient since it’s so close to California University of PA. It was great when we stayed in the beginning of the year but when we returned for the new school year it seemed to have deteriorated. There were people who seemed like remnants. The garbage was overflowing and there were bags of garbage in the hallway. The latest issue was our room was cancelled because, I was told, that they were overbooked. I assume that when you reserve a room you have a place to stay for the night. After driving for 7 hours that’s not a problem I need to deal with! I have more weekends booked at this property in the upcoming weeks and now rethinking if I have to find another hotel in order to be sure I have a place to stay for the weekend!
