The store is very conveniently located along Baltimore pike inside a plaza with plenty of ample free parking. The store is a nice size and well lit from outside at night time. Very handicap accessible with large sliding doors upon entry. To the left of the main entrance is the grooming section. They seemed very attentive to whether we would enter their area but we did not. When you walk in the main entrance you will immediately notice the large signs that hang from the ceiling that identify each section. Everything is pretty easy to find. The staff is very friendly and helpful in directing you if there's something you can't find. We were greeted with a smile and a friendly voice inflection. Very accurately sent to the area we needed to find. The prices are decent and the purchase we made was high quality. Overall it was an excellent customer service experience, in a clean, well run establishment.(Side note. I left my cell phone on the counter when I was checking out and didnt realize until more than an hour later. They put it away for safe keeping and were so happy and cheerful to return it because they said sometimes people never come back for the lost items! They wouldn't even accept the cash reward I offered. Great staff. Excellent manager!)

My furbabies love this place my pocket hates it. I just wish they would make animal stuff more affordable. If they made animals less expensive to keep more people could help and keep them.

Most of the time they have what you need. Most of the employees are super helpful but sometimes you get that person who is trying to find every reason to say no.I recently needed to do returns and she made it very difficult and demanded that I locate the orders on my phone and that she couldn't return anything over 30days old. When I stepped aside to search my phone, a gentleman came over to assist and found the orders and completed the returns without issue. It was an unnecessary experience. I got store credit and went about my day.

The associate Ash is perfect! She's very informative and helpful. I went to purchase a ball python enclosure and she made sure no stone was left unturned! She made sure I had proper equipment and knowledge... really made me feel way more confident than I was walking in!

My Petco store is on Baltimore Pike. CLIFTON HTS 01724 PAI really enjoy my visits at this Petco!The Staff are always pleasant. The store is always very clean and well stocked.I came in last night for store Kitty Litter. The price is right, and I can reuse my bucket for my next visit! I Love It Here! I Live About 20 Minutes Away But I Was In The Area So I Stopped By.Bill Is Absolutely AMAZING! He Was So Kind, Patient, Friendly, Informative, & Helpful. As A New Puppy Owner I Have No Idea What I Am Doing, I Couldn’t Even Calm Her Down When Bill Approached Us But He Was Able To Settle Her Down. My Puppy Even Peed On The Floor While We Were Talking & Bill Cleaned It For Me With No Hesitation. He Also Gave Me Some Great Tips On How To Train My Puppy Better, I’m Seeing Improvements Already! Chase Was Also Extremely Kind, Helpful, & Knowledgeable About The Requirements To Get A Dog Groomed At Petco. I Am Very Impressed By The Quality Of Service I Received At This Location.

Victoria is very professional, pleasant and knowledgeable. She does a great job with my Pitt bull terrier. I only take my furbaby to this location to get groomed. She hates the kennel dry so they also give her that special attention she needs. Keep up the great job!

I visited my local store for deworming medication. I didn’t know what type of worms my dog had so I asked a young lady for help. She gave me an all in one medication that would help for 4 different types of worms. She was very patient, pleasant and knowledgeable. She had to sit on the floor to get the medicine out of the cabinet , and my intrusive, no boundaries having bulldog sat right in her lap until she was done.

Love that store!!!My ex had an infection in her tank that hurt her fish. I am a cat girl and no nothing about fish!Still the team in petco was more then nice, listend and helpd me to find the right medicine.My ex say her fish are much much better!Thank you Petco!

AVOID THIS PET STORE AT ALL COSTS!!! Reason being is because I recently bought two betta fish at this store and both died because of using Distilled Water instead of Spring Water. In other words they give the wrong information! Another reason is the rude and unprofessional customer service here! Not too long ago I went up to this guy named Mike, who gave the wrong information by the way, and was going to ask for his help about which betta breed is necessary for the Mini Cube 1.6 Gallon Tank. I asked if he busy and he goes "Am I with the fish right now" and I say "yes" and then he goes "then there's your answer" after that I just walked away and out of the store! That kind of customer service is UNACCEPTABLE!!! This guy needs to be fired at once! Next time anyone wants to get a pet, go to Petsmart instead, they're customer service is more professional and welcoming, they actually give you the correct information on the animals, and the staff are super sweet! So yeah, Petco 0/10! Just Unacceptable!

I dont mind this location..its ok..but everytime i go there, the front ck out person isnt really polite...she doesnt say hello & never adds my vital discount points. Then when i tell her she gets more of an attitude. For a minute i thought it was just me..but after she rung me up, AGAIN she didnt say nothen & handed me the receipt..When the lady behind walked up she was all smiles to her. I started to say somethen but i figured i just leave it alone & just continue to support the other two Petco's i go to. The one in media is extremely nice & very friendly. Also the one in drexel hill. So i wont really be using clifton heights anymore not unless i have to. The 3stars is basically for store support because of the animals.

I went in not aware it was almost closing time purchased cat and dog food also the worker took time to explain how I would be able to tell my bird is an boy or girl very helpful because I want to get her another friend to hang out with but now not so sure I'll just buy her an lot of toys to play with because two girl birds do not get along. I went in on 03-25-2023 and you have to watch them check your receipt because they did not even care when the over charged us by $19 dollars gave it back but we're guilty SMH
