Worst pharmacy ever. They don’t explain anything, always canceling scripts sent over and trying to blame the doctors. They removed my insurance from my account and didn’t tell me until after I paid for my medications. Absolutely ridiculous. They talk to you like your stupid, especially the bald male pharmacist. Changing pharmacies, this place is a joke.Good luck if you go here, hopefully you have a paper copy of your script because they will tell you it was cancelled by your doctor’s office!

CVS on State St in Clarks Summit is clean and well stocked. Pleasant staff. And CVS electronic coupons that I load onto my card saves a lot of money, like $7 off $21 last visit.

The pharmacy is horrible. Very rude employees. They will take it upon themselves to cancel a script and they wont even accept your workers comp information, they told me to pay out of pocket and for me to submit the receipt to my workers comp caseworker.

Pharmacy is fine but manager is extremely rude. I was picking up a prescription while she literally yelled and kicked out an old elderly couple for using the bathroom while she had it closed for cleaning. I understand her frustration at the situation but her level of disrespect for the elderly as the entire store heard her screaming at them and eventually kicking them out. The place was completely silent as it made everyone so uncomfortable, it really was a shame to witness that. She could have handled it in a professional and mature manner as a manager instead of as a nasty, angry teenager. As a caregiver for my elderly mother, I felt such sadness for the 80-some year old couple who she treated like that.

I’m a new customer at this CVS pharmacy, I’ve only been there three times. My first two visits at the pharmacy went well, everyone behind the counter were all pleasant and very helpful. I can’t say the same about my third visit. At least 45 minutes prior to my visit, my foot doctor submitted a pain relief prescription for plantar fasciitis and told me to stay off my feet as much as possible. When I arrived at CVS there was only one woman at the pickup counter and a line of 4 people ahead of me. When I asked for my order, I was told it wasn’t filled yet and to come back in 15 minutes. I returned 20 minutes later and found a longer line with a young lady behind the counter. After another long wait, I was told it wasn’t filled and to come back in 15 minutes. After telling her this was the second time I was told to come back, she said “then it should be ready soon, come back in a few minutes”. I asked, should I wait here or do I have to wait in line again? Her answer was, “Do what you want, I have too many prescriptions to keep looking for yours”. An 85 year old couple siting on the side told me to take a seat and said they’ve been waiting 20 minutes for their prescription. As I headed for the back of the line, I told them she said she was too busy to look for my order and suggested they speak up or they’ll be there forever. Now my third time standing on line with 9 other customers in front of me, my foot was hurting. Quite a few minutes later, I was now 3rd on line when I saw and heard the elderly couple ask for their prescriptions. The young lady at the counter told them they would have to go to the end of the line. At this point, I and several other customers at the front of the line began to protest and told the elderly couple to go in front of us. They refused and went to the end of the line, now 13 customers behind me. I have no idea if the young lady was properly trained in customer service but suggest another session if she was. Customers should not have to return to the end of the line, they should be asked to step to the side and finding or filling their prescription should be made someone’s priority. I’m also concerned that with the commotion of protesting customers happening, only one employee stepped up to open another register, not one employee in the pharmacy stepped forward to assist the elderly couple. I don’t want to leave a low rating over one bad experience but, if these reviews are of any value to Clarks Summit CVS, either policy change or retraining of counter employees is needed.

I rarely leave a review for a product or a place in my 37 years on the Earth. I am new to the immediate area and found CVS Clarks Summit is the closest pharmacy my insurance accepts, albeit sometimes I wonder if not getting medications and choosing death would be vastly preferred over the incompetent and abysmal customer service offered. You read that right, I am contemplating death over venturing to this place of business. No joke.

This has to be the slowest pharmacy around. I go hear because my prescription insurance requires it. Twice I went today to get my medicine and twice I left with out it. Both times the drive through and inside were people/cars deep and both times I waited 15 minutes to see and both times the line only moved once. No I have to go back a third time and hope no one is there. I don’t know if they are short staffed or what but man, 30 minutes wasted and people were very frustrated. Maybe they should care more about customer service than their mile long receipts that print.

I’ve been using this pharmacy for years and for years the pharmacy staff has been less than pleasant to deal with. When I come monthly to pick up my medication I’m treated like I’m a burden, even though they signed up to work at a pharmacy. I’m interrupted and cutoff every single time I come even when I simply say “hello how are you” I’m immediately shut down and treated horribly. The management needs to get a better handle on their pharmacy staff before they continue to lose customers.The store staff however, are excellent to work with.

There is an older lady with short brown hair and glasses that works in the pharmacy and she is always so rude. She acts like doing her job is a big inconvenience. I went to pick up my rx like normal and she says it's not in the system. After I got a text saying it's filled. She said the doctor never called it in. So after calling my doctor and confirming the pharmacy confirmed the rx over an hour ago I walked up to her to tell her what my doctor said and magically it was sent that very moment. She proceeded to scream across the pharmacy that it won't be ready for an hour that they are busy. Well one thats not my fault, that's theirs to deal with and #2 do not scream across the pharmacy my name and how long it's going to take when not once did I act mad or inconvenienced. It was a life sustaining medicine. Then mind you it was already filled and they made me wait an hour before they called me. Then the cashier in the pharmacy apologized to me on her behalf. I told her she didn't treat me that way so therefore she didn't need to apologize to me. He supervisors let her yell at me and didn't bat an eye. Terrible serivce.

scheduled flu shot - showed up at the counter - no "hello" and waiting while 2 employees chatted.Then told they don't have flu shots! Told her i scheduled on line and she said it was a system issue. No signs saying they didn't have him. Called in to complain which is annoying phone system. The person stated they have been out for days!!! but they're trying.Service - Rude. Maybe a nice hello and sorry would have been fine but bad information served up rudely is not cool.Going elsewhere - have always gone to cvs this one is RUDE>

Trying to figure out why this pharmacy does not answer the phone to get an eta on a prescription.... I will deal with it for myself but when it comes to my 15 month old, not ok. I've been sitting here now in front of the pharmacy with them on hold for over 32 minutes while and no phones ringing, no one cares. Long time cvs customer. That will now change.

100% disabled combat veteran drove over 1 hour to get Covid meds after testing positive, the va sent it in but the pharmacist denied it and said he didn’t know that doctor. Horrible treatment sent home 1 hour and magically they found the va doctor that they misspelled. Worst treatment I ever got with meds. Hell it was Covid meds not narcotics!

FYI! There is a solid chance the pharmacy will hang up on you.Lmao how professional.. and they wonder and assume we the people are always mad or get annoyed, when they're usually the ones that get mad and annoyed, not me the customer, since they understand the process better, and things are inconsistent at best. Also, I'm not talking about the people who do checkout.

Don’t waste your time trying to get vaccinated here!No stars. Terrible customer service. Scheduled a flu shot for my husband at the moo six location, he got there said they didn’t have any! They shouldn’t have available appointments. Called ahead and made sure they had them and made an appointment and they said no prob. Husband gets there they tell him he has to wait an hour! And they were incredibly rude about it. He left. Will never give cvs my service again.

Feel bad giving a bad review but after receiving MUCH better service from my Philadelphia location, it’s clear that the customer service in Clarks Summit is very poor. My phone call to Clarks Summit was started with an irritated hello, I said hi, and they said can I help you, still sounding irritated. If I called the pharmacy and waited on hold, you can obviously help me because that’s why I’m calling, and you don’t have to be so rude and impersonal about it. Philadelphia answered with “thank you for calling CVS this is “name” speaking how may I assist you”? THAT is how you answer a phone call to a business. Get it right.

Pharmacist rudely told me it was too early to have ADHD prescriptions refilled when I knew it wasn't. Didn't have both filled by 7pm, when call was made at 930am. Then didn't run prescription through both insurances!

Never been so humiliated in my life by Store manager, Susan. Stopped by to shop and I verbally got harassed by the store manager because I buying a few paper products. She literally screamed at me in the middle of the store. Asked where the sign is for limit (I had a rain check to use) and she literally screamed at me limit 1 of everything in the store. So mad. I was later asked to leave the store and I left with NOTHING. Terrible customer service.

Don't try to purchase vitamins when a "buy 1 get 1 sale" is posted. Many types don't qualify because another sale may be going on at the same time. Very confusing!

Visited this pharmacy on feb.6 2020 at 12 noon..The male pharmacist on duty at this time went over and above to call other phamacies to get special eye drops for my son.Kudos.Great staff!!

My relic samsung galaxy has smashed screen but I needed to retreive gallery images for US POSTAL SERVICE DAMAGED ITEM CLAIM..A woman,(may have been manager " Lindsay",told me to find her when I arrive)..I walked in,was told she was in office.She stood trying to help me and eventually used HER OWN PERSONAL PHONE TO " Piggyback" my relic PHONE , so to help me retreive pictures..WHERE WILL YOU GET SUCH HOMETOWN SERVICE AS THAT????...For a branch just getting going,hope they continue to have such top knotch professionals who know " What's up" when chips are down!!!! Many Thanks!!!!!..Such Deeds earn my loyalty!!! We got a good one started there ,NICE TO GET GREAT SERVICE...
