This review is specifically for this Rite Aid location in Cheswick store #10893.In the past week they have failed to fill two of my prescriptions. The first was a very important medication I needed immediately that was called in by my doctor at 9:30am...I had to call at noon that day asked when it would be filled and was informed they hadn't even looked yet but they would have it done in an hour. My fiancé went there at 2:30pm, had to wait for a half an hour to be told they didn't have the medication and would need to order it and it would come in on Monday. When he asked if the young man could send it to another Rite Aid he said no he didn't know how. I had to have my doctor recall in my prescription to a Giant Eagle...they had it done in 30 minutes. I then needed another one of my prescriptions re-filled and unfortunately I had to use this Rite Aid again...I phoned into the automated system to refill at 8am and the recording told me the medication would be ready before 1pm that day. I never received a call so at 6:30pm I called the pharmacy. Once I reached someone in the pharmacy I asked if my prescription was ready...her response was "yeah I see it here...I can fill it now." I then asked why it wasn't already filled as I called it in at 8am...her response "well I can fill it now" like I was bothering her. This will be the last time I get anything filled at this Rite Aid.

My doctor and myself have called Rite Aid in Cheswyck to tell them to discontinue my medication. I went into cardiac arrest I couldn’t breathe my hands wouldn’t stop shaking I was falling I was extremely dizzy. My doctor took me off of it but yet Rite Aid keeps sending it to me every month. And I called them to ask them why and a nice girl name Nikki decided to hang up on me. So I guess I turn it in to corporateThey could’ve killed me once again

Not a bad location as it is very convenient for picking up a few everyday items. Stocked with all the "drug store type" items you will find at any location. The staff are friendly and helpful which makes your shopping trip here a little better. I recommend a visit if you happen to be in the neighborhood.
