I called to set up an estimate appointment and someone came out later the same day. He didn't bring the samples he was supposed to, so he measured the area and said he'd get back to me "within a day or so" with the cost. I never heard from anyone again. It's been two weeks so I'll just find someone else. Flaky business practice.

We had new hardwoods put down in 3 rooms. Ed was so great in helping us figure out just what we wanted. He is friendly and knowledgeable.... and worked within the time frame we needed. I'd definitely recommend Stevens Carpet One! **Edited to add (Jan 2020). We have lived in our house less than 6 months. We have found 4 spots where the wood has chipped/gouged on the edges of the boards (not by us dropping things on it) and was very rough. My daughter actually got a giant splinter from it (which is how we even realized there was a problem initially). Not super happy with the quality of the material (we have no pets and aren't doing anything crazy that would equate to damaging the flooring). Ed came out twice to check things out and sent his guys over to sand the spots and put a little matching stain on. Not my ideal solution, as I'm sure over time the spots will just continue to get worse... but it is what it is, I guess.

Horrible customer serviceI Received an estimate on 03/29/21 for carpet installation on my stairwell. I was informed it would be a “couple weeks” until someone could come Install it. In early May i missed a call from carpet one and i called them back 8 minutes later. They informed me that they filled the slot in those 8 minutes and would be in touch in the coming days to set up an appointment. It’s now July 17th and i have yet to hear from carpet one. Lowe’s it is!!!
