I called in the morning 1/ 20 /24 to order 4 hoagies for a party I was having that evening. The lady I talked to in the deli was so polite and kind. My husband was able to pick them up by 11.I was advised by 2 of the men I work with that these are some of the best hoagies so I took their advice and ordered them and they were so right, they were delicious!Thank you JG worker you made this a wonderful experience, I just wish I could remember your name,you deserve recognition.

It is convenient, but everything is extremely expensive. You can get probably the same thing less at Walmart.However they do have items that you can't find at other grocery stores in Clearfield.

They have a pretty good selection of produce. (Some sourced locally) They have been bringing in more items for a wider selection such as gluten free and vegan. The workers are all very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a hometown store experience that is easier on the wallet this is the place to go.

First time here and I was not impressed. The place seemed cramped and I got the feeling of being uneasy here. Clerks seemed to be disgusted with their surroundings.

I’ve never been anywhere where there was so much stuff that needed shelved, boxes and boxes everywhere literally piled high. EVERY WHERE! The place is usually packed but this was over the top!

First time shopping here. Some prices were quite a bit higher than at a Walmart or other store but then others were considerably lower. They also had some products you can't find at other stores. I will definitely return for the fact I can get my favorite pop tarts there! 😉

They have wonderful people that work here ... A few have become like family to me ... Fresh produce .. Meat section is great, I love them, having there own butcher ..The changed milk companies, not a fan of the yellow jug.. They stop selling Gallon of Swiss Tea . Prices have gone up on a lot of things.. There subs are awesome ... Love Arizona Tea and they carry it .. Keep up the good work..

My family and I moved to Clearfield a little over a month ago. This place is 3 blocks from the house and has become a favorite stop. Reminds me of old timey stores. Love it.Edit: this place is still great but it just have to mention my daughter absolutely ADORES Clara piano. Sometimes she wants to go see her even when we don't need groceries!

I always go to this store when I'm visiting Clearfield! It has all of my favorite things from my childhood. It's so quaint and everyone is always friendly. I love how it hasn't changed! 💜

They never charge you what is on tags anymore it says one amount and they charge different amounts. The 2nd cashier put her closed sign up even though the clerk was busy she had to call another cashier to help. I could tell she was new but over all she did a great job.

I rather go to that market to pick up hamburger and chicken . Hamburger seams to have good taste,when cooked. They always have a very nice Selection ,of everything that I use.

It's a pleasant surprise that JG is still in business at this former A&P location. But low prices, good quality, great staff, and friendly cashiers seems sufficient to "bring 'em back". We shopped there often when we lived in Clearfield back in the 1980s.

This store is dirty. Hard to move around in and the prices marked are not always what you pay. Watch what the price rings up at . The check out people are improving. They used to lick their fingers to get the bags open. Maybe they gave a course in hygiene.

Good meat selection that is reasonably priced. Great hoagies and sandwiches already prepared and very inexpensive, like $1.50 for a ham and cheese. Best place to buy Jell-O! Looks dingy but they have all you need in most cases. Bulk candy!!!

I've been shopping at JG all my life and my parents and grand parents did too. It's a great store with good people that are employed there. They alittle high with some prices but others are great,its much better that shopping at Walmart because the people there care about your shopping experience.
