Your business and crews are a blessing in the Clarks Summit Area!We just moved to Clarks Summit and are amazed by how welcoming the employees are in this store.We went to many stores such as Lowe’s, Home Depot, and even another Ace Hardware branch, but none of them have a team as helpful and genuine as this store :)

Even with stock missing at other stores, Ace is helpful and will have something to get the job done. No lumber, but they do have pickup and tool sharpening services for saw blades and the like at reasonable prices.

I was recently in your Ace Clarks Summit Pa store after going to Lowes in Dickson City and being treated like I was an idiot. An associate named Mike helped me out. He was so helpful. He took quite a bit of time helping me out. It was a wonderful experience. He is a great asset to your company. I just wanted to thank him for his time. And let the company know how great he is!! Gerritys supermarkets have always been very service-oriented. Ace hardware stores have also been very customer friendly too. The newly acquired hardware stores in combination makes for great great service at either the Keyser Avenue or Clarks Summit hardware stores. Their selection is excellent and staff knowledge and assistance are always good, thus it's sometimesmore convenient to visit local hardware stores than going to the big box stores. Sometimes a few extra dollars is well worth saving the gas and time especially in today's inflated world. Highly recommended

Absolutely the rudest staff ever! This is the second time I had the misfortune of shopping there ....I usually shop Peckville store. Not only was the staff rude but they were belittling and degrading as well! I literally had the specifications for the belt I needed as well as the online status showing in stock and part number and the employee still after having to be asked to assist me kept telling me I was wrong although Google often is wrong and it's searches the pictures showing the brand and specifications generally are not! Literally I have never been made to feel like such an idiot especially when I came to them with my ducks in a row part number cross-reference number written out on paper and they still would not account for the fact that they were wrong! I'll wait from now on until I go to the other store before I come back here! I thought maybe yesterday's misadventure was an accident and a one-on, but clearly after today's pitiful experience,it's just the nature of this store to be degrading and rude especially when you're a woman shopping here! They really need to reevaluate who does the shopping in specific areas because this middle-aged woman is the one who has the wallet and the time to come get the stuff so if they're waiting for a man to do the job they'll be waiting a long time from our household!And I forgot to mention they actually made me give them my purse because my backpack is not allowed in the store however my backpack is a purse and backpacks are purses these days and one should really recognize fashion trends when they take someone's purse and keep it at the counter knowing that I was in the day before carrying exactly the same purse and after they took my purse to the counter I still had to ask someone for help with the belts that I was there for! You cannot make that up !!!

Kevin from the Clarks summit store was awesome!! He went out of his way to help me with a problem I had getting my license plate screws that were stripped off. He came outside to help me. The auto parts store next door wouldn’t even assist me. Thanks Kevin!!

I always find what I am looking for in this store. I love its close location and the employees are always eager to assist. I really like the specials that are offered, as they are more competitive than the big box store. I would give this store a five star review if the regular day to day prices could be more in line with the bigger box stores.

Stayed open later during the severe storm that occurred 9/9 and saved people from having thousands of dollars in damage to their homes. They are also sending other supplies from other ace stores to theirs. Excellent business move for the community

This location always goes above & beyond! Bob was absolutely wonderful! We walked in looking for a specific grill and Bob and his staff was there to help! Even went above by delivering the product for us after finding out it wouldn’t fit in our vehicle! Thank you so very much for all your help! Ace will definitely get all of our purchases from now on, for our personal & our business needs! A+++ service!!

It's a good store with a decent inventory but I would never do the bulk of shopping there for home improvement projects, they are just way too expensive. It's good for when you need a couple odds & ends for stuff around the house. Friendly staff!

Big chain store with a small town feel! This location doesn't exactly have the selection of a mega-huge Home Depot, but it has basically anything you'd need for minor home improvement projects. Mostly staffed by teenagers but they have all been courteous and prompt each time I've gone!

Pretty great as far as convenience goes. It's nice to have an alternative to the big box warehouse stores, especially when you just need something quick. I like that Ace bought the Craftsman brand from Sears. The tools are still solid and worth it. Just note that the sign that says they fix broken screens literally means screen doors and not mobile device screens - a lady was real confused and angry about that hahaha

Nice place, always clean and well stocked. Can be a little pricy, but thats what you pay for convenience. Some employees are a mess, the only younger ones that have much knowledge are Tom and Connor, most of the older employees like Tony and Ed are a huge help though. Ill continue to shop there and recommend it to friends!

I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years but no more. An employee told me today to put "it" on the floor to get my face mask on. By "it" they were referring to my baby in my arms.Had I been asked kindly or respectfully to please put on a mask I would have happily done so but the way I was told was utterly disrespectful to me and my child. And this was after standing there for 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me.Side note- I went elsewhere for what I needed and paid LESS!

Shopping today and saw two of the staff undeservedly take one for the team! BUT, they never missed a beat. Took the hit and kept on smiling. Never discourteous or disgruntled, they couldn't do enough to be helpful. Despite the added pressure of extra hours and filling curbside demands, the store is still providing great service as usual. Thanks for being kind, courteous ,professional and most of all OPEN in these trying times. Couldn't do it without you. THANKS GUYS,!!!

Genuinely friendly staff but I went looking to purchase Springtime prep items and so very few were available. More empty shelves than displays of available Spring or Summer products. There were grilling tools geared towards men. Not what I needed especially from a True Value. The 1st area inside the store appeared like someone started clearing the way for new things but it was a warm weekend and nothing or no one was working in that area of the store.I was looking to purchase different varieties of mulch, Spring bulbs, lawn tools, hanging spring plants, flowerbed edging, seed packets in April, deck decor, citronella candles, citronella items for repelling ticks, cushions for outdoor chairs, etc.The most important items I needed were tick repellents for clothes, animals, yard, etc. My partner and I, as well as our dog and cat plus all of our neighbors a .5 miles in both directions, except the ones who say it doesn't exist all have Lymes Disease. I figured with the huge and rapidly growing tick, deer, Lyme problem in this area Gerrity's would have an enormous selection of anti tick options. I wanted to get a jump on the season. I found 1 lousy, over priced option that I refused to even consider purchasing.I went to Gerrity's Ace wanting to support a locally owned business and was able to purchase a few of the items I needed but ended up at a big chain store after all. The chain store had what I needed, when I needed it, except woodstove pipe. I can buy swimming pool supplies at the chain stores, in April when NO ONE is swimming yet but no woodstove ANYTHING in April and it snowed today. Neither store is perfect.I did purchase 2 different strong rakes and a sturdy shovel from Gerrity's Ace. Both rakes were a great price and well built. 1 was on sale. The shovel I bought was over priced. I didn't realize by how much until I saw the same lifetime warrantied hardcore shovel style for almost $20 less at 1 of the larger chain stores.This breaks my heart. I just moved and was looking to spend some money while supporting a small locally owned store to fix up my place.I spent almost $1200 at a big chain home store buying what I needed and was only able to spend $200 at Gerrity's Ace. I tried and am hoping things get fixed up at this store. It's close to home and the employees I've dealt with were all very nice and helpful.

Went to look at paint for my spare room. The gentleman at that counter was very polite, very knowledgeable about the paint, and was very helpful with my questions. Hope to have him again when I go in for a full can and not just a sample.

You always seem to run into right clerk for the help you need.My Citadel Cambodia pocket folder needed screws matched up because the Oxen horn handle scales contracted from Weather.Ace actually had ones better than the ones that came on it.Was $140 knife so did not want to down grade hardware.Clerk helped me matching up all the many thread variations.Dark hex screws that look like gun bluing..Really superb.ACE has it all,lucky to have them in the Summit.They hire well in that place.

So a friend and I went to Ace to pick up some paint and we got it mixed by David O. We went to put the paint in the car when one paint can lightly tapped the other and the paint went all over her car. When we informed David ( Manager) he said " Thats the one I didn't pound down " so he then proceeded to bring us stuff to clean the car. Then told us he would be out " to check on us" so although I did get a refund and a new can this should not be happening very mad.
