I think this place depends on what you order off the menu. I had a perfect grilled chicken salad last week. This week, it was a very dried out roast beef dinner that tasted like beef jerky with gravy on it and mashed potatoes that were runny and tasted like instant potatoes. The crispy fries were good and so was the beef gravy. The chicken breast dinner was bland, without seasoning, but not so bad after a sprinkle of salt and pepper. Overall, I'd say probably good for fast food choices but their dinners need some work.

We love going here. Everyone is always so cheerful, pleasant, and attentive to the customers. There's a friendly, hometown atmosphere and the food is absolutely delicious!

Ran in for a late breakfast and to sit down for a few minutes. Place is clean and well kept. It was SO nice to go into a small local place and NOT see political agenda all over the place. I ordered the breakfast scramble, toast was cold but everything else was very good & hot. Young guy waiting the tables was very nice.I

Awesome place for unusual flavors, everything from the pancakes to the wings are unique. Highly recomend coming in for a meal or even just some self serve beverages and a pie to go. Fantastic selection at the vandy bar too!

I suppose I should always clarify when cooking my eggs that slime is not acceptable. My first visit. my last visit. Eggs were so underdone and half cold. I did not eat the eggs. Home fries were hot and cooked perfectly. Toast cold. Not impressed. I do have to remember to specify no snot. So I hold myself partially responsible for the mishap. I find each restaurant has a different idea of what " over easy " means to them.I find ordering "over medium" over cooks them for my liking. Pleasant staff. Clean. .Homemade pie I wanted but was too mad to buy one when I left my breakfast order sitting on the table all but uneaten.

I live out of state and wanted my sister to have a birthday cake. I called Express Cafe and received Superior customer service from everyone I spoke to. I had special requests and they were accommodated without question. The cake was delivered to my sister and she loved it. I wish I lived closer so I could visit. I would highly recommend this business to anyone passing through that area of the state.

Went in and they didn’t have a good selection of baked goods at all, I settled for cupcakes even though I wanted a pie, the cupcakes were stored in the cooler and even after letting them get warm it has to be the driest cupcake I’ve ever had and the icing tasted off! The pictures on their google make the place look way better than it is!

My battered fish was dry and overcooked. I was not able to eat the macaroni and cheese because it had a funny taste to it. I gotta a beautiful apple pie that tasted like there was not sugar or spices added. Very disappointing

My wife and I had wonderful meals here today. I ordered a Stromboli and was told it would be awhile since the oven wasn't heated up yet. It was well worth the wait. One of the best I have ever had. My wife had the chicken salad and she said it was great. Far more than she could eat. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Also the price was very low for the quantity and quality of the food.

Great place, to have a meal. Staff is wonderful and they welcome you like Family ... They do pies, cakes, cupcakes and of course there Famous no-bake cookies...Parking: Has front of business parking ... handicapped accessible...Kid-friendliness: Yes, it is kid friendly, has a menu for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: Place has lots of room for wheelchairs.

I got a salad and asked for no tomatoes or cucumbers. Simple enough right. Not only did have both of those but they were cut up in tiny pieces. I know the waiter wrote everything down right. But apparently a woman named Cindy was cooking. From what I've been told by the locals is she a petty women and the owner!!.Don't eat here!!! There are many other places to eat in the area. If you are like me and just wanted a quick bite, you'll be better off going to get food at the gas station.Will never be coming back.

I can honestly say I have never been happier with a service I received. Cindy and her staff go way above and beyond for their customers. She recently catered our wedding, and everyone was raving about how delicious her home cooked food is. Her restuarant always has baked goods ready to go and her open faced sandwiches are to die for. I highly recommend her to anyone!!

We have ordered two birthday cakes for our family and let me tell you they are amazing! Very moist and the best icing not to mention the attention to detail is impeccable! Very happy that Clearfield has a location that you can have deliciously made to order cakes at a very affordable price! Highly recommend!!

Great place! Friendly, hometown feel. Just like going back to mom's. Tammy and staff are friendly, helpful and make sure you are happy. The Breakfast buffet has all the staples you would expect and Tammy offered to make eggs to order. Good food and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back.

I'm not sure of the fella's name working this morning, however he was the only person running the cafe as we overheard him say someone else didn't show up for work. His customer service was superb and his hard work was appreciated! He definitely needs commended!

I ordered a Black Forest cake and it was absolutely delicious and a very reasonable price! Getting cakes, made to order, is a lost art. It was nice to know that someone, locally, still does it! Thank-you!

Just left and had terrible food. Chicken basket- chicken burnt. Cheesesteaks, not sure what kind of meat, seemed like jerky. Hot chocolate was watered down. Hotdogs cold. Not going to be a repeat customer Nothing eaten but hotdogs and fries, still charged us with plates full of uneaten foodIt's not enough the bad food, but owner makes up stories. We have bill and I took 1 bite of my cheesesteak. Once is enough. We were done before cook asked about chicken. Why would we believe chicken wouldn't be burnt second time Sad

Well I am sorry I have eaten at this place so many times. I called tonight cause online it states the hours are till 9 pm on saturdays. The lady that picked and answered the phone was very rude and said "oh well your wrong". WOW!! I can't believe that. Is that how small businesses treat people. They must not want to thrive and have business. The normal thing that should have been said was "I am sorry but those hours are not ours and we are closed already. She didn't even know what hours they were open daily for business. She had to go read the front door. I am done eating here. Won't recommend to anyone. Now I will let everyone know this is not the place to eat. They need to know that people deserve 100% greatness for customer service. Express Cafe hopefully you figure this out.

Food is always good but it takes quite awhile to get it. I arrived for lunch and gave my order at 12:13 and there was only me and one other set of customers. Food didn't arrive until 12:43.
