I grew up in Clymer and lived there for 39 years. Tate's has been there long before me, thats speaks tons for the store. Every week sales that are great, a meat market that is very hard to beat. Family owned with a staff that is excellent. Go there and see for yourself.

We had Tate’s prepare pulled pork, a chicken variety and Cowboy beans for a small get together. Lori was fantastic to work with and the food was absolutely delicious. The food was boxed up and ready for me to pick up. We made some other dishes, but having Tate’s help with the cooking, made entertaining easy.

Best family owned store for over a 100 years now. They go with the times. Providing bulk foods, great customer service. They treat their employees with respect and that's why so many has retired from there. If they don't have it in stocks. They try to order it for you.

This is a nice small town grocery store. A lot of the times when I go there is someone offering to take the items out of my cart, bag them and even offer to take the groceries out for me.They have a nice general selection of merchandise and the prices are reasonable.It is conveniently located, clean and well lit. Even the carts are in nice shape, I've never had one with a squeaky wheel yet.

If I could give them 0 stars I would I had the worst experience of my entire life someone by the name of Lori I believe was very rude and not very helpful made my experience 10 times worse everyone else was trying but she was not she just seemed like she didn’t want to be there.

Disappointing honestly. It seems like it could be an awesome place but I always leave disappointed. Their congeniality seems to end with the people they know. It could be such a cool small town old-time grocery store, which it may be if they know you, I’ll never know as I’ll be hard pressed to return after today. If I do, it’ll be in desperation. 😟

Haven't been here for years as I moved. Stopped when I was in town and I loved the selection. Saw things I don't see at the bigger stores. As my wife and I like Redstone candy, it was nice to see the large selection when we first walked in.

Small town friendly store. Your basic grocery store with bakery, deli, and meat departments, but no speciality that I saw like live seafood. I don't recall seeing a gluten free section/sign, however I don't used gluten free so not sure.

My favorite part of my shopping experience was how nice our check out lady was. I enjoyed the meat also. Very niceI don't live in Clymer but I'll be back here again that's for sure!!

Excellent small town grocery store. Sells all the basics you need at reasonable prices.Family owned and gives many young people the opportunity for first employment and the chance to learn what it means to have a job.

People rave about the meats. Steaks were nice, but use caution when buying ground beef on sale. I'd bet dollars to donuts they ground ice with the meat. Sooo much water that our burgers boiled.

Great store, great prices, and the staff is unlike anything else. Just great people and a very nice place to shop. You wouldn't regret paying this place a visit!

Great staff, they'll take your cart out for you and help load your car if you need the help, prices are terribly high for most things but the meat is fresh and great quality. You can get some good deals but mostly everything is over priced.

I live about 5 miles away from Tate's and actually it's the only place I grocery shop at least in the last past 3 years everything I need is there and produce is fresh fruits and vegetables almost always in great shape don't buy the ones that are at the far end of the counter though their meats are fresh cut Bakery and Deli on site good prices that match anyone anywhere else almost always and with Walmart Martin's and several other large chains my preference is still Tate's

Everything is the same as it was 20 years ago inside. It's kept clean and neat and they have the best customer service ever. They will bag your groceries for you and even take them to and put them in your vehicle if needed.

Went down to do some shopping, no cashier's, a line a mile long, they just continue to decline in service and quality by the day. Tate's is a former shell of itself. Meat quality is terrible also.

Great small town grocery store. Best meat section in any store I've been to. Use discernment on some items in the store that are priced a little high. Staff is always offering to help you load your groceries.

Best place to go for genuine customer service. It's like stepping back in time. The cashiers are friendly, no one is standing around gossiping. I shop here above anywhere.
