I was in the ER with my child and they prescribed us an antibiotic. I’ve always used Dubois Rite Aid and the experience was top notch. I went to this pharmacy and was told they needed a prior authorization for the antibiotic my daughter needed. I walked outside and I called the ER. They told me they would call Rite Aid. I went back into the store. Niki - the pharmacy manager - was rude and condescending. She refused to look at the insurance I had listed. She said the ER would not be calling them and then wouldn’t even let me pay cash for my daughters necessary medication. The customer service is terrible here. I won’t ever visit this location again. I do not recommend using this location for your prescription needs.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Pharmacy hours just barely work for standard first shift jobs and there's no pharmacy on weekends. We tried to fill an emergency prescription straight from a doctor after a major surgery and they didn't have a single pharmacist in to fill in. It's good that, there are other options to rely on...Edit: The prescription was already ran through insurance on a Friday before the pharmacists left and is unable to be filled by a reliable pharmacy. Now we're stuck without the needed meds for the weekend.Edit 2: We called this morning to try and get things straightened out and the store manager tried to turn it on us saying we "should have gotten there before 1". We were in surgery post-op and pharmacy hours state they're open until 6. She refused to help us find a solution and blamed everyone else. There was no sympathy for the situation and when I asked for her name so I could escalate the issue, she hung up. Issue has been brought up to corporate and even the customer service rep there was appalled at the way it was handled.

The most laziest places every I swear I stand in line for 10 min just hearing them talking in the back around talking away so I got tired of it and want to self check out amd it was giving me trouble so she told me to come to the register wish I was just Thier if she wasn't just talking her life way maybe she would seen me Thier wish she could get fire bc she never does anything when I'm their anyway!!

I have never had a bad experience with a Rite Aid until moving here. The staff have been very rude, they’ve made me wait 15+ minutes when there were no other customers present, and they’ve ‘forgotten’ to fill or filled my prescription late 3 MONTHS in a row even though it is on auto-refill. I would avoid this place at all costs for regularly scheduled prescriptions.

This pharmacy is never open. The hours keep changing, and never call to tell you that your prescription is ready. Went 3 different times, and it was closed hours before the scheduled hours. Today at 1:00 when hours to close are 5. Dobe with this place.

Made the switch from CVS and I couldn’t be more happy! Insurance companies can be a huge pain…when I switched from CVS both of my insurance were not sent. When I went to pick up my scripts from Rite Aid they did have my secondary insurance …something went wrong, Nicki, the pharmacist, spent over an hour on the phone advocating for me….dealing with the insurance company’s lack of compassion and knowledge…she never once made me feel like a burden! I can never thank her enough!!

A new pharmacist has taken over and she was great this morning. I was very upset when I went in but she reassured me my prescriptions would be ready today and they are done already. I have had horrible experiences here the last 3 months but hopefully this new pharmacist and her team have it better. They went from 2 weeks behind to just 2 days. So shout-out to Clearfield to give her and her team a chance.....things are getting better!!

This Pharmacy has become a joke in our little town. If somebody ask you where you want your prescription called into. If you say Rite Aid they say good luck. Rite Aid tells me my doctor does not respond to refill a prescription. I have never had this problem until Rite Aid. Recently they won’t even answer the phone. When I go to pick up medicine either in my car or standing in line in the store I’m sure to be there at least an hour. Disappointed to have to be concerned about getting our medicine.

Went to pick up my prescription. They handed it to me after I waited in line half a century…… and I went home. Come to find out they gave me 12 of my medication when the package said I was supposed to have 42. I called them and they left me on hold for 30 minutes; never picked back up. So I hung up and called a total of 3 times with them never picking up once. I drove to the pharmacy and the lady “Nikki” told me that I must have lost a portion of my prescription or maybe it was stolen. I asked her to review the cameras and she said “it’s my day off and I don’t have time right now.” She was extremely rude and condescending. I had to call the Boro Police because “Nikki” wouldn’t do anything about it. Only after getting the police involved did they call me and tell me that it was their mistake and that my other portion of my prescription was there the whole time.

I get that Rite Aid had to eventually upgrade it's location from an outdated mess in a near-abandoned strip mall. And I'm also not immediately giving this location 1 star because the place really hasn't opened in full yet. But I feel like the first weeks of the move to this location has kinda disappointed. Lines are slow and the parking lot honestly feels too cramped for a new location that just absorbed 2 pharmacies' customer bases. I have no idea if it will improve eventually, only time will tell. I have since taken my business elsewhere.

They refused to fill my prescription because I wasn’t an “established customer, prescribing doctor is not from the area, and it was a scheduled medication.” As soon as I walked in and said my name the pharmacist instantly said “No, nope, no.” And was shaking her head. The tech proceeded to look on the computer and then went over and whispered to the pharmacist before coming to tell me they refused to fill my medication. First of all, just walk over and tell me why YOU refused to fill it. Second, it is prescribed to me from a doctor- your job is to fill my prescription. Not decide if I need the medication or not!!!! Plus staff were dirty and not dressed in any professional manor what so ever.

Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. You better call your script in a whole day early! They take 1-2 days to fill ONE script. An then when you get there, THEY CAN NEVER FIND IT! Takes me 10-30 minutes to get my script that is already ready, every, single, time, cuz they can't find it. Every single time I've went in, every script, 3 of them a month sometimes, same thing every month. The pharmacist all the way on the side seems like a nice decent person. And did I mention it seems like it's all their first day, everyday? Lol.

This place needs to get it together, I was told my meds would be ready after 3, pulled up to the window, then I was told to wait for another 20 minutes, now understand this was my second trip to Clearfield,because I was told the very same thing, the day before, and I live 25 miles one way away from Clearfield, total b.s.,I will be finding another pharmacy...

I really liked the old Rite Aid store. Everyone was nice and helpful. But since this new location has opened I am now switching my whole family to a new pharmacy. 95 percent of the time they do not answer the phone. It breaks my heart for the elderly or disabled people that need to speak to someone about their meds. They can't physically go there in person so it leaves people in jeapordy. The customer service is horrible. Very rude. Like your bothering them so it makes me uncomfortable. The store itself is nice. But the prices are high. $5 for a small box of cereal???On top of it I've had nonstop problems with the price of my meds. I paid $1 for a depression med for years with Clearfield pharmacy but now it's $40??? It's either I pay or go without which would not be good for anyone.So I guess back to Walmart (ughhhh) or heck I might just switch to the Medicine Shopp in Dubois where I am at least treated with respect. Sorry Rite Aid. DO BETTER!!!!

This place is terrible there always way to busy always messing up my prescriptions. They never answer there phone. And always needing refills that take forever to get filled. I been without some medicine over the way they do things . I don't know why they took over the clearfield pharmacy but there terrible compared to them . I miss that pharmacy they were very good. This place needs to do betterb.

They actually hung up on me when I called, right in the middle of my question. They keep posting job openings like they will hire more help, and then take them down before they are filled. I was also told they are "unable" to return money to a card when returning an unused item with a receipt, even though the worker said "I know other stores can do it, but not here." This pretty much sums it up for their entire store.

Used to be great before they bought Clearfield pharmacy. Old rite aid employees are the only good ones, Clearfield pharmacy techs and pharmacists are rude and should not work with the public!Switched to city drugs of curwensville. Very happy with my decision.

I went in to get my second vaccine shot. And I couldn't get it because everything was canceled because of computers have been down for a couple days. And they didn't even call to tell me. I got a text message Thursday to confirm my appointment and I push the response to say I was going.

People are kind of rude. And when I have meds needing refilled they act like it's a chore to fill the prescription and there is always an excuse. I call and they tell me it will be ready in an hour and I go there and they don't have it ready. They never even started it. Why lie? Smh... Never had this problem when it was clearfield pharmacy.

Don't waste your time with this pharmacy, they are rude, incompetent and slow. They don't care about the customers, they take days to fill your prescriptions and you stand in line an hr when they do finally fill them, it's not worth the frustration or the attitude and rudeness of their staff! Never had a worse experience.

Terrible. Pharmacy has weird hours, and closes randomly without notice. Horrible for people who rely on their medication daily to function.

Worst place ever! Be prepared to wait for your prescriptions in a long line. Very slow and although you reorder your prescription days in advance, it seems they wait to fill it when you get there. DO NOT be in a hurrry. Poor customer service.

They are SO RUDE!!!! The people that were at last location b4 moving to downtown Clfd are still very nice, its the employees that were with Clfd Pharmacy WHO ARE IGNORANT & RUDE..Much better place when they were in plaza on Clearfield/Curwensville Hwy!!

I appreciate the fact that they appear to be understaffed. The issue is made worse by making promises that they cannot deliver. This will be the last day that I do business with them. I would be better off driving to another community as it would be faster. They do not do same day service well at all.

Every single time I call NO one answers..... They never have my Medicine done or they say the doctor never did his part with getting it refilled and or they blame my Insurance when that's not the case .... Rite Aid Sucks!! I highly do not Recommended them at all!!!
